Steve:

I'd like to request prayer for a young teen named Nikki. She tried to commit suicide last week after her dad told her he never wanted to see her again. Nikki's mother has been fighting the legal system to regain custody of her daughter for 3 years and now must also fight social services to free her daughter from a mental hospital where she is currently being held because she overdosed on drugs.

The courts finally heard the truth last Thursday regarding the lies Nikki's father has been promoting to prevent her from going back to her mother and there is a window of opportunity for Nikki to return to her mother, and find safety and security in a Godly, Christian home.

Please remember Nikki and her mother. Pray for favor with the courts and for Nikki's safe return to her home.

On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves... Then the leaders of Judah will say in their hearts, 'The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the Lord Almighty is their God.'"

"Friends;

We are standing of the edge of ETERNITY here. We live, walk, eat, sleep and have our being in its presence. We have the distinct impression that angels and a great cloud of witnesses have drawn near to watch as the drama of the ages begins to unfold at the center of the world's stage Jerusalem, that will usher in the conclusion of time as we know it. We are also physically aware of the increased powers of darkness that have come to camp here, hoping to eventually set up their headquarters in the place of God's revelation. They are sinister, deadly, hungry for blood. We travail in the spirit of God often with strong cryings. We lay down at night and receive disturbing dreams of things to come. We are no match for the battle that is building but we belong to the Unseen One who is in charge and will hear our pitiful cries not only for these peoples and Jerusalem, but for the Messiah's ultimate glory which will be borne in this place."

On Thursday the 2nd of October before our next "Sounding the Shofar" the Jewish New Year 5758 will be ushered in. "What does this year mean?" we asked our orthodox Jewish Friend. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "God is in trouble! You know what it is like on a Friday night about 5 p.m. just before the Sabbath arrives? If your friend comes and asks you to do something, you can do nothing... its time for the Sabbath to arrive. Well, that is what this year means, we are standing on the threshold of the Lord's Sabbath and we can do nothing... we must just wait to see what HE will do."
