Chuck Pierce: WHAT WE BELIEVE! EXPECT A MIRACLE!

During this time of year, we must allow our expectations to arise. The expectation of the Lord is a function of our emotions. I am praying for your emotional well-being. A miracle is when a Higher or Greater force exhibits a supernatural power on the laws of nature to bring about an unexplainable change in the earth!

We believe Father-God came as Spirit and hovered over a virgin and impregnated her. We believe the Son was then born to this virgin and grew in stature and favor with man. We believe that He came unto His own, but His own did not receive Him.

We believe that He overcame the power of sin in this world and then sacrificed Himself so that we could be redeemed from the power of sin. We believe that He overcame death, hell and the grave and now sits at the right hand of the Father. We believe His Spirit dwells among us to give us the same power to overcome all temptation, sin and decay of the world.

We believe that the miracle-working power that was displayed by Jesus Christ, the Messiah, is working in the world today and is available to each of us and enables us to walk in overcoming victory.

The Bible is the written record of Christ's account of His birth, life, death and sufferings. Jesus then mentored and poured upon His disciples the miraculous gifts and divine influences of which many witnessed the effects. These effects included signs, wonders, miracles, dreams, visions, visitations, the audible voice of God affirming Christ as the Messiah. He was also the completion of major prophetic fulfillment such as the forth-telling from Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 61, as fulfilled by witnesses through Christ in Luke 4:18-21. Through the Savior, the ways of life are made known, and we as believers are encouraged to expect God's presence, His gifts and His favor forevermore.

Never forget that the purpose of all gifts is to lift up Jesus Christ, the giver of the gifts. Peter did that in his sermon at Pentecost as spoken in Acts 2:21, "And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."

The World is Craving for the Spiritual

Have you ever asked yourself why books about Harry Potter have exploded on the market? People want to know the realm of the supernatural. Christians must become the leaders in the supernatural realm.

One day while relating to an entire group of nurses in a hospital break room, the Lord had me share about my experience of dying, going to Heaven, and meeting my brother in person there, whom I had never seen before! There was not a dry eye in the crowd! They all wanted to know more about the "spirituality" of all this. Many had never gone to any church in their entire lives. Many just closed their eyes as we prayed a simple prayer to have that same Jesus come into their hearts and become their Savior. This should be a common occurrence.

Do not feel like a "spiritual dud" if you have not seen angels, visions or spiritual dreams. Once you posture your heart towards faith from believing God's Word about the supernatural, then you will have the access to ask God to increase these encounters in your life.

WARNING: If you ask for this believing, be ready, because you will see them all and much more! It is so exciting! This should be the most exciting time of the year for Christians to share about the real "gifts" from our Father that last more than a lifetime--they are forever!

Prophetic Messengers are on Assignment!

Here is a simple lesson that may help you:

Angels delivered messages to Mary and she obeyed as though the messages were from God. Today we are hearing more and more about God's present Heavenly messengers here on earthly assignments. The Greek word "aggelos" means a messenger, angel, one who is sent, a messenger from God. Aggelos is a messenger and has the same implication as a pastor, or one who delivers a message to people. Onar is the Greek word for a dream. Horama is the word for vision, meaning to see, to look at, to perceive, attend to or as to appear.

Acts 2:17, "Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams."

Prophesy has many early Greek and Hebrew word uses. In Acts 2:17, where Peter quoted the prophet Joel at the Day of Pentecost, it is basically speaking about "propheteuo," which is the word for foretelling and forth telling events prior to their occurrence. Propheteuo is derived from prophetes or an inspired foreteller as one who by divine inspiration foretells events. However, this is also the word that means a divine, speaker under inspiration as exercising the prophetic office. This is the word to prophesy.

Joel 2:28-29, "And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days."

The goal is that not all become an office of prophet, but that all may prophesy. This is NOT "spooky spiritual" stuff for these hours. We need much more of this according to the prophecy from Joel 2:28-29.

2008--A Year for increased Dreams, Angels and Visitations!

2008 is a year of a new birth and new gates! We are now about to see the gates of visitations from God's Heavenly messengers increase tremendously! We are about to partake of dreams and visions as never known! Get ready for an outpouring of signs, wonders and miracles as we have hoped for since they were prophesied! This is a year of increase in new visions! Get involved in this harvest time through all the outpourings of dreams, visions, visitations and angels on increased assignments. We are the carriers of this message to a very desperate world awaiting the greatest Gift on earth--Jesus Christ, the only Savior of the world!
