GOD DECLARES YEARS AHEAD WHAT HE WILL DO
A prophetic story "From California to Texas - to the World"- By Steve Shultz

Back in 1984, (15 years ago) my wife, Derene and I had only one couple who were VERY close friends. Patrick and Claudia. They and us lived in Southern California. And they were seeking the Lord to the same degree and intensity we were. And to the same degree - we were all struggling to find our place and destinies in Him - without a lot of success, I might add.

One morning, before I'd even considered I could "be prophetic", the Lord gave me a dream. In this dream I "knew" Patrick and Claudia had moved to Texas and he was broadcasting at a Christian radio station. He was interested and had done this type of thing before but he wasn't currently doing it. Five years later, Patrick and Claudia were living in Texas and he was broadcasting at a Christian radio station.

During these years, the Lord had revealed to Patrick that he would have a 24 hour satellite Christian Broadcasting program - broadcasting PRAISE TO THE LORD. I tried to believe that but, after all, he was just my friend Patrick.

In 1990, I had a word for Patrick. I remember where I was sitting in his house when I prayed over him. Still, I wasn't very prophetic "yet" (smile). I told him, "I see you as a warrior, coming out of your tee pee, and giving a war cry and it's going out on telephone lines - and I see all the telephone poles." I had NO IDEA what that could mean. Neither did he. This was before anyone (that we knew) had ever heard the word, "Internet." I sure hadn't heard of it. I'd heard of a few email services but nothing was available to broadcast and no "normal mortal" was on the Internet.

Today, Patrick and Claudia have multiple outlets, broadcasting Praise and other Christian programming 24 hours a day, both ON SATELLITE and on the Internet (OVER THE TELEPHONE LINES!) - TO THE WHOLE WORLD! Isn't it great how God told us both years ahead of schedule, so we would KNOW it was HIM behind all of this.

Patrick and Claudia Rutherford do not know I'm writing this letter to you, but they will soon. I'm writing to you and asking you to do me a special favor. Derene and I love these two and their three children - as if they were our own family. They have been there for us for years! It's time to be there for them. (They are among the few I know who take the Gospel so seriously that they actually love those who many others don't). I learned much about how to love my own children by watching Patrick and Claudia love theirs.

Patrick can live on less than anyone I've ever known. He's more frugal and a better steward of his money than anyone I've ever known. But you know what? They broadcast PRAISE all over the world, yet they can't afford to own their own car. Please, would you do the following for Derene and me:

1) Seek the Lord on their behalf and if the Lord gives you a specific or encouraging Word for them, please email them and "lay it on them." They really need a Word from the Lord for their situation. Their email address is: pbn@onramp.net

2) Please, those who feel led to take up the cause, begin to intercede for Patrick and Claudia Rurtherford, their three children, and PRAISE BROADCASTING NETWORK, their program "Praise Until Dawn" and their other Christian Radio Venture, WORSHIP RADIO.

3) And I'm even asking you, if you feel so inclined, to donate toward their ministry, and/or even toward a car.
