This month (October) the tape-of-the-month is by the prophetic ministry of Chuck D. Pierce, author of "THE FUTURE WAR OF THE CHURCH ( available at: http://theelijahlist.safeshopper.com/80/cat80.htm?863).

I've found Chuck to be a very accurate prophet. Many are not aware that Chuck,-- who does Prophetic Conferences and the National School of Prophets with the likes of C.Peter Wagner, Rick Joyner, Bill Hamon, Cindy Jacobs, -- provides significant oversight to THE ELIJAH LIST. We run many things that we publish on the ELIJAH LIST by other prophetic ministries, but Chuck Pierce is perhaps more a "father" to this ministry than others.

Earlier this year, Chuck publicly told many he was accountable to that in September, the U.S. would "go to war." As you can imagine this sounded pretty hard to grasp by others.

The article below mentions that September prophecy as does the October tape-of-the-month by Chuck Pierce (order form below). Chuck and I were together a few weeks ago in San Antonio for a "PROPHETIC PEOPLE" conference with Ed Traut (http://propheticpeople.com/) AFTER the September 11 Crisis. The Message by Chuck that night is our main ELIJAH LIST message for the tape-of-the-month, (as well as a second message by Don Pirozok called "THE CHANGING FACE OF THE CHURCH" -- a message on a prophetic experience and vision Don was given about what the Church is in for-- NOW!

Dear Clothed with Power Warriors:

It's been good to be home for a week after returning from Hanover, Germany. Most of the prayer journey teams into the nations of the 40/70 Window have now returned. We are receiving incredible reports. Throughout the year there have been three distinct areas in which I have been praying for us. One of the key points that I shared at the beginning of the year was that this would be a year that we would have to put on "A NEW WAR MANTLE."

A SPIRITUAL SHIFT IN SOCIETY

I was asked if I thought we would go to war, and I said, "Yes, in September". I was also asked if I thought this would simply be a spiritual war, and I replied it would be a spiritual war but that it would also manifest physically. What goes on in a spiritual war many times manifests naturally (Rev 12). A corporate spiritual war affects every aspect of natural society: religion, political (legal and military), economic, education. Therefore, God raises up intercessors in each one of these arenas of power. From a spiritual war we see a spiritual shift in society. This is what we are involved in.

DIVINE RELEASE

I also declared in June that the Body must enter into the "DIVINE RELEASE" of the Lord. Most key leaders, including Bill Bright, are declaring this is a time of understanding God's miracle power, so we just had a gathering called: "MIRACLES! Receiving and Establishing God's Supernatural Power in Your Life." This was a power-packed gathering. We had about 500 in attendance from all over this region.

THE NEXT EIGHT DAYS ---CRITICAL! -- FOR PRAYER AND FASTING

During the above mentioned meeting, the Lord spoke a prophetic word and said the next eight days were critical and His people needed to find their place of prayer and fasting. Therefore, I suggested we each find a day of prayer and fasting through October 22. I also suggested that we each read Psalm 101, especially verses 6-8. "Early I will destroy all the wicked of the land."

I feel that if we find our time of prayer, the wicked that is harbored in our land will be exposed in a new way.

DO NOT ALLOW FEAR AS A STRONGHOLD IN YOUR LIFE

These are very interesting times that we are living in. We will either be filled with faith or live with an anxiety and fear about us. I am praying that each one of you do not allow the fear of the future to become a stronghold within you. I have found this fear is usually related to our not knowing the character of God in an area. Therefore, I suggested that as we pray during these times we use the Name of God as a declaration over our nation and lives.

Jehovah-Nissi God is our banner

Jehovah-M'Kaddesh God is our sanctifier

Jehovah-Shalom God is our peace

Jehovah-Rohi God is our shepherd

Jehovah-Shammah God is there

If you see an area in your life that you have fear, go back and study this character of God throughout the Word. For instance, if you have fear of lack coming upon you, go study God as our Provider. If you have fear of abandonment, go study Shammah. If you don't know how to move forward, go study Rohi. Every time God's people went into war, Nissi preceded them. They also had a time of sanctification. These are key times for us to know God. That's my prayer for you.

* for your city and one other city in the nation * for President Bush and one other governmental authority * for your spiritual authorities * for your family * that your resources would remain protected * for those that are suffering and in mourning at this time * ask the Lord to allow you to feel a release of His power as you pray.

p.s. I want to reiterate what we wrote in The Future War of the Church, (available thru the ELIJAH LIST at: http://theelijahlist.safeshopper.com/80/cat80.htm?863) how we must discern and think prophetically. We need to be careful and alert over the next several weeks in malls, public gatherings, churches, and Wal-Mart's. You will hear many warnings in days ahead. We can get a "Henny Penny" mentality where we think something is wrong with everything, and we fall into the enemy's hands that way. Or we can get lackadaisical and not heed any warning. Get up each morning and ask God to direct your steps. Always find your way of escape when you're in a building. Be alert in the Spirit. Be filled with joy so that all those around you can see Christ. Be willing not to force your way into an area if God is checking your spirit. Heed the checks of the Holy Spirit. God is bringing the Church to a place where we must depend on the Holy Spirit.
