The Church needs to be encouraged. All the time. Every one of us. Every day. This happened to be one of those days I needed an extra DOSE of encouragement. Isn't God good that HIS encouragement arrives right on time? And of course, Bill Yount knew nothing in the natural--about my personal need for encouragement today.

I love the prophetic gift. God is so faithful to speak to His prophetic voices on the earth. Just when we need him, He speaks.

This Word is for ALL OF YOU--and it also just happens to be for THE ELIJAH LIST, also.

I'm even a bit embarrassed to publish it--but I felt that the Lord wanted me to.

May you ALL be encouraged today in this very HOUR and MINUTE as you read Bill Yount's word--for you . . .for me . . .for all of us!

"GOD'S PRESCRIPTION--VITAMIN "E," THE SPIRITUAL CONNECTION"

A health specialist was asked if he could have only one vitamin to take, which vitamin would be the best all around for his body? The specialist said," In my opinion "Vitamin E". Vitamin E has been shown significantly to maintain a normal cardio-vascular system (the heart) and helps to protect the walls of the arteries to maintain good circulation of blood which is vital to the body."

VITAMIN "E" FOR THE "BODY" OF CHRIST

Upon hearing this response, I sensed the Lord saying, "The most important vitamin lacking in My Body this hour is also Vitamin E - ENCOURAGEMENT - ( ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THE HEART! )"

"Encourage"--- means to put courage into. DIScourage means to take courage out of. We have the awesome privilege to actually put courage into one another.

I am here today because someone encouraged me.

Although I have received many personal prophecies over the years, (if fact so many that I would have to live 300 years to fulfill them all!) most of my encouragement has come through just a kind word here and there or a simple act of appreciation. Sometimes we overlook the power of love in little acts of kindness.

For instance, if someone sends us money to bless us, we will spend it because we usually have needs in the ministry or family. But if someone sends us a note of encouragement, I will keep that card and read it over and over again. I will put it away and get it out later and reread it. Encouragement is the priceless pearls that really keep us going to become all that God intends us to be.

STOPPED IN HIS TRACKS BY DISCOURAGEMENT

Elijah, the great prophet (interesting his name starts with an E) was a great encourager to a nation. He prophesied the word of the Lord and saw great victories but was stopped in his tracks by discouragement and wanted to die.

What did God do?

God brought Elisha (another "E" ) into Elijah's life to serve him. Encouragement came on the scene for both of them. Elisha received a double portion with twice as many miracles in his ministry.

Could it be because he had Elijah to encourage him? Perhaps--- known as the "lone prophet"--he wanted to die as a result of a lack of encouragement from others?

DEAD BONES WITH VITAMIN "E" IN IT

When Elisha died, his body was put in a cave and later a dead man was accidentally thrown into Elisha's tomb and when the dead man's body touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood up on his feet! I believe even the dead bones of Elisha still had some Vitamin E left inside of them.

A lack of encouragement is causing many men and women's hearts to fail in these days. Many are being taken out of circulation of their calling because of discouragement. Many times our neglect to encourage others brings discouragement to them.

BILL YOUNT ON THE ELIJAH LIST MINISTRY

I don't know this Elijah List ministry personally or Steve Shultz, but I sense even this ministry is in need of Vitamin E. This ministry, I sense-- needs the Elisha's to come along side of the Elijah List to encourage it-- for we have received so much encouragement from it. Perhaps God will release upon us and our ministries a "DOUBLE PORTION."

Let's encourage someone today to go forward and fulfill their purpose. When someone is down it doesn't take a whole lot to lift them up...maybe just one word, one smile, one hug, one e-mail to make their day or week or month or Destiny!
