Rejoice and be glad!

What a day of rejoicing this is. But you may say how bad things are.

"This is wrong. That is broken. I am hurting, sick, wounded."

And you may further say that you have nothing to rejoice and be glad over. Well, listen to me. I have given you joy for rejoicing. It delights my heart to see you rejoicing.

When you do this it pleases me just because you do it but also because of what I see happen in your when you rejoice. It frees your spirit and soul and allows the Holy Spirit to set you free.

MAKE A LIST

Oh how important it is that you rejoice. Make a list. Empty your heart. Remember my goodness and faithfulness in all kinds of situations during your life. Think on things above and know that one day soon you will be here beside me in heavenly place permanently. No more things of the world to weigh you down.

Rejoice and be glad!!

Psalm 31:7 “I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities.�

Psalm 118:24 “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.�

Matthew 5:12 “Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.�

Revelation 19:7 “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.� -------
