DO YOU BELIEVE THAT I CAN SUSTAIN YOU? - By Kimm Bemisdarfer

I would like share a vision that I received a few months ago. It seems that everyone I share this with is greatly encouraged after hearing it so maybe it is for the Church Body in general?

This happened the other day while I was participating in a prayer meeting. I suddenly remembered a story that I had read years ago; it just popped into my mind. Only this time I was the central character in the story.

In this vision that I was experiencing, I was standing in the open doorway of a large air liner that was flying at 30,000 feet. Everything looked so small as I stared down at the ground below. Then I heard the Lord's voice as He asked me a question, "Do you believe that I can sustain you?"

"Yes Lord!" I replied. "I believe you can sustain me."

"Then take a step forward." He said.

I just stared at the ground so far away and didn't move. The Lord again asked, "Do you believe that I can sustain you?"

"Yes, Lord!" I replied. "I believe you can sustain me."

Again He said, "Then take a step forward!"

Again I just stood there looking down at the ground.

Three times this happened and on the third time I determined to take that step. I opened my eyes afterward and saw the plane that I was riding in, just moments before, moving away as I was falling. Without looking down I instinctively blinked my eyes. When I next opened them I was standing on the ground.

What was the Lord trying to teach me in this impression? Answer: "Don't be afraid to take the next step because I will be there to sustain you!" To emphasize His point, that same week the Lord put $780 into my hands for no apparent reason. Four weeks later another $120; one week later $280; then another $100 showed up; then last Sunday $120 arrived.

Yes, I believe the Lord can 'continually' sustain me! (and I like the way He teaches too!)
