PRAYER UPDATE FROM ISRAEL, SPECIAL REPORT 26 JUNE 2001

PRIME MINISTER SHARON MEETS WITH PRESIDENT BUSH TODAY.

Please pray for the meeting between the Israeli Prime Minister and the U.S. President taking place today. We believe this to be a meeting of great portent for the future. It has been reported that the President will seek to speed up the current peace plan, regarding the recent relative lull in fighting as being sufficient to move to the next phase. Sharon declares that there never has been a ceasefire, and Israel won't negotiate until there is a complete cessation of fire. Since the Prime Minister has left Israel, a sharp increase has begun; dozens of violent incidents have occurred. PLEASE PRAY:

*That the Holy Spirit of God would draw both of these leaders to consider privately and together the spiritual implications of the responsibilities and tasks before them. *For protection of these men in mind and body, before and during their meetings....for protection over their families. *That the Fear of the Lord will be over Sharon and Bush as they meet today, protecting them and guarding their thoughts and words. *That President Bush, who names the name of Israel's Messiah, would realize that he and his counselors are inadequate to deal with the fateful issues faced in this meeting. Pray that he would seek guidance from the Wonderful Counselor and Prince of Peace. *Pray that President Bush would approach his relations with Israel and her leaders with great humility; that he would ask for and receive from the Lord revelation and understanding concerning Israel and God's purposes for it and for the nations during these days. *That factors such as economic or political gain would be laid aside, and that these two leaders would realize that they are dealing with the future of a land and people who are the "Apple of God's Eye." *That holy wisdom and guidance would be released to them. That God would make them aware of future as well as present implications attendant to their decisions. Pray that the Lord would guard their decisions, and that He would uncover hidden plans or traps of the enemy.

BUSH AND SHARON AND 25 MINISTRY LEADERS TO MEET

Steve, The leadership of our church, Glorious Church, 3935 W. Sunshine, Springfield, MO 65807 417-865-1468, has requested that our prayer group pray about a meeting to take place at 11am Wednesday, June 27 between President Bush, Israeli Prime Minister Sharon and 25 ministry leaders from the US.

25 MINISTRY LEADERS TO MEET WITH BUSH AND ISRAELI'S SHARON

The leaders that were made known to me were John Hagee, TD Jakes, Mac & Lynne Hammond, Billye Brim and Jim Kaseman. I have sat under the ministry of the latter three. Our pastors at Glorious Church, John and Julie Christopher serve under the leadership of Jim Kaseman who heads an international ministry called AFCM, Association of Faith Churches and Ministers, headquartered in Branson, MO.

Mac & Lynne Hammond are from a church in Minneapolis that started a Christian Internernet provider, C-Faith. Lynne has been a leader in intercessory prayer and has been connected with Billye Brim for years. They have been pray-ers together for a long time. Their forefathers were some of the earliest pentecostals from eastern Oklahoma during the early 1900's. They are connected through Billy's ministry in Branson, MO, Prayer Mountain in the Ozarks, PO Box 40, Branson, MO 65615. (417-336-4877.)

THE PRAYER MOUNTAIN MINISTRY IN GALILEE, ISRAEL

The Prayer Mountain ministry is in process of setting up a sister prayer center in Galilee Israel. Through God's supernatural working they have purchased and paid for land for the ministry, a rare thing indeed. Billye makes regular contact with PM Sharon and other Israeli leaders.

This meeting of leaders is a pivotal meeting that may affect the future relationships of the US and Israel. The US is on the "threshing floor" being sifted like many nations are today. It is very important that the countries' ties be strengthened and the US be found to be a sheep nation, not not a goat, one that is in opposition to God's plan for Israel. I felt very strongly that you should be made aware of this meeting as much of the future of our nation may be affected by it.
