THE LORD WILL REVEAL HIMSELF AS A MIGHTY MAN OF WAR
Dear Family in Christ,
It's been awhile since I have sent any posts, so I want to take an opportunity to send some of these things that I/we here in East TN at Lionheart have been hearing. Please excuse the impersonal way of writing, but I think this would be better for space saving.
For the last few weeks, the presence of the Lord has been very intense in our worship times and our intercessory prayer times. The intercessors have been hearing the Lord in a greater dimension than we have experienced to date. The following are some of the things that we feel the Lord has been showing us:
This coming year is going to be a year that the holiness of God will be brought to the forefront of our hearts and minds. The fear of the Lord will also be a major emphasis as the the Spirit of burning (see Isaiah 4, Mal. 3) begins to be released.
It will also be a year that true spiritual FATHERS will emerge and be set in their destinies. Their example, Christlikeness, humility, and authority will signal a release of the healing and delivering power of God in an unprecedented manner.
One of our leaders, during an intercessory prayer time, had a vision of the Lord putting two gold bars in each of his hands. When he inquired what they were, he was told one was holiness and the other wisdom. Again this is confirmation about the emphasis and revelation of the holiness of the Lord, but also a major release of an aspect of the Holy Spirit termed the "spirit of wisdom and revelation" (see Eph. 1:15-19).
The Lord will reveal Himself as a mighty Man of War (Isaiah 42:10). He will arise in the month of October as the God of war to wage war on the enemies that have hurt and abused His bride. This will continue and grow more intense as the year moves along. Yet, as He shows Himself astute to those who have made themselves His enemies, He will prove His passionate love and mercy to His patient bride who has had to endure so much in waiting for His glory and timing to come.
The Lord told me back in July that this coming year was going to be a year of manifest destiny. The original callings and destinies on the lives of His people would be activated (see Jer. 1). Many who have been "ministering" in certain areas will find themselves operating in their true anointings, giftings, and callings, and will be required to make the proper adjustments, along with their colleagues and congregations.
Our worship leader received a word just today from Hosea 11:9-10: "I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim; for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city. They shall walk after the Lord: He shall roar like a lion: when He shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west." The voice of the Lord will roar from Zion (the church) releasing the fear of the Lord, and many backslidden, hurting children will turn from the world (Hollywood's ways - the "west") and come running suddenly back to Himself.
A fulfillment of Isaiah 66:5-11 is about to quickly come to pass, where whole cities, ministries, awakenings, revivals, etc., will suddenly take place. The intercessors and warriors who have been standing in faith, suffering for the sake of the call will be astonished as it says in the Psalm: "When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream." (Ps. 126:10)
There are many other things that I will send later, but hopefully these have been and encouragement AND a challenge to all of us to abandon ourselves to our holy, loving Savior with a consecration deeper than ever. He is a covenant keeping God and expects the same from us! Love Him with all your heart!
