That's why we've attached a health update from the Goll's as well as information about an exciting day coming up on September 22, 2007 called the Worldwide Day of Healing. Goll's Health Update

God is Good and His Mercies Endure Forever!

Michal Ann returned recently from her trip to the Oasis of Hope Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico for another week of alternative cancer treatment. We were all glad to see her get home. We all missed her a ton!

Kathy Colbert, Michal Ann's personal assistant (in the home during her time of recovery), accompanied her on this trip. Kathy has been a real blessing to our family and we are grateful to the Lord for her assistance.

The doctors at Oasis of Hope reviewed Michal Ann's scans and they believe that things are in a stable condition. Though the growths have increased some, they do not see new activity. She has a good deal of inflammation, but they believe this can be controlled. So their report was a good one and we are grateful to the Lord for this. The doctors at Oasis think that the growths that were in her brain had actually been growing over a period of time and were not some sudden quick thing.

Her radiation treatments this summer were successful and the small remaining growth in the right side of her brain no longer exists. So she does not need to have any more radiation treatments. We are grateful to the Lord whether the avenue of this healing was medical, prayer or a combination of both. Praise the Lord with us for this breakthrough!

Michal Ann also drove the car this past week for the first time in four months. This too, is a breakthrough. Small new hair follicles are beginning to come forth. She is excited to see what her hair will look like in a few months! Wow! Who knows, I might have a wife with curly dark hair!

Michal Ann is to continue to have scans done every three months and then send results to the doctors for review etc. So, she might not go back to Oasis of Hope for another six months. It all depends on how things develop. Continue to Pray for Strength and Complete Healing!

I (James) am supposed to have scans done again soon, followed by an evaluation. The insurance company is just not cooperating though, and they keep turning me down. I am supposed to have PET scans done every three months. I am at the mercy of the insurance industry and I am already three months late. So I have nothing new to report. Pray with me that this log-jam will be broken!

Worldwide Day of Healing

I also wanted to make you all aware that Saturday, September 22, 2007 is the Worldwide Day of Healing, hosted by Hunter Ministry. Joan Hunter, daughter of Charles and Francis Hunter, has become a personal friend and her ministry is the coordinator for this special day.
