This morning, I had one of those profound "God Dreams" where the Lord is speaking strongly to His Church for this hour.

In this dream, I was the guest speaker at a large church as was this lady who was speaking.

HORRIBLY MISTREATED

As she spoke to the congregation, she began to relate a horrible story of a husband who had been saved and then again gave his heart to the Lord MANY times --each time he would fall away again. She was convinced that he had re-lost his salvation each time. But nevertheless, with each succeeding falling-away, it was worse.

I was aware that-- at the very least, it involved marital infidelity each time--and worse each time he fell, and might have also involved some drug use as well.

She was at the end of her ropes and she seemed to be telling this story to the congregation to convince them that she'd NOW done all that she could do and she has exhausted all her options. In short, it was OVER!

I HAD COMPASSION FOR HER

I felt compassionate toward her.

It came to be my turn right after that to speak.

As I spoke, I began to exhort in prophecy and as I did, intense "weeping from the heart of the Lord" came over me...

MY PROPHESYING:

This is what I began to prophecy to the Congregation, as "THE WORD FROM THE LORD'S MOUTH",

"I want you to go to the people again-- and again-- and again AND AGAIN--to make things right or to work on becoming reconciled!"

THE SENIOR PASTOR STOOD UP

After this, the Senior pastor, older and wiser than myself stood up, and I thought, "Uh oh" ---because I considered that I might have gotten myself into trouble by being more "grace oriented toward the sinner" than I should have been.

OPENING UP THE WORD, THE SENIOR PASTOR READ

This pastor opened his Bible, carefully found this Scripture, and read out loud:

Rom 9:15 "I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I WILL HAVE MERCY, AND I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON WHOM I WILL HAVE COMPASSION."

With that, the congregation began to sing a very old hymn and I woke up with this old chorus playing on my mind. Usually this is a giveaway that God has spoken because he confirms it with some "ancient" song from my DISTANT past. It took me about a half hour to find this song on the Internet but here are the words. . . (You can even click on the link and listen to the tune of this old chorus.)

This is the exact tune I heard in my dream. It must be at least 30 years since I've heard this chorus . . .

The song is entitled, "JESUS, WONDERFUL LORD"

Wonderful, wonderful Jesus! He is my friend, true to the end; He gave Himself to redeem me- Jesus, wonderful Lord!

THE MESSAGE IS CLEAR

Whatever we have had to forgive, He's had to forgive infinitely more!

Whatever we've had to endure, He's had to endure infinitely more!

A THREE-FOLD WITNESS--THE SPIRIT, THE WATER, AND THE BLOOD

As I woke up and thought on this experience (and it WAS more like an experience than a dream-- because my weeping from the Lord was so intense!) I sense the Lord saying that this message had a three-fold witness, ----The Spirit, the Water and the blood.

IT'S IN THE WORD:

I Jn 5:8 "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

THE SPIRIT: God gave this whole experience by the SPIRIT in a dream!

THE WATER: Eph 5:25-26 "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the WASHING WITH WATER THROUGH THE WORD." What God was speaking was IN THE WORD-- "Forgive US our trespasses, even as WE FORGIVE those who sin against US!"

THE BLOOD: Because as the song says, "He gave HIMSELF TO REDEEM ME."

TO THE MANY DIFFERENT GROUPS--- HUSBAND AND WIVES, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, . . .

God is asking us, husbands and wives, brother and sisters, members of the church, denominations with other denominations, and ethnic groups with other ethnic groups. . .

"I WANT YOU TO GO TO THE PEOPLE, AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN--TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT OR TO WORK ON BECOMING RECONCILED!"

Because the anointing in and on our lives comes from obedience to this command:

Ps 133:1-3

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard, coming down upon the edge of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, coming down upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing-- life forever."
