Suddenly, just last night, a lyric in a worship song-- I'd sung it hundreds of times before---jumped out at me--. . .

"Do you feel the darkness tremble?" the line reads.

Yeah, I was feeling the sense of trembling. Darkness was being invaded. The healing service had not yet begun. The words continued as I grabbed pen and paper and quickly wrote the words down. . .

"Do you feel the darkness tremble? When all the saints join in one song? And all the streams flow into one River To wash away our brokenness"

The darkness is trembling, not just in Albany, Oregon, but throughout Oregon, up and down the Freeway, I-5 corridor and around the Northwest . . . the darkness is trembling.

Why the trembling? It seems that God's people are getting hold of the concept that (among other things): God loves His people with a love that has not been previously understood, God loves to heal those who He loves! Healing is available now---not at a pie-in-the-sky time in the future.

The Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Albany, Oregon has been hosting 25-year-old evangelist Todd Bentley (or is it healing evangelist) as more people than this writer has ever seen -- have gotten healed throughout the month of January.

Now, Bob Brasset is in Albany, with his own "brand" of healing.

HEALING RESPONDS TO THE SOFT CALL OF LOVE

From the moment he gets up to speak after worship, words of knowledge flow like a fountain and physical conditions are spoken out, racing hearts, Tachycardia, esophageal conditions, fibromyalgia, and on and on.

Within minutes, just as when the more boisterous Todd Bentley began to minister, the very quiet Bob Brasset is seeing quick results that are obvious to the congregation and those receiving the healing.

Within minutes, one lady (who has just had her heart rate taken by a nurse) goes from 113 beats per minute to a now-newly-clocked, 78 beats per minute. The people break into applause.

Another woman, who has just had her neck apparently healed after having had 17 years of chronic pain and 3 operations (with a fourth operation scheduled) --gets up front and tells her story. . . " I was healed of Scleroderma, which is fatal, a few years ago. God didn't heal me until I finally understood that I felt that I didn't deserve healing." She exhorts those who are listening not to delay their healing with the belief that their healing is undeserved.

FAITH RISES

A visiting pastor who has accompanied Pastor Bob Brasset tells how an 18-year-old pastor's daughter, having received years of prayers for her outwardly turned legs and feet, is suddenly--INSTANTLY healed recently by her same pastor/parents (who have prayed many times for her). When God moves, he often surprises by healing the very people who have sought for YEARS to be healed.

Pain leaves another woman suffering from Fibromyalgia.
