Hi Loved Ones,

It is with love and concern that I share this letter with my list. This year the Lord led me to read a book by John Paul Jackson called, "Needless Casualties of War." I am sorry to say it has been available since 1999 (at least that is the copyright date), but I was not aware of it.

John Paul shares a revelation the Lord gave him about the church inappropriately fighting principalities. He was told that people are dying, getting very sick and falling due to going outside their metron (their sphere of authority.) They are also getting well after repenting of doing so. John Paul Scripturally documents what is safe warfare and what is not.

Prior to reading John Paul’s book, I wrote according to the portion of revelation, knowledge, and experience I was given.

But now-- after reading John Paul Jackson's book, "NEEDLESS CASUALTIES OF WAR," and praying over what he shares in relation to what I have written in regards to principalities, I have had growing concerns [about how my words have been received]:

GOING OFFENSIVELY AFTER PRINCIPALITIES

1. I have been concerned that in a few articles, some may have taken my message out of context and then applied it inappropriately. I have always maintained that we are not to go offensively after principalities nor are we to rail at them. I have however promoted taking our personal lives back from the influence of these principalities. John Paul says the same thing in his own words, making a clearer distinction between their influence on earth vs. the second heaven. My concern is that some of the choice of words might have been taken out of context and caused some to go after principalities in an aggressive mode instead of a defensive mode.

2. I have also been concerned that in the specific articles where I have mentioned principalities, just the mere fact of mentioning them has placed the focus onto the fight rather than focusing upon the Lord. I believe that principalities actually want us to fight them, so that we will be caught up in their war and not pursuing our own intimacy with the Lord. (This was discussed in my article, "City Prayer, Warfare & How to Battle Safely 7/7/99. This is still at my website.)

SOME OPEN THE DOOR FOR BACKLASH IN THEIR CHURCHES

3. I have been concerned for those who have taken corporate prayer issues and gone past their metrons into aggressive and offensive battles and opened the door for great backlash in their churches.

4. Most of all I have been concerned for those who have inappropriately fought principalities and become wounded because of it.

I sincerely ask for your forgiveness if anything I have written has influenced you to stumble or become wounded in any way!! I deeply apologize and pray this is not so. I have removed most of the articles at my website that mention principalities for the above reasons.

SCRIPTURAL ROLE MODELS
======================

If you notice in scriptures:

1. When Jesus saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven it was when His disciples were casting out demons from people living on earth. (Luke 10:18) Jesus never told His disciples to war against principalities, rather He told them to cast out demons from people who are living on earth. I personally believe this was His example that earthly warfare causes principalities to fall in the same way a general falls when his army is overcome.

According to Rev 12:9, these all will eventually be cast down onto earth. As an army of believers, we will have more and more of a necessity of using our tools of warfare to protect our own lives and the lives of our loved ones. That heavenly war is still going on and is not over yet. In past visions I saw two separate instances where powers had fallen from heaven to earth bringing with them a great dark cloud of hosts.

THE DISCIPLES NEVER FOUGHT PRINCIPALITIES

2. There is nothing in the scriptures where the disciples fought principalities.

3. The apostle Paul spent two years in Ephesus (Acts 19:10) which was the capital of worshipping the goddess Diana. In the height of riot, they said that in those two years Paul did not speak out against the main principality over that city or try to take her on, (rather he pointed to Jesus Christ). (Acts 19:34-37)

To my understanding, the only time Paul mentions warfare with principalities is in the defensive mode in context to wrestling. (Eph 6:12-18)

4. Angels respect principalities. (2 Pet 2:11, Jude 9)

5. In Zech 3:2, whether it is interpreted that this is the angel of the Lord, or Jesus Himself, it is obvious that there was respect for rebuking Satan.

IT IS APPROPRIATE TO STAND & WITHSTAND
======================================
In the following scripture, the church has been told to stand and withstand principalities. Notice this is a defensive posture, rather than an offensive one:

Eph 6:12-13 KJV:

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to WITHSTAND in the evil day, and having done all, to STAND."

Taking a defensive position does not mean that we go after principalities, with the intent that we can remove them from their position or power in the second heaven. Rather a defensive position is the posture of "standing against such" when a principality comes to our personal life and opposes us or our loved ones. John Paul also endorses this exception to warring with principalities. (pages 90, 91, 93)

WRESTLING PRINCIPALITIES ========================
Notice in the above scripture that it says we WRESTLE with principalities. This does not suggest that we take them down, judge them, destroy them, or bring them to naught. I have been taken up into the atmosphere and literally wrestled with principalities as have others . This is not something I have ever wanted to do and it has always been against my will. The experience is exactly like a wrestling match you might see in a school gymnasium, only it is in the air.

I have used the authority the Lord has given to bind in Jesus Name in order to ESCAPE the experience and these times have been a divine deliverance and rescue. In these situations, the binding has been temporary. I have experienced both the anointing, the Presence of the Lord, His help, angelic help, and authority in various degrees during some of these experiences. After my experiencing these episodes, I have come to believe that when Paul spoke of wrestling with these powers, he literally did so and was quite familiar with the experience. I personally know others who also have had this wrestling match experience.

KEITH DAVIS' BATTLEFIELD VISION

Keith Davis had a vision in January of 99 as they were praying for the revelations for the new year. He saw a battlefield and he was in it and had a sword in his right hand. Many others also were fighting what they thought was the end time battle. The following is a quote from a tape of his vision.

"One step at a time we were driving them back and we thought we were winning. The battle was bloody and ferocious. We had the false impressions that we were winning the end time battle.

He looked up and the clouds parted and all of Satan’s big cannons were pointing right at us. IN REALITY IT WAS A TRAP and we were not as prepared for the end time battle as we thought.

Immediately I was transported to an operating room and was on the operating table. The technicians were working feverishly and stripping off my flesh. I said, "Where am I?" I saw a little white germ of life and had been stripped back to the origin of life. They began to put me back together and were taking off the Lord’s body and were putting it on me. I looked just like myself. But when I returned to the battle. I didn’t have to have a sword, instead when I spoke the enemy was annihilated, wiped out." REVEALING MORE ABOUT THE CANONS

Beloved of the Lord, I believe we are at this place in history where the Lord is clearly revealing that the cannons in the sky in Keith Davis’ vision are principalities and rulers dwelling above the earth. We are not yet prepared for such a fight and the casualties are heavy when pursuing such a stand. However, let us rejoice that the day will come when we will be adequately prepared, for we know the end of the story.

KJV Daniel 7:27 "And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him."

SUBMITTING TO THE APPOINTED GIFTS =================================
I have an intercessor friend who is a man of God with great authority. He has some amazing testimonies of his walk in intercession that few have ever experienced. There was a season in his life when he was really getting backlash from the enemy and the fiery darts were getting through his armor. He sought and sought and sought the Lord as to why. Finally after much prayer, the Lord answered him and said, "I will anoint My structure." (Now he had two problems since he didn’t know what that meant!!!) As he cried out for understanding, finally the Lord gave him Eph 4:11 about raising up His government. My friend came into revelation that as he was willing to submit and come under the canopy of God’s governmental gifted people, he would find a greater protection from backlash. And so he sought the Lord to lead him to those with the anointing and gifts for these governmental callings so that he could be submitted.

I share this, because I believe that the Lord is beginning to give a canopy and measure of safety to those who recognize and honor His governmental gifts and anointing. I believe John Paul Jackson is such a governmental gift and that the Lord gave him the revelation contained in his book for our safety.

WE KNOW IN PART
===============
Scripture says that we each only have a part (I Cor 13:9) and the Lord will be building greater revelation in the days to come so that we will all come into a greater measure of safety in using our weapons of warfare. Until that day, we must be willing to operate within the safety and metron of what the Lord has revealed as appropriate through His delegated governmental authorities. If you have not read the book, "Needless Casualties of War" and are involved in warfare, please consider reading it. The book shares a very thorough and convincing foundation of scripture.

PRAY FOR THOSE WHO DISAGREE ===========================
Because John Paul’s book is on the front line in correcting the body of Christ, it has the potential of creating division. There are books on the market and ministries that are tackling principalities in an aggressive mode, some more aggressive than others. Please be patient with these leaders, for it will take time for the truth to filter down. When someone operates in faith, it takes time for the Lord to work through the strongholds of mindsets to convince of error and yet not damage the level of faith. We must pray for mercy and protection for those who disagree. Also please remember to lift up John Paul. It is not easy to stand on the front lines with a correction for the body of Christ.

GRACE TO CHANGE
===============
May the Lord keep us all under the shadow of His wing, and may we come to understand how to be hidden in the cleft of His rock. In Jesus Name may we appropriately use the authority that He has given us. It will take time to break old warfare habits. The Lord knows this and there is grace as the Holy Spirit convicts of something said that just pops out in the heat of battle. We need to be quick to repent and ask forgiveness and help to change.

Again I humbly ask your forgiveness for anything I have written that may have led you to war inappropriately. I pray that you will search out this truth for yourselves.
