Note from Steve Shultz, Moderator: There have been a number of words from respected prophetic ministries over the last few years---that God is calling his people to pray for those in authority over us. In the United States, that person - at the top- is President Bill Clinton. I have been struck this week, in light of the growing crisis involving IRAQ--that this would be an excellent time to begin to obey God regarding His instructions to pray for our leaders. It seems self-evident that President Clinton needs all the wisdom he can get—to avoid, if at all possible, the shedding of innocent blood in this crisis.

In May of this past year, I said: "God, is Bill Clinton going to be elected again this year.?"
He said "Yes".
I said, "You're kidding me, God, you're giving him another chance!
He said "No, I'm giving the Church another chance."
I said "To do what?" He said "To do what they didn't do the first term?"
I said "What's that?" He said "Pray for their leaders, and quit cursing them!"
