GOD DOESN'T FORGET HIS PROMISES - AND WHAT PROFOUND PROMISES HE HAS MADE! - A prophetic story about Bob Jones and a faithful saint in Wales.--by Kathie Walters

I had been in North Wales, visiting from the U.S. earlier this year (1998.) I had been studying the Celtic Saints and I was thinking of taking some groups of people over to Wales and Ireland to pray. But as that is a lot of work, I wanted to try and get a confirmation about it.

When I returned to Georgia, I called Bob Jones and told him about my trip. He didn't seem that interested so I thought he was probably watching a football game on the TV (he won't mind me saying that, he's not pretentious). So I ended up saying, "Well do you have anything about my taking groups over to Wales ?"

"No", he said.

So I tried another thing, "Well do you have a word about anything?"

"No" he said.

So I got ready to get off the phone and let him watch his football or whatever. Just before I hung up, he said, "Wait a minute, do you know an old man over there? A man who has been in the ministry for a very long time?

"Yes" I said. I knew that could only mean Arthur Burt, whose house I had been in a few days before in North Wales. If you're not familiar with Arthur Burt, he has been in the ministry for about 50 years. He has a very unique and precious ministry.

"Well I have a word for that man, whoever he is."

So I asked him what the word was?

Bob continued, "This man received a prophetic word a very long time ago, he was with a group of people when the word came, and all those people have died, and there is only him left of that group. Tell him he will see the word".

I asked Bob what the word was, and he said he didn't know, but that the word my friend (Arthur) received, "Well, he would see it." Arthur is about 86 right now.

So of course I phoned Arthur Burt right away in Wales and asked him if he had received a prophetic word a long time ago that he was waiting on.

"Yes" he said, "I received a prophetic word many years ago. There was a group of people there when the word came, I can still hear it.

"What was the word Arthur? I asked.

Arthur continued, "All those people that were there are passed away, I am the only one left of that group."

"Arthur, what was the word ?" I asked

"I can hear it plain as anything" he said again.

"Arthur WHAT WAS THE WORD?"

Well this is the word that group received and Bob Jones gave a confirmation of, without knowing Arthur or anything about the situation regarding the word being given.

"THERE SHALL COME A BREATH AND THE BREATH SHALL BRING THE WIND AND THE WIND SHALL BRING THE RAIN AND THE RAIN SHALL BRING THE FLOODS AND FLOODS AND FLOODS AND THE FLOODS SHALL BRING THE TORRENTS AND TORRENTS AND TORRENTS. SO SHALL THEY BE SAVED LIKE FALLING LEAVES FROM THE MIGHTY OAKS SWEPT BY A HURRICANE IN A GREAT FOREST. ARMS AND LEGS SHALL COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN AND THERE SHALL BE NO EBB."
