DUNAMIS POWER AND "THE SWORD OF THE LORD"

PROPHETIC WORD AND VISION SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2001

"THIS WAS NOT THOUGHTS . . . THIS WAS LIKE A DOWNLOAD!"

I was at New Life Church in Kelowna on the morning of Sunday, February 4, 2001. Gord Whyte was preaching on "The Agony and the Ecstasy of Healing". As he was preaching, my body began to quiver, my lips, my face...it seemed that every part of my physical body, my emotions, and my spirit were quivering, being literally shaken and empowered by the Spirit of God. A word was quickened to my heart at that time. Some of the word had been in and out of my thoughts for the 48 hours previous to this moment, but this was different.....this was not "thoughts" that could be reasoned through...this was like a "download" of WORD that literally came into my being.

I was feeling very vulnerable at the time and not knowing quite what to do with this experience, but I did sense the Holy Spirit saying, "go to Stacey Campbell....she will coach you....she will cover you."

I approached her as discretely as I could and submitted the general essence of the word to her. She said, "go up to the stage and take the microphone" (something like that)......I said, "come with me, this [kind of experience] is new to me...." She then took me with her and announced to Gord Whyte that I had a word. I asked her to come with me as I felt very "out of control" and a bit frightened due to the "unfamiliar" experience I was engaged in. I felt strength from her and received the microphone.

THE WORD ON DUNAMIS POWER

I can't remember the exact words I spoke, (I think it might be on tape), but the general message was concerning:

1. DUNAMIS POWER -- the Lord had revealed that the province of BC has been gifted with "hydro power"...power that comes from water. Water refers to both the Spirit and the Word. The Lord also revealed that in the natural, BC has exported power to the United States. It has sold and provided power to California and now California cannot afford to pay their bill and is in danger of being bankrupt and unable to sustain it's people with needed power. BC might be called to forgive the debt. The Lord showed me a prophetic parallel and revealed that out of Canada/British Columbia would come a move of "POWER" (dunamis) -- Acts 1:8 and that we would be His witnesses. He also gave me Isa 55:1 "......come buy...without money, without cost".

2. CANADA'S CALL TO HEALING AND PEACE --He showed me that Canada's call was for "healing for the nations" and that we were known for "peace". Peace in the Hebrew and Greek includes in it's definitions: healing, salvation, deliverance, prosperity, reconciliation etc. He revealed to me that Canada was going to be exporting "DUNAMIS" to the nations to bring healing and peace. He also showed me that this-- power and healings-- would be manifested in "New Life" Fellowship (as well as many other places of course) and that Gord Whyte would be used to release healing to the nations.

"I FELT ANOTHER SURGE OF POWER"

After the word was given, I felt another "surge of power". I was aware that Stacey Campbell was with me and felt some kind of connection or covering through her in the spirit. It seemed that I was drawing strength or grace from the Spirit of God in her (I can't quite explain here what I mean but it was something like that). I dropped to the floor and began "birthing in intercession"....but it was not with my understanding or with English language...it was just in my spirit....I literally felt that I was giving birth to something but was not quite clear of the specifics...it had something to do with a revival of power that would bring harvest.

THE VISION-- JESUS, HIS FACE WAS LIKE THE FACE OF A MAN

I then went suddenly into a place of "PEACE"...absolute rest in my spirit. After a few minutes of experiencing this deep rest and quietness of spirit, I began to see a vision in my spirit (my eyes were closed but it was very vivid). This is what I saw:

I SAW JESUS

I saw Jesus. His face was like the face of a man. His face did not seem to have significance...just a "man's appearance". I was wondering in my mind why He didn't look more like God...with more glory or something. Then the thought came to me: "what you see is My identification with man...with My people....." (Philippians 2:1-8 comes to mind regarding Christ's humility and how low He went). I then saw Him with a large, brilliant, golden crown on His head. On His body was a cloak of many colors....it was large and brilliant.

It reminded me of Joseph's cloak of many colors. The Lord spoke into my spirit and said, "this is the "cloak of Dunamis Power" and each color you see represents a unique manifestation of dunamis". I understood that the power of healing, the power of miracles, the power of truth, the power of prosperity, the power of might, the power of love etc....were all the colored manifestations in this cloak. The cloak was absolutely brilliant and could not be missed.

I SAW HIM IN "NEW LIFE"

I saw Him in "New Life". I then saw in the vision, Jesus rising up out of the foundation of New Life Fellowship. He filled the building and His head went above the building. I saw the golden crown on His head and began to notice gems in the crown. (I had not seen them before). They were all different colors ....green emeralds, red rubies, blue sapphires, yellow topaz...etc.......The crown was rotating on His head and releasing rays of colored lights (that came from the gems) to the nations. Jesus not only filled the building but enfolded His robe (representing dunamis) around the building. It was like He was cloaking New Life with "dunamis".

THE BRIDE IN DUNAMIS

The Bride enfolded in dunamis. I then saw Jesus again with His crown and cloak....brilliant as ever. He opened His cloak wide...spread out His arms with His heart/breast opened. I then saw the "Bride of Christ." I did not see her face. I saw her from the back. She was arrayed in a dazzling white dress and veil. She moved towards Him and went right inside His arms to His breast, then securing her head against His heart. He then took His arms and enfolded her. You could no longer see her. She was under the cloak of Dunamis...HIS CLOAK...completely covered and concealed in His presence.

END OF VISION.

"I GUESS I COULD SAY I WAS 'IN THE GLORY'"

Following the service, I was "in a space"......I don't really know how to explain it......I guess I could say, I was "in the glory".....but it was like a "floaty feeling". I went home to have an afternoon nap as I felt very tired (we had had a busy weekend with lots of company).

THE SWORD "WILL WIELD YOU!"

I slept for approximately 30 minutes. As I was waking up, the Lord spoke to me and said, "You will not wield this sword....it will wield you." I immediately began to remember a prophetic word/vision that Carol Arnott had received a few years back on the "Sword of the Lord."

In this word she said, "you will not wield it (the Sword) for it shall wield you". She also said that we were not to take the sword if we were not ready. I heard this prophetic vision/word three times and read it once. Each time, the fear of the Lord fell on me and I felt that He was not releasing me to take the sword yet....it was not the time....I needed to be more prepared. When I woke up from the nap, I felt the Lord say, "NOW you must take it (the sword). You will not wield it though...it will wield you." I remembered the prophetic experience that I had engaged in at church that morning and once again began to tremble and quiver.

I felt that I was to contact Carol Arnott to have her pray the release of the sword on to me. I did not want to be presumptuous though so I phoned Mary Audrey Raycroft (CSA advisor and also on staff at TACF... she knows Carol well). I submitted my experience that day to her and asked if she had a witness concerning Carol. She said that she did witness and that she would phone Carol and submit it to her.

Insert: I had Carol pray for me for the impartation of the sword two days later.

"WE HAVE ENTERED A NEW SEASON IN THE HISTORY OF THE CHURCH"

My sense is that we have entered a new season in the history of the church. It is a season of global harvest and outpouring of glory and dunamis power. The power will be released through the Word of the Lord.....the SWORD of the Lord and from His glory presence.

Revelation 19:11-16 has been a very vibrant scripture in my spirit and is the foundation scripture for the "WAR ROOM" (which we just happen to have consecrated the day before this prophetic experienced happened in church)....it clearly paints a picture of Jesus, THE WORD OF GOD smiting the nations with the SWORD coming out of His mouth.

Jill Austin, in a recent word that was posted on the Elijah List said that:

1. We would see eternal vision.

2. We would speak the Word concerning it.

3. God would bring His witness to it in the earth.

CONCLUSION

1. The Lord is going to clothe His church/bride in dunamis power. (It was "the Bride" that was seen in the vision -- which speaks of intimacy).

2. The dunamis power of God will be manifested in a variety of ways (multi-colored cloak).

3. Jesus' power released through His "kingly authority" (the crown) will reach to the nations.

4. Dunamis power will be released to the nations through Canada (and British Columbia).

5. Peace (healing, deliverance, prosperity etc) will be released through the Canadian church.

6. New Life Fellowship (in Kelowna, B.C.) will be one of the centers for the power of God to be released.

7. The WORD or THE SWORD of the Lord will be significant in the releasing of the authority.
