SEPARATION and ADVANCEMENT... these are words I am hearing over and over in my spirit for this coming year. "For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the DIVIDING ASUNDER of soul and spirit..."(Heb. 4:12)

BETWEEN SOUL AND SPIRIT

I believe that this year will bring a clearer separation between SOUL and SPIRIT for many. God will be separating some things in our lives that have their basis and essence in the realm of the SOUL, rather than the realm of the SPIRIT. There will be some relationships and alliances that will have to change. Some have ties and alliances with religious Babylon that will have to be separated. "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye SEPARATE, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."(2 Cor. 6:17) God will not allow us to bring defiled religious mentalities into the Holy Thing that He is birthing into the earth. I see a great clarity into the present revealing of mysteries coming to those who are willing to lay aside preconceived religious mentalities... the seals of revelation are indeed being broken open.

I see many standing at the banks of the river Jordan like Elisha. The word Jordan in Hebrew means to descend, to pull down. Like Elisha, we must smite those waters, with the mantle of Christ. God will cause many of those things that pull us down, to be SEPARATED from us, just as He separated the waters for Elisha. The Father is not bringing this separation just so that we may stand and look at the dry ground before us, it is so that we may pass on through. It is a SEPARATION unto ADVANCEMENT. For some, this separation will just look like a lot of dry ground; after all, He may separate some things that we hold near and dear, but are holding us down nonetheless. Don't stand there looking at the dry ground of your loss, press through and step into your destiny. You are being SEPARATED unto ADVANCEMENT!

NO WALLS OF SEPARATION BETWEEN MEMBERS OF THE BODY

As I speak of separation, don't misunderstand these words as having anything to do with building walls of separation between brothers or sisters in the Lord. I am speaking of a separation of SOULISH bondages and mentalities that hinder us from moving into our destiny. Yes, you might possibly end up having less involvement with some people and more with others, but be careful not to build walls along the way. "Follow peace with all men... lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled."(Heb. 12:14-15)

For those who are willing to embrace this separation, I see great advancement into your God-ordained destiny. Many have been given a dream, a word, a promise, specifically concerning your destiny; and that dream has all but died. As you release that totally into His hands in separation, He can bring a resurrection. Know that it may possibly resurrect in a different form than you expect, don't try to put destiny in a box.

NOT ONLY SEPARATION--BUT JOININGS IN THE SPIRIT

This may sound like a contradiction (although it's not), but along with the separation of the SOULISH, I see joinings in the SPIRIT. Be prepared for God to orchestrate spiritual connections and relationships, joining you to those who hold a key to you fulfilling His destiny for you, and you holding a key for them. I see a much greater emphasis on the CORPORATE anointing in the Body of Christ coming to the forefront; this emphasis even coming forth in the more 'mainstream' Christianity. The day of the lone wolf , or the one man show are over. "Not forsaking the ASSEMBLING of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."(Heb. 10:25) This ASSEMBLING is not just gathering under one roof for a meeting. It is the assembling of a BODY where each member provides a function and all are interdependent. This JOINING is integral to ADVANCEMENT!

Separation... Advancement... Joining... these are the things I'm hearing for the coming year. May the Lord continue to reveal Himself within you and through you.
