NEW ENGLAND, "YOU HAVE FELT LIKE A WIDOW, ABANDONED BY ME"

The Lord began to speak to this woman that 'where you have felt like a widow, abandoned by Me, I am bringing you into a season of intimacy with Me and abundance from My hand. And indeed, I have saved the best wine for last!' It was clear to me that the woman represented His bride in New England, and that the baby represented our heritage--the fruit of His precious covenant with our land.

I believe Chuck Pierce's word regarding the resurrection of Lazarus (AT: http://www.elijahlist.com/words/display_word.html?ID=892 ) has tremendous implications for New England. It is interesting to note that when Jesus was being sent to raise Lazarus from the dead, He told the disciples that 'Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, and I go, so that I may awaken him out of sleep' (John 11:11).

WHERE THE PILGRIMS COMMITTED THE LAND TO THE GLORY OF GOD

From the shores of New England, the Pilgrims committed our land and its government to the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith. From this region, two 'Great Awakenings' were birthed-- both burning with the fire of God's glory, and massive evangelism-- the advancement of the Christian faith. Both of these movements eventually died.

THE MARTYR'S HARVEST

Three months ago, the Holy Spirit spoke to me about a coming 'Martyr's Harvest.' Even as the Holy Spirit was sent-- an apostolic word--to raise Jesus Christ from the dead, so the Holy Spirit is now being sent to brood over the seeds of the martyrs and resurrect these seeds from the dead.

It's important to note that the Holy Spirit was sent not only to raise God's Seed from the dead, but He was sent also to secure the harvest of this precious Seed. It is for this reason that you and I are now in the Kingdom! Likewise, the Holy Spirit is now being sent to secure the harvest that these precious ones lived and died to bring forth. We are now invited to add our prayers synergistically to this legacy as Heaven's bowls are tipped (Revelation 8).

"ON THE PRECIPICE OF A THIRD GREAT AWAKENING"

It is now time for the seed of the martyrs in New England to be resurrected to life, and for their harvest to be secured. The anointing of awakening will be brought to manifestation again-- from sea to shining sea. I believe even moves of God, which the enemy quenched with unabated vehemence, will be restored to life. We are on the precipice of a 'Third Great Awakening,' in which the mantle of revival and transformation for which this nation was birthed is now being restored. So please pray-- as Jesus called forth Lazarus, call forth New England out of the grave and into this season of resurrection, intimacy, and abundance!

RAISING NEW ENGLAND FROM THE DEAD

(a personal note of confirmation-- I was first released to prophesy on the 'martyrs harvest' at a house of prayer in Rutland, VT. As we arrived, I was stunned to see the word "Lazarus" spray painted on the bricks of the back wall of this prayer chamber. On the third day of the conference, after sharing on the martyrs harvest and the vision of the Bride of Christ emerging from a casket, a prophecy by Bill Yount was released on the Elijah List...

Among other things, Yount shared about the Bride of Christ coming forth with a resurrection shout, raising New England from the dead.

He also saw a ship in Boston's harbor-- 'not the Mayflower' but the 'Sonflower.' It is important to note that flowers are the first sign of a coming harvest. The Son of God is going to have a martyr's harvest in New England!

This ship, according to Yount, was not filled with tea, 'but with new wine.' God has indeed saved the best wine for last!
