Keith Miller: "Anointed for Impact: The Overwhelming Force of the Breaker Anointing"

While I was in prayer one morning, I felt led of the Lord to share about the Breaker Anointing: about what it is, about the increase of that anointing which is coming, and to encourage you to get ready for it! For now, I would like to set a foundation in preparation for future study and examination of the deeper depths yet that the Lord has shared with me concerning this.

This coming flow of the Breaker Anointing will manifest throughout the Body of Christ - flowing through individuals, families, and groups in meetings, in churches, and at events citywide, regionally, statewide, nationally, and internationally.

The Breaker Anointing is powerful. Whenever it is present, I have seen the Lord move in great ways, particularly over the last 14 years, and increasingly so the past year. We can be in a meeting when this anointing flows and see, feel, and experience a change in the atmosphere of the room or the city or the region. We have had four-day meetings in the last weeks because of the great presence and fire of the Lord.

When the Breaker Anointing comes - it leaves an impression. It is like a wildfire that cannot be put out - overtaking and changing the land. I have seen churches thrust into great spheres of effectiveness according to the plans God has had for them. People are powerfully impacted, their lives and their families restored and transformed.

How would you like to see increase like that? I believe that we are starting to see this now and will see a great increase of this realm and flow of the Holy Spirit. The King of Glory will break open gates long closed, and mighty things will happen!

Great Boldness

Often, as I step into the pulpit, a holy and mighty fire engulfs me and there is a sudden release of a powerful realm of the strength and power of the Lord! The fire of His presence blazes through the atmosphere (no matter how hard or impenetrable), moving and empowering His people in extraordinary and fresh new ways such that weariness, doubt, unbelief, stress, negative attitudes, fear, and anything holding anyone back is loosed for a tremendous release - and soaring into freedom. How often I hear great guttural cries well up from incredibly deep depths of people's hearts. Whispers become roars as the Lion of Judah wells up in boldness from within.

This anointing from the Holy Spirit takes one from weakness to boldness and originates from deep within the inner man! It is an awesome fearsome thing to watch the Lord empower His people with His Holy strength, releasing the boldness to believe the impossible is possible!

The Anointing Ushers in the Glory!

The anointing is literally the atmosphere of "as it is in Heaven" so shall it be upon the Earth, piercing through the natural atmosphere and literally ushering in the might and glory of the Lord! It pierces! It causes "suddenlies!" Suddenly there is an open Heaven infilling of people and places with the glory of the Lord whereby restrictions lift and much is accomplished for the Kingdom.

The breakthrough glory realm sets in deep like a peg firmly planted, altering everything to bring in great fruit and breakthrough in new levels of destiny as the mandates of Heaven start to manifest in and for people, meetings, churches, events - and even cities and regions.

In this atmosphere of open Heavens, resulting from the Breaker Anointing breakthrough of the Holy Spirit, signs, wonders, miracles, healings, and salvations manifest like crazy! I can only describe it as the air literally being saturated by His presence as these things happen. The Kingdom of God floods the airwaves of the natural as the King breaks through the gate for major impact.

Anointing for Impact

Impact happens when two things collide together. When we pray, we are asking for the Kingdom of Heaven to impact the natural. A good spiritual example: When someone prays for another about a particular situation and the anointing, this great power of the precious Holy Spirit releases to destroy the yoke and remove the burden. The anointing, which is the tangible substance of the power of the presence of the Holy Spirit, impacts the person prayed for in the area of needed breakthrough.

Whether it is a needed healing, a yoke, oppression, a broken heart, a major obstacle, whatever the need we are praying for on behalf of another, whatever we are interceding for on behalf of the one who asks for prayer - impact comes. The anointing of the Lord, which is the supernatural power and presence of the Holy Spirit, comes forth for tremendous results.

If the anointing flows and comes upon you - it could break open the atmosphere of your life to restore and heal your entire family! Imagine this anointing coming into a meeting or crusade, flooding the meeting place or even stadium to break through tough atmospheres - bringing impact to a greater degree. Bring it up a measure and see the same flow for a city or region!

Can You Imagine?

Can you imagine a major breakout of the glory of the Lord for breakthrough in your family, city, or region? The Breaker Himself breaking through for transformation can make anything happen...anything! Be prepared to ascend the hill - to climb to greater heights and cover more ground for the Kingdom than you ever thought possible before. Gates of cities are about to be broken to pieces by the Breaker and mighty things will take place for the Glory of the Lord!

Expect a resurgence of wells - the opening of old wells long forgotten or impossible to get to or thought dried up. Imagine seeing those wells swell up, overflow, and pour out salvation in abundance for the multitudes!

"Rain down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; and let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together. I, the LORD, have created it." Isaiah 45:8

Double Doors and Straight Paths

When the anointing came upon Cyrus (see Isaiah 45), the Lord subdued nations before him, loosed the armor of kings, and opened before him the double doors so that the gate would not be shut! God made crooked places straight. He broke in pieces gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron!

Are there crooked places in your life that need to be made straight? The anointing straightens your path. Are there seemingly insurmountable obstacles that prevent you from accomplishing that which God has set out for you to do? God will smash through and break into pieces the gates of bronze! Are you imprisoned by inescapable bars of iron? God will cut them! Get ready. Do you know what else happens? He gives us the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places (see Isaiah 45:1-3). This is all about to happen as the anointing increases in coming days, weeks, and months.

Have One Purpose

In David's psalm about the King of Glory and His Kingdom, (Psalm 24), David prefaces almost as emphasis that those who may ascend into the hill of the Lord or who may stand in His holy place are those who have clean hands and a pure heart, those who are only sold out to God.

Listen, in preparation we must be a people whose lives have this purpose to stand in His Holy Place, to be a gate, an opening that ushers in His glorious presence that the King of Glory would enter, break through, smash down, break into pieces, the Lord strong and mighty!

When the King of Glory comes through the gates, He is strong and mighty. When you are in the Presence of the Mighty King, you give honor, glory, and power to His name and the glory releases a realm of honor and righteousness.

Release of Strength and Might

Strength and might are two attributes that flood the atmosphere in His presence. Strength and might are released deep into the hearts of God's people such that people have the strength to cast off their burdens and supernaturally believe the impossible to be possible. This strength of the Lord establishes us in "we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us" (see Philippians 4:13).

Oh, what an amazing thing it is to see the glory of the King drench a place and to witness the release of His holy zeal that transforms downcast souls into mighty ones! Strength and might - strength and might comes when we usher in His presence, when the mighty ones "give unto the LORD the glory due to His name" when we "worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness" (see Psalm 29:1, 2).

In the atmosphere of the King of Kings, repentance comes! Yes! The Spirit of Truth begins to convict the world of sin, makes people conscious of righteousness, and of judgment! Isn't it awesome! What possibility! Can you see this come upon your family, your city, the nation? I can attest to smaller-scale breakouts where people literally race, run, lunge for, and storm the altar to be born again, sometimes even interrupting a message.

Release of the Spirit of Truth

In addition, the Spirit of Truth reveals all truth to Believers. So in this atmosphere those who are already Believers who are bound by deception or by other things, the Spirit reveals their true condition, and a deep cry looses from the greatest inner depths of their beings and reestablishes them in a rightful way. This is all by the Holy Spirit; the Spirit of Truth reveals and lifts dark veils.

Get ready for more of this in coming days: mass repentance, mass salvations, and mass healings; waves and waves, deeper wells, continual breakthrough person-to-person, family-to-family, city-to-city, and nation-to-nation as the atmosphere of His strength and might - His presence - transforms.

Lingering Breakthrough

This realm of glory can literally linger upon a place and upon anyone who has entered into a building or into a place where the glory is present. The place becomes a holy zone where amazing things happen in the lingering realm of glory! I have seen it happen! Remember who comes through the gates - the King of Glory!

In this realm, the dominion and the holiness of His presence intensifies because His Kingship is in the glory! Everything that is not of the Kingdom must bow to the Name Above All Names. Such an atmosphere is like a sonic boom in the spirit as His glory intensifies and becomes like a perpetual far-reaching wave, or like a stone thrown into the water with the water continually releasing ripples that touch the outer rims. When in the glory, in His precious presence, hear the thunder for a powerful release...Boom!

According to David's breakthrough psalm (Psalm 29) "The God of glory thunders; the LORD is over many waters." His voice is "powerful," and "full of majesty." David describes God as "breaking the cedars," yes, even splintering the "cedars of Lebanon"! He "shakes the wilderness," "strips the forests bare," and makes the "deer give birth"! Glory! Glory!

Psalm 29: David's Breakthrough Psalm: A Psalm of David:

"Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones,
Give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name;
Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

"The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The LORD is over many waters.
The voice of the LORD is powerful;
The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

"The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars,
Yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes them also skip like a calf,
Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

"The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness;
The LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth,
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple everyone says, 'Glory!'

"The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the LORD sits as King forever.
The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace."

Breakthrough in the Glory brings about many things, as you can see by this psalm. Notice that when the breakthrough comes it breaks, shakes, sets afire, and births! And it brings about strength and peace. Those in the atmosphere of His presence experience strength and peace. Give Him glory! Shout "Glory!"

According to Micah 2:13,

"The one who breaks open will come up before them; they will break out, pass through the gate, and go out by it; their king will pass before them, with the LORD at their head."

Their king will pass before them with the Lord at their head! This is awesome. The Lord is the Breaker who breaks open the gate so that we can pass through for breakthrough! Yes, so that we can move forward in breakthrough. This is important that we move forward, especially in coming days.

"Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples!" (Isaiah 62:10).

Although this reference directly refers to the deliverance of the Jews out of Babylon, it also relates to the great redemption wrought out by Jesus Christ, and the proclamation of grace and freedom through Him.

When you go through the gate that the Breaker has opened, you lay a course for the troops to follow; the banner of Jesus lifted high signals them to follow you through - hallelujah! God breaks open the gate, making a way for this salvation of the multitudes. All difficulties will be removed and whatever might obstruct your path will be taken out of the way. He breaks through the gates of Babylon, throwing them open, that multitudes will have the freedom to go through them - the way from Babylon to the Promised Land.

The stones will be gathered from rough and rocky places and placed in convenient places to guide, direct, and encourage. The One who breaks open will come up before them, and they will breakout and pass through the Gate, and go out by it. Their king will pass before them with the Lord at their head!

Recall that when He goes before us and breaks open and breaks the gates to pieces, treasures from the darkness are released, the hidden riches of secret places (see Isaiah 45). This has a profound impact on cities and entire regions. With the Breaker going before us, those crooked places will be made straight, and things that have been kept in darkness will be loosed.

Sudden Breakthrough Brings
Overwhelming Force

Expect sudden and quick breakthrough. When David went to Baal Perazim and defeated the Philistines, he said, "The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water" (2 Samuel 5:20). Note that the Lord went out before him to strike the enemy first.

What does a breakthrough of water look like? Imagine a dam busting wide open! Imagine a great wall of water breaking through and flowing, flowing over everything. Imagine rivers of waters breaking the banks, overflowing a land, and overturning all that stands in their way.

David defeated the Philistines with an overwhelming force, like a breakthrough of water. The Philistines ran, leaving their images and idols there that they had thought would help them defeat the Israelites, and David and his mighty men carried those Philistine idols away (see verse 21).

Imagine what will happen to the enemy when breakthrough comes, when the Lord goes before you with overwhelming force.

Divine Direction and Wisdom

The manifold wisdom of God also will manifest. Wisdom sits at the gates. When David inquired of the Lord what he should do after the first victory, the Lord gave him clear directions saying, "You shall not go up; circle around behind them, and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees. And it shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall advance quickly." When David did so, as God commanded and instructed, he drove back the enemy quite a distance (see 2 Samuel 5:22-26).

Here we see the manifold wisdom of God being made known by His people to the "principalities and powers in the heavenly places" (see Ephesians 3:10). How awesome to know that God breaks through the gates to go out before us to strike the enemy. David actually waited for the Lord to strike the camp of the enemy first, according to the plan.

In an atmosphere of breakthrough, everything of the Lord intensifies and amplifies. Everything increases because breakthrough has come! Expect a new level of ministry, of gifting, of signs, of the anointing, of wonders, of healings, of miracles, of finances, of wisdom, of revelation, of understanding, and of destiny in your life! Expect more fruit for the Kingdom, and more impact!

Steward Your Breakthrough

When you hit a breakthrough, steward it with a humble heart, with purity, with gladness, giving all the glory to God, and you will see another wave, and another wave that will increase your sphere of influence and effectiveness for the Kingdom.

You cannot command breakthrough or tell God when you want it or how you want it, it just comes as He wants it to come and when He wants it to come. You cannot hype it up, you can't make it happen, because He is the Breaker! If you are a leader in ministry, breakthrough might not happen this coming Sunday, or next month, but be prepared, because it will come, and it will come suddenly! God may break through the gates during praise time, or prayer time, through a prophetic decree, or the preaching of the Word, or through a mighty act, or "just-like-that." Oh get ready! I have experienced it and I know what it is like.

Many times as I step into the pulpit or onto a meeting stage, I feel that fiery presence of the Lord meeting me there, colliding with me! Suddenly, I have a holy boldness that was not there before and my bones are on fire! As this powerful realm of Kingdom dominion overtakes and breaks through the atmosphere, I suddenly flow with Him and see incredible impossibilities happen.

Oh how wonderful when the anointing lingers day to day, even week to week, and longer! And what impact! Great and glorious ripple-effect impact! We've seen this happen in generations past with some of the great men and women who became history makers with God. Some of these outpourings lasted for years.

Friends - wow, this is coming again, where we will see the Body of Christ flow continuously in established and sustained breakthroughs for massive change, living out the reality of Acts 19:20, as Paul did! Yes, we will experience Kingdom explosions whereby the "word of the Lord" will grow "mightily" and "prevail"! We will see the fear of the Lord fall upon the multitudes and "the name of the Lord Jesus Christ" magnified! (See Acts 19:17-20.)

Do you want a breakthrough of water that will drive your enemies back a distance? Do you need wisdom and direction? Do you want to take your ministry up a couple of mega notches? Are there brass doors, bars of iron, or is there hard, impenetrable ground that has prevented breakthrough of any kind in your life: financial, spiritual, or in the areas of healing, and deliverance? Do you have a heart for souls but haven't seen harvest? Has fruit been lacking? How would you like grape clusters so big it takes two to haul one on a staff (see Numbers 13:23)?

Be prepared to see this realm of the Breaker Anointing Glory be ushered in to bring a new atmosphere. Be ready at the gate with clean hands and a pure heart, sold out to the One who is about to break through for mega transformation and increase. Collide with Him and He will empower you with His strength and His might, with His overwhelming force for mega breakthrough and major impact for the Kingdom!
