Three Rules of Predictive Prophecy
Below is an updated e-bulletin on a powerful predictive prophecy I gave years ago for the summer of 2006. Along with this e-bulletin I wanted to include these comments from a book I've recently read on the rules governing accurate predictive prophecy. In order to maintain integrity in the prophetic a true predictive prophecy must adhere to certain criteria. Here is that information taken from a book entitled "Prophetic Light" by Frank Boyd.
"A prophet is vindicated and his message authenticated by the fulfillment of his predictions. (In other words) there are definite laws governing predictive prophecy." - F. B.
Here are the three laws:
1. An accurate prediction must be beyond the power of human foresight or sagacity. In other words, forecasts based on any observable (natural) trends are ruled out. This means that prophesying an obvious or common future event does not constitute a true predictive prophecy. For example, predicting that the sun will rise tomorrow morning is not in any way a prediction. It is a statement of fact. No foreknowledge from the Holy Spirit was required.
2. An accurate prediction must contain a sufficient number of specific details to preclude guesswork. Generalizations do not fit the norm of real predictive prophecy. The more accurate and fulfilled details there are in a prophecy, the greater the likelihood the prediction was truly from God.
3. A sufficient time must elapse between the prediction and its fulfillment to prevent any agency of the prophet or his contemporaries from bringing about the results. An accurate prophecy gains strength and momentum by itself over time until the season for its fulfillment. In this sense, time is the great test of all predictive prophecy. True predictive prophecy comes to pass OVER TIME, and inaccurate predictive prophecy fails to come to pass OVER TIME.

The Results Are in: Prove, Test, Try and Judge
Greetings in Jesus' name!
Here in the U.S.A., the summer of 2006 was literally the hottest on record. Coincidentally, in March of 2006 God gave me an unusual prophecy for June, July, and August titled the "The Perfect Storm," subtitled "The Sizzling Summer." I believe I was prophetically identifying a summer season in the supernatural that was going to literally sizzle. And according to the numerous testimonies I have received, this is exactly what happened. Praise God! The summer of 2006 was the hottest on record in more ways than one – the "natural" indeed pointed to the "spiritual."

Last fall I requested any and all responses to this March 2006 predictive prophecy. If you recall, this particular predictive prophecy was sent out via my website as well as "The Elijah List" prophetic website and it received a very enthusiastic worldwide response when it was first published. But, was it an accurate prophecy? Did it happen?
My newly appointed Apostolic Advisory Council thought I needed to follow up on this predictive "worldwide" prophecy, and I'm so glad I did! Doing so has proven to be a real encouragement for me and a testimony to the prophetic in general.
To date (March 7), 600+ Believers have e-mailed me with their testimonies of this supernatural summer season between June and August 2006. The testimonies I received were truly amazing! Most of the responses came from the U.S., but there were many from other nations as well.
The very kind and thoughtful e-mail responses I received "break down" to these approximate percentages.
• To date, just 5% (approximately 30 e-mails) wrote nothing happened to them personally – these folks were very honest and told me that although nothing unusual happened to them, they were generally okay with this. A few thought perhaps they had missed God in some way, but I assured them this was not the case. Remember, this was a global, worldwide prophecy, indicating a season about to hit the universal Church, but was not an all-inclusive prophecy for virtually every member of the body of Christ. Some would experience it, some would not.
• Next, to date, 10% (approximately 60 e-mails) gave testimonies that were not relevant to my prophecy, so I didn't count them – these were wonderful testimonies, but I could not honestly connect them to the things I predicted. These were good reports to be sure, but unrelated to this particular predictive prophecy.
• Finally, to date, the remaining 85% (approximately 500+ e-mails) gave very exciting testimonies that specifically proved the accuracy of this summer of 2006 predictive prophecy – especially in unprecedented healings and miracles.

"From November '05 to June '06 we really didn't see any healings – then in July and August (2006) we saw three very powerful instant healings take place."
