Dennis Cramer: THE LORD WOULD SAY, "IT'S TIME FOR COFFEE AND BAGELS!"

I simply love this word by Dennis Cramer! Not only did the title make me laugh, he mentions one of my favorite beverages--coffee! Although he wrote this word awhile back, it is very much a now word in season. Dennis writes below, "If you want to be shown honor and favor, you must first show honor and give favor where it is due."

God has been speaking to me also about giving "honor" where honor is due and showing honor to those the Lord honors. This is also a season where much honor will be restored to those who have been greatly dishonored. It will come in the form of many suddenlies and surprises--overnight.

The honor that God is restoring reminds me of the story of Joseph who was severely dishonored by his own family. And because of the severe dishonor he endured, God restored honor to him by making him second-in-command--overnight! So the same will happen for many of you!

May God's favor and honor be upon you as you sow honor into others!

A Debt Of Honor

The word of the Lord came loud and clear to me while itinerating to a number of churches. He revealed that I was about to enter a new "spiritual season." I then asked Him what was the "type or nature" of this new season. I was surprised at His answer. He said:

"I am about to take you into a season where you will be shown honor and favor as never before."

Of course I liked the sound of that! Who wouldn't? And I must tell you that this new season began immediately. It was full of honor and favor just as He promised and it was wonderful! God is good! However, the purpose of this "word in season" is to help you to enter this same season and to enter it now!

I want to give you a key to entering this new season as God has given me too. Here's the short and sweet of it--the Lord would say to you:

"If you want to be shown honor and be given favor, you must first show honor and you must first give favor where it is due."

So my question to you dear friend is this: Do you currently owe a debt of honor to anyone? Do you need to show favor to anyone?

You must first show genuine honor and give sincere favor to others, and then God will bestow the same back to you. I had to first show it and give it before I got it! The same is true for you. First you sow, and then you reap. It is a season for you to "sow" honor and favor. Your spiritual success depends on it! The ground is ready. Sow now!

"No Sir, It's On Me"

During one of my travel itineraries, I went to a local coffee shop the morning after a prophetic service which was held the night before. I approached the counter, gave my order to the waitress and waited for my coffee and bagel. Within a few minutes, she brought my order to my table and I handed her the money to pay for it. She said, "That's alright, it's on me."

I was sure she had mistaken me for another customer so I repeated my offer to pay for my breakfast. Again she refused the money and said, "No sir, it's on me." Then she continued, "I was in your prophetic meeting last night. I was amazed how God used you. I just want to thank you for your ministry and I just want to bless you. The coffee and bagel is on me."

I thanked her and as I walked out of the shop, I experienced a deep sense of joy. You would've thought I won the lottery! Yet, all I had was a free coffee and bagel. Clearly, something was going on inside of me. This joy I felt was more that just about a free breakfast. This is when I knew I was entering a new and wonderful season of increased honor and favor. And so can you!

Here's The Key! Sometimes You Just Need to Bless Someone!

Just a few days before the coffee and bagel blessing, my wife and I had made a huge financial decision. We felt that we were to bless (show favor and honor to) a ministry with a financial gift. But it wasn't just any ministry. We were led of the Lord to show this individual honor and favor--just for the purpose of blessing him, not for the purpose of getting something from him and not for the purpose of meeting a need he might have.

God told us to show this man honor and favor for all the years he was not shown honor and favor. My wife and I were to make up for the years he had served faithfully without being shown proper and full honor. We were to "pay" the debt of honor others had not paid him. We were both very honored to do it! Without hesitation, we sent him the financial gift. It was then this new season began. Do you get the connection?

Key: If you want to be shown honor and favor, you must first show honor and give favor where it is due.

Well, as soon as we had sowed honor and favor, we began to reap the same. Things really started to happen:

• First, it was a free coffee and bagel, the season had begun!

• Then, I received a much larger honorarium from the next church (1st) then I could have ever expected since they were struggling financially.

• Next, a businessman who attended the next night's service in yet another church (2nd) donated all the costs of a new computer system for my ministry--a substantial amount indeed!

• Then, the honorarium from the next church (3rd) was significantly more than we had agreed on.

• Then, the honorarium from the next church (4th) was significantly more than we had agreed upon.

• And again, the honorarium from the next church (5th) was significantly more than we had agreed upon.

The season continued....

• Then, our (Christian) dermatologist gave my wife her yearly check-up at no cost-a free visit.

• Then, another Christian businessman donated a significant amount of professional time and talent to developing my website.

• Then, the honorarium from the next church (6th) was significantly more than we had agreed upon.

I trust you get the point: We showed honor and were immediately immersed in honor! The same can happen to you. It is time for you to sow.

So, What Are You Going To Do?

Please, here the word of the Lord and give honor and show favor to that person (saved or unsaved) that the Lord speaks to you about. Don't do it to get anything in return--just do it to please God. I think I'll say that again: Just do it because it is the right (Biblical) thing to do!

I guarantee you this: If you will show honor and give favor during this particular season, it will come back on you.

So, get ready for your free coffee and bagel!
