For those of you who enjoy the ELIJAH LIST, few if any have known that our site and the server that supports it have been freely donated for several years to us. This has included a lot of technical intervention by Bob Horton, a dear brother in the Lord.

Finally, I have a chance to bless Bob back! He has saved us literally thousands of dollars in web space and technical expertise, even doing some fancy CGI and other types of programming that I know nothing about--I s'pose.

Very recently, Bob upgraded THE ELIJAH LIST web site (see details of the site below) and he programmed in the ability for YOU, the ELIJAH LIST reader to now search our site for all of our past published words and articles by DATE, AUTHOR, and most importantly, KEY WORD.

This is an incredible upgrade to ANY our site--and again, Bob did this all without cost to THE ELIJAH LIST.

COMMON QUESTIONS

1) How can I get my free project done faster?

Simply encourage any companies that you know to have development work done by PneumaSoft making reference to your project number prior to the beginning of their project.

2) I don't know any people who need development work done. Can I still get my project done for free?

Possibly. Each year we apply some of our revenues towards projects that we consider worthy (projects we feel God leading us to support). If you don't expect to be able to find people to have work done that can be applied towards your project let us know and we will consider your project for the future. Currently we have free projects that will last until well into the middle of next year at least so we can't guarantee any specific completion date at this time.

3) I'm not part of a ministry but my company needs work done. Can I apply it to projects that need support?

Yes. Please contact us with a brief description of the type of project you would like to support and we will let you know if we have something similar available. For confidentiality reasons we will not provide you with a list of all projects needing support.

4) Do you do all projects that any ministry requires?

No. We reserve the right to refuse projects that we don't feel we can confidently support. (Projects outside our expertise)

5) What kind of work can you do?

We can do a wide variety of work but the two general categories would be Internet development and Windows desktop applications (please ask if your project fits if you're not sure what these terms mean).

6) I have a large project and I'm not sure I can find enough businesses to cover the costs to get the entire project for free. What can I do?

Well, the best approach will likely be to try and break the project into smaller parts. In this way you can get the main portion of the project completed sooner and then work on getting additional sections completed as other companies do work that can support your ministry.

7) How does the funding work?

If your project is a $5,000 project then finding 5 other $5,000 projects or 1 $25,000 project will allow you to get your project done for free.

8) How big is a $5,000 project?

We just made some adjustments to Steve's Elijah List web site. These changes included putting all the prophetic words in a customized, searchable database; creating a consistent navigation process; adding a "send this message to a friend" function; and providing an administration area for the site. This work (not including transferring the prophetic words into the database (which was a very labor intensive task that could have been completed by volunteers) was 20 hours worth of work or $1,500. (See our rates below)

9) What are your rates?

Our rates are $75/hr for projects under 4 weeks (160 hours), $65/hr for projects from 4 - 10 weeks, and $50/hr for projects over 10 weeks duration. (Prices are in US dollars)

10) What are the payment terms?

We require a 1/3 payment in advance of beginning a project. 1/3 upon completion of the basic features of the project (in technical terms an Alpha version). 1/3 upon final acceptance of the project. Payment can be made by check, bank transfer, or Visa. Unfortunately we are not able to take payments on other credit cards at this time.

11) I don't know much about computers but I have a basic idea of what I need. Can you work with me to figure out the specifics?

Yes. We have many clients who are not familiar with the specifics of how the Internet works, how to create web pages, or how to write computer programs. It's our job to help you to understand these things or to help you understand how these things can be made to work in the context of your project.

12) Are all the members of your staff Christians?

Not yet but God is faithful.
