PRODIGALS COMING HOME

Note from Steve Shultz, Moderator: PROPHETIC NUGGETS--- I would like to experiment with a new feature of THE PROPHETIC WORD LIST,--well call it "PROPHETIC NUGGETS." From time to time, I'll post a number of VERY SHORT prophetic words, insights, revelations, etc. Many of you are highly gifted prophetically in hearing from the Lord-- but your revelation never sees the "light of day" because you don't have a full page---or a prophetic language---or the ability to give the word in the first person---or the ability to give the word in a profound manner, etc. If you have a revelation that is --again, "VERY SHORT", insightful (from the Lord), edifying to the body, and something that we "don't already know" (a few examples follow), then please send it/them in and the best of them will appear on PROPHETIC NUGGETS from time to time. I. THE YEAR OF JUBILEE

This particular year, 5758 on the Jewish calendar, also marks the beginning of a special 50th year event called Jubilee, also called in scripture "The Acceptable Year of the Lord" - when all debts are forgiven and captives are released.

Jesus gave substance to this when he declared about Himself at his arrival in Luke 4:18,19; `The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because He did anoint me; To proclaim good news to the poor, Sent me to heal the broken of heart, To proclaim to captives deliverance, And to blind receiving of sight, To send away the bruised with deliverance, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.' - a Jubilee to all who come to Him!

These are the things He will do for us if we believe. Yes Lord, I believe! Be it unto us Lord, according to your word!

Also on 4/24/97 He gave me this word....." This year I will expose those who have " winds of doctrine " ministries. Those that do not have the whole counsel of God, and are doing their own thing. There has to be a refining done in those that are in the ministry."

III. THE PRODIGALS ARE COMING HOME

(Note: this is one of the words the Lord gave me. It went out a week or two ago,(after being delivered in my own local church) but its an example of a prophetic word that is short--but hopefully edifying for the entire body)

Steve Shultz: The prodigals are coming home. The prodigals are coming home. I see us taking a hammer to the boxes that we have placed the Lord in because the Lord says, "Let me out of the box. Do not hem me in and tell me how I should do this because I am going to bring them home in ways you would never have guessed. Take me out of the box." And many of these prodigals are coming with an anointing on them that is unbelievable because that's why they're running. They're running from the anointing. The Lord says, "Take me out of the box and watch the anointing." And many of these people are going to be catapulted into service. And the Lord is cautioning us, "Be careful of the older brother syndrome" because the older brother said, "But haven't I been with you all along?" And the Lord says, "Yes, but everything I have is yours. But I have to celebrate. I have to place my anointing on these that I've called back." The anointing is like the fatted calf. And so the Lord is saying, "Just welcome them home and pray them in."
