Obii's two visions of the coming of the Kingdom of God will challenge and inspire you to a deeper walk with Christ. The Bibles teaches us that the Kingdom of God is within us (Luke 17:21) and is a Kingdom that we experience today (Luke 23:42-43), yet the Bible also teaches us that the fullness of the Kingdom will only be ushered in at the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 11:15).

The Kingdom of Christ manifests with parabolic language, prophetic utterance, anointed preaching/teaching with the call to repentance towards forgiveness of sins and is associated with salvations, signs, wonders and miracles. The Bible is full of Scriptures that confirm this (e.g. Matthew 13, Isaiah 9:6-7, Matthew 3:1, Mark 16:15-18). The Kingdom of God is a relational reality made known to our hearts by the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation. The truths of the Kingdom can only be received as they are perceived as spiritual realities and oftentimes this is a gradual process of ongoing revelation. Perhaps as you read these visions, you will also experience a gradual unfolding of God's perfect plan for your life.

obii pax-harry I have felt the leading of the Lord to share details of a vision of the coming down and unfolding of God's Kingdom upon the earth. The vision lasted over two years (1998-2000). In the first vision I had in 1998, the Kingdom of Heaven was at an eye view level, and I could only see the great golden domes that crowned it. Through crackling lightning lines appearing in the skies above, I heard a deep powerful voice exalting, "Glory be unto the Highest."

By the time of the next vision of the same Kingdom in year 2000, it was no longer at an eye view level. The Kingdom of God had come down upon the earth, amongst men (Revelation 21). It came down at exactly midnight but those who were "called out" to wait for it began to "wait" and to "watch" the time at "three minutes to midnight." What came down before us was whiter than snow; it was of "righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit" (Romans 14:17). The Kingdom of God sat upon every inch of ground as though it were superimposed on what had stood as the earth. Every part of the Kingdom I had first seen in 1998 including the golden domes was whiter than snow when it came down. "For Yours is the Kingdom, and the power and the glory forever, Amen" (Matthew 6:13).

The whole earth (seen through the glass windows in a room where some others and I were asked to wait and to watch) was absolutely pure white. Some fellow guests who did not follow the simple instructions given to us tried to get out through the back doors of the building to grab at "goodies" that came down with the Kingdom of God. But to my shock they seemed to freeze, becoming as statues right before our eyes. They went for the material blessings but that was not what it was about. Again, "For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit" (Romans 14:17).

I have had the privilege of watching a progressive unfolding and manifestations of aspects of these two visions of God's Kingdom from when I saw the Heaven and earth connection. I sincerely believe aspects of this awe-inspiring supernatural experience have been unfolding in two, yearly cycles as I will share.

2008 will be a year many believers will witness manifestations of that Heaven and earth connection in their lives. The Body of Christ as indeed the entire earth have been in an experience that can be likened to birth pangs similar to a woman in labor (Jeremiah 30:6). The Bible sheds light on the journey ahead, "For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now" (Romans 8:22). The first prophetic word I received for 2008 came through the voice of God declaring, "2008 will be the year of the redeeming of the firstborn." From 2008, the Body of Christ is to expect to engage in a greater degree with the supernatural realm and dimensions of power ministry--greater than was recorded in the book of Acts if we would believe.

The midnight hour has been upon the earth for a time, but now the Kingdom of God is upon us. 2008 will be a year of birthing of the hope that is inside of the saints (Luke 17:21). 2008 is a year that opens doors for manifestations of the Kingdom in every day life. A year to "Arise" and to "Shine" (Isaiah 60:1). 2008 is a year that the saints will not just speak in word, "For the Kingdom of God is not in Word but in power," but a year for greater demonstrations of the Spirit and power (1 Corinthians 2:4, 4:20). We also "have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body" (Romans 8:23).

Thy Kingdom Come, O Lord!

Many Christians have been living in a time squeeze, especially in the past seven years where so much seems to have been deliberately packed into a short space of time. From earthquakes, to fires, to tsunamis and so forth, the earth has been experiencing cosmic upheavals. Negative experiences appear to be squeezing at the lifeline of many believers, but then that is because the Kingdom of Heaven comes (is revealed in reality) when it appears darkest (in terms of your natural experiences). With this understanding, I perceive the "midnight hour" has given birth to "the morning" in 2008, making this a year that opens doors to the morning seasons. The Kingdom of God is an experience of light, authority, intimacy, understanding, wisdom, compassion, love and the list is endless. Weeping has endured for a night for the Body of Christ, and now joy has come in the morning hours (Psalm 30:5).

2008 will be a year of open doors for a whole new era of possibilities in the earth for those of the household of faith in particular, and also for every inhabitant of the earth (2 Peter 3:9). As said, 2008 is a year of manifestations of the hope we carry as saints in the light and have been in travail to birth. The call to the Body of Christ has been to ascend to greater levels of intimacy, holiness and worship in order to receive clearer sight for the future (Revelation 4:1). I do sincerely believe hence I speak--that many believers have been made ready through varied experiences in the past to now soar on wings as eagles (Isaiah 40:31).

Attributes of the Kingdom Of God

The vision of 1998 revealed what it would take to bring down the Kingdom of God. Two prerequisites were highlighted. First, there was the call to burden bearing and second, there was the call into the fellowship of His sufferings.

In the vision, a woman was diligently carrying cisterns of water she hung across her shoulders by a stick, giving the impression of a yoke. She never turned to the left or right, rather she focused on the assignment of fetching cisterns full of water for the benefit of others. She then went into a nearby church and washed herself with some of the water (consecration) before calling for a huge cross to be brought over to her. I stood on a wooden platform giggling with a friend of mine as we watched what we thought to be a bizarre sight. Our laughter was not intended to be malicious, rather it was brought on by a lack of understanding of what we witnessed at that time. It became apparent to me after the vision that my friend and I did not appreciate what it would take to bring down the Kingdom into our lives and that of others.

Afterwards, another scene opened up with the same woman holding onto a long strong rope which the people around her understood would be used to tie her to the cross. My friend and I laughed even louder. She seemed to understand the message of Paul the Apostle who said, "that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death" (Philippians 3:10). No aspect of her actions was seen as self-seeking. The lady never once called attention to herself, rather her diligence and persistence drew attention to her. When she was rightly positioned on the wooden cross, there was suddenly a very loud noise. My friend and I looked up and right before us spread across the skies was the top half of an amazing Kingdom. The woman we were watching had passed a test. She had shown us what it would take to bring the Kingdom of God into our lives. Romans 6:5 reminds, "For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection."

The only word I could think of to describe what stood before me was "Kingdom," because of the majestic way it stood, taking over the entire skies. A powerfully strong but yet gentle voice could be heard through crackling lightning lines giving glory to God. I was reminded of the words of John, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as a trumpet saying, 'I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last'" (Revelation 1:10-11).

When I inquired of the Lord, seeking to understand my experience, I was made to know that the woman represented those in the Church who have been faithful burden bearers, suffering for Christ. These ones also shall welcome, embrace and manifest the Kingdom of God on the earth. 2008 is a year that will open spiritual and natural doors for saints to access new levels of authority, responsibility and sovereignty especially for nation building. The woman represented intercessors and watchmen in particular who have labored over the years in prayer to see the Kingdom of God manifest upon the earth through the Church (Luke 17:21). Apostle Paul rightly declared, "For the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power" (1 Corinthians 4:20).

Second Vision

To my surprise, the vision of God's Kingdom opened up to me once more in the year 2000, two years afterwards. It ran as a continuation of the revelations of 1998; separate, yet joined together to give clarity and understanding. The key message of this later vision was to "discern the times," "to reposition" and "to watch" (Isaiah 43:18-19). The vision opened to show some people who had been chosen to "wait" in a building that had the ambience of a five star hotel. It was in a secluded place with no neighbors, city life, or roads for traffic.

Everyone was placed in preselected bedrooms. I was to share my experiences in a room with others who were all female and familiar to me. They were mostly women I worked closely with at a point in time in our prayer ministry. There were no instruction leaflets nor were there any hotel personnel around to speak to guests about their stay or what to expect. But each guest knew absolutely the purpose for our being in the building, although some in rooms close by got distracted in the time period we had to wait before the next move.

There was an aim, a goal for our being where we were. It appeared the goal was set by God, and not man's idea. We were all in the same place for a common purpose. The only task was to discern when every guest must leave their rooms and relocate into a different part of the building. The purpose of our repositioning would be known when we arrived at the next place. Every guest was required at an appointed time to leave their rooms and to simply stand in a reception area of the hotel. Those who were carried away with mundane activities missed the silent call to "shift" into purpose. I noticed as I walked past one room, friends of mine were engrossed in casual conversations, laughing and making merry.

Many believers have had to go through experiences pleasant and unpleasant in the past years necessary for their repositioning. We have been in an experience similar to life in the preselected bedrooms in my vision--waiting for the time of manifestation. God has known where you have been all this time, and now from the year 2008, the purpose for our travails will be understood through the incredible levels of authority of the Kingdom that will be clearly expressed through tangible restorations (breakthroughs) from the Christian communities.

Relationships, especially within natural and spiritual families, will be restored as a sign of the coming of the "morning hours" represented by the Kingdom of light. There will be major regrouping and realigning of key leaders according to the original purposes of God as a sign of the coming of God's Kingdom of holiness. Strategic divine relationships and partnerships that were attacked by the enemy in the last seven years will be redeemed from 2008. Strategic Christian leaders who suffered in the hands of the enemy's fiery darts will also be restored and will once more stand together to express the power of God's Kingdom in practical ministry.

Those in leadership like the woman burden bearer in the vision of 1998, who bore the sign of cancer in the Church in their physical bodies will receive total healing and a reward in this season. When the woman in the vision completed her assignments, the Kingdom of God was revealed. The Kingdom of God is revealed at times of completion of divine perfection to lead us into new beginnings. A sign of the times will be monumental breakthroughs in cancer research and treatment. Spiritual alignments, especially ministry relationships, from 2008 will be made purely by covenant for those who have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church.

Three Minutes to Midnight

A change of positioning (repositioning) for the Body of Christ is necessary in order to secure the future. The same was required of guests in the vision for realizing the purpose of our being in the building at all. There were no open discussions about "when" we were to leave our various rooms and to make our way to "the new place." We were not handed floor maps of the hotel nor were any other details given. A journey down a corridor was the only way to arrive at the next level. No one spoke, but rather every person walked briskly and silently towards the next place of meeting.

Many believers have had to walk down the corridor of life in the last few years with no floor maps; just simply trusting the Lord to see us through. Some trials and testings of the past made absolutely no sense, but you trusted God like the three Hebrew children to deliver you from the fiery furnace. The enemy launched intense attacks to cause derailment, but now the corridors of life will lead through to open doors and into physical manifestations of the hope you have carried within you, but will now come face to face with 2008.

Once we got to the next place (reception/lobby area), we found that there were no hotel staff to instruct us as in previous occasions, but somehow every person knew exactly what to do. The instructions to be followed were spiritually discerned, not physically handed out (Psalm 25:14). We were to simply lift our eyes and to look up. When I looked up, I saw a clock hanging on the wall across the room from where I stood. The clock was in full view of everyone who stood watching. We discerned we were to watch the time on the clock. The time read "three minutes to midnight."

Most of the hotel guests (all believers) arrived at the set destination on time. Timing was very crucial and critical to fulfilling this aspect of our assignment. Also I noticed an increase in the speed of activities from when we first arrived at the hotel (acceleration). Everything was happening so fast and there was no option of opting out. The Bible assures us that, "those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

And His Kingdom Came Down

When the clock struck midnight, I heard a loud noise similar to what I heard in my experience of 1998. I recognized right before me the same Kingdom that stood across the skies. To my utmost surprise, the Kingdom was no longer at an eye view level where I could only see to a certain extent, but it had come down upon the earth right before us, covering every inch of space. It stood right before us as we watched through glass windows; it was whiter than snow. The glory of God's Kingdom covered the whole earth just as Prophet Habakkuk prophesied, "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).

Harmonious Worship Broke Out Upon the Earth

Spontaneous worship broke out in the room at the exact moment when God's Kingdom connected with the earth. We all worshipped in the language of the Spirit and not in English or any other earthly familiar language. Together we sang; in harmony we exalted the Lord. Jesus taught, "The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" (John 4:23-24).

I heard a familiar voice worshipping unashamedly in the spirit, standing right next to me. I turned and realized that I had been standing beside my beloved husband all the time. It then occurred to me that I had been in the female section of the hotel whilst my husband was in the male section. But now the Kingdom of God had come; male and female stood together to worship. Galatians 3:28 confirms this wonderful reality of the Kingdom of righteousness, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

I became aware of other male voices as the beautiful melodies we sang grew louder and in greater harmony. What was amazing was the fact that although my husband and I were in different parts of the hotel, when it was time to welcome the Kingdom of God, the Holy Spirit positioned us side by side; not by our efforts (Zechariah 4:6).

Team Ministries from 2008

Men and women lodged in different sections of the hotel for a time, but when the purpose for which we were "called out" came, every one stood side by side. They stood to receive God's Kingdom upon the earth. Jesus Christ resurrected on the third day, but the nation had come into a divine shift from the first day. When He rose on the third day, one of the testimonies from the Bible regarding Jesus' disciple is, "And He opened their understanding that they might comprehend the Scriptures" (Luke 24:45).

2008 is a year of resurrection and revelation. The apostolic Church, the glorious Church of the called out will only be advanced by a united army of men and women singing in the same tune. Together they will advance the cause of God's everlasting Kingdom and sovereignty on the earth. Now is the time!

Deborah and Barak were joined by destiny to contend for the destiny of their nation (Judges 5:12). Strategic, apostolic and prophetic team ministries made up of men and women will be a sign of the time. 2008 is the year beginning a time when "nations building" will be uppermost in the hearts of apostles and prophets, also kings and presidents. Heaven and earth will connect for strategies necessary for national developments. Now is the time to contend for destinies of nations.

God's Glory Revealed

I have humbly watched spiritual trends carefully since the year 2000, in particular when I saw God's Kingdom come down. I understood my experience to mean God's presence invading the earth and reordering affairs to the glory of His name. My humble observations lead me to infer that doors to the supernatural realm appear to open wider in two yearly cycles since the beginning of the new millennium (year 2000). Heaven appears to invade the earth with an open invitation to the Body of Christ to take on the power of that everlasting, pure and powerful Kingdom--in seasons and times. This divine invitation impacts everyday experiences in appointed times through unexplainable "opportunities" that suddenly start to open up where there appeared to have been closed doors in the past.

For instance "increase in revelation" and "greater understanding" are two important blessings evident in most prophetic communities as well as greater accuracy levels. These important factors will open doors to the hearts of kings and presidents amongst others from the year 2008. Daniel prophesied of the last days that, "knowledge shall increase" (Daniel 12:4). John was called to, "come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this" (Revelation 4:1). The Lord promised to give King Cyrus, "treasures of darkness; hidden riches of secret places" (Isaiah 45:3).

Revelation knowledge has increased much and prayers have been strengthened by supernatural sight; that is the coming of the Kingdom of God. Through pioneering efforts of apostles, prophets and intercessors, the Body of Christ is being massively repositioned to fulfill her end-time mandate; this too is the Kingdom of God coming.

The Night Hour is Over!

The Body of Christ as well as the whole earth has been experiencing a dark period for the last few years--birth pangs of a time of incredible light. A major door has closed to a period of darkness and the Kingdom of light (righteousness) has rested upon the earth in majesty, "Arise! Shine! For your light has come! (Isaiah 60:1). The Kingdom of God came in the darkest hour in the unfolding visions of 1998 and 2000. It brought light, strength, riches and much more. There was nothing left to be done when the Kingdom of God came down except to step into it and walk on it. This should be your journey from the year 2008: "You shall run and not be weary, you shall walk and not faint." Amen.

Our understanding of the Kingdom of God is dependent in some ways upon our grasp of the spiritual equity that we have inherited in our acceptance and adoption as sons and daughters of God and what we partake of/share in the Kingdom. Equity in a business sense refers to the value that a company has placed on its shares. The spiritual metaphor here is that we have received a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, an inheritance that cannot perish or spoil and a sonship that is a free gift of grace in Christ from our Heavenly Father. We have access to the presence of the King of Kings and by faith we may come before His throne of grace at any time.

The Lord has seeded the Heavenly places with every spiritual blessing. Part of our spiritual equity is that we are embraced and engaged as a Kingdom and as priests to serve our Heavenly Father. Our salvation is of inestimable worth, and we serve the King of kings, whose love is priceless, whose authority is absolute, and whose supremacy is supreme. Obii speaks of sharing in the sufferings of Christ and the Bible exhorts us that if we do this then we shall also share in His glory (Romans 8:17).

The crux of understanding our spiritual equity is that it is centered on the completed intercession of Christ our Lord upon Calvary's Cross and the unconditional love sacrifice of the Savior for all mankind. In covenant love we are redeemed, forgiven, restored, justified, cleansed, sanctified, healed, anointed and appointed for holy service to our Master. Part of understanding Obii's visions is to comprehend that the Cross is at the very centre of the process of the Kingdom of God coming amongst us. We are crucified with Christ and have died to sin, yet the Cross must do its work in our hearts and flesh, conforming us to His image.

Obii speaks of being repositioned in the purposes and plans of God; this is only made possible as we surrender to the work of the Cross in our lives. True authority comes from emulating divine true love--a selfless love that flows from the Father's heart to ours, teaching us to model ourselves after His perfect love. When we position ourselves in humility to His will and as we learn to serve as a chosen people and priests, the Kingdom of God comes among us with miracle working power and not only we, but all those around us are transformed in the process of its coming.

Obii's vision depicts the Kingdom "coming down" and in part this is a metaphor for the covering that the Kingdom brings to the earth. When the Kingdom of God is upon us, all of our sins are covered over and though they be as red as scarlet, they will become as white as snow (Isaiah 1:18). Furthermore, when holy love comes down among us, it covers all wrongs (Proverbs 10:12). Obii describes a Kingdom of pure, holy love pointing us to the Blood of Christ that cleanses us from all our sins and deals with the penalty and effects of sin (i.e. spiritual death). It calls us to a new level of personal holiness by walking closely with Christ. Jesus teaches us that His Kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36); but whilst we are still resident on this earth, we are a Kingdom people who are called to live in the world but not be conformed to it.

The Kingdom of God is an eternal Kingdom (Daniel 4:3), and so we must reflect upon Obii's visions with the perspective of eternity, taking time to digest the paradox of the message of the Kingdom that is "now" and the Kingdom that is "yet to come." The Bible describes the Kingdom of God as treasure hidden in a field (Matthew 13:44). Perhaps for the purposes of this article, we might liken this to the hidden treasure and Heavenly manna that is to be uncovered in these visions for all those who have been granted the Holy Spirit's desire to search them out. Furthermore, Jesus taught, "No one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again" (John 3:3). May we each respond with childlike faith to the Lord this day, with patient diligence and earnest endeavors.

Jesus taught us when we pray we are to say, "Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven" (Matthew 6:9-10). Let us be a people who seek first Christ's Kingdom, and His righteousness! (Matthew 6:33).
