Kathie is right. She pressured me pretty hard to get me to post this personal email from her to you--to the whole ELIJAH LIST. I finally gave it. I hope it's ok. "Dear Elijah list members - I want you to know that I feel very privileged to be a part of this list. Wherever I go people tell me (I'm not exaggerating) how much they enjoy getting the postings from Elijah List. Steve sees it as a vehicle to encourage and build up the Body of Christ - not as some kind of spiritual "policeman," to try and correct everyone. At the Atlanta conference last year it was great to meet so many other list members - they were all so kind and thoughtful, and hungry for God. The unplanned networking that went on during that conference was amazing - I realized the other day that for all the prophetic words that have been posted of mine, I can't remember ever receiving negative responses - (well, maybe one - funny enough from someone from another list!) That's a miracle to me! -but it says a lot about the type of people that are on Elijah list. It also says a lot of Steve - There is an anointing of grace on the list and its members.

Steve and Derene went to Africa for some great meetings a while ago, and, as you can imagine - the daily running of the ministry, and making the list "work" is quite a project, especially as the list grows and grows - in fact it's a full time job for several people, especially now as there are various Elijah List conferences happening as well. (The first international one will be in Wales in July.) Here's where you are completely free to delete or click to another Email -

I have had to wrestle with Steve about this letter, but it was really on my heart to write it before I leave for South Africa on Monday. The fact is that there is a need (apart from Steve's secretary's husband Art, being in the hospital) for some finances - like I said, just click over if you are in any way just not interested - it doesn't matter at all - no one is offended. But, if you can help out because you have been blessed, and because you believe in the validity of Elijah List - it would be very very much appreciated. I know Steve's going to have a battle to allow me to send this out (pray for him - poor chap! He has people like me to deal with every day.) Well my check has gone - I hope that if you can, you will join me in sending a love offering to The Elijah List
