4-Part Prophetic Word for Tokyo and Japan - Bev Klopp, Gateway Ministries International

In July of 1998, I called for a Daniel Fast for the Pacific Northwest and for Israel. The Daniel fast ended on August 1, and on that day (the 21st day/last day of the Daniel Fast) I received 3 separate encouraging prophetic words regarding God's heart and plan to reach Tokyo and, ultimately, Japan. The word was strategic for it came at the end of the Daniel fast much like for Daniel.

At the beginning of the fast in July, I had received a request from "Kairos" magazine, a Tokyo based publication associated with the Tokyo Revival Mission. They requested that I write a 3,000-word article on "Prayer for Reaching Cities," with the deadline being August 20th. During the fast, I spent time writing the article, but nothing came together. My heart cry became," Lord, honor the Daniel fast for Tokyo as well as the NW, USA, and Israel and give me clarity as to which materials to use for this article. On August 13th, two additional prophetic words came forth.

When the day of the magazine deadline arrived, we emailed the publisher, letting them know that I was sending a prophetic series of words given for Tokyo, asking them to submit them to the Tokyo pastors and leaders of the Revival Mission outreach for discernment. Within just a few days, we received an email back from the publisher stating that the magazine wanted to publish a portion of the prophetic word. They are, however, sending the entire word translated (3,700 words) to the leaders and churches who do embrace prophecy.

Please pray: that this prophetic word will prosper and be an encouragement and revival catalyst; and that God would show Himself mighty through the prophetic word as the church responds to their part.

To the holy remnant of Tokyo, the Church, and all those gathering for

the Tokyo Revival Mission:

Tokyo shall be the head and not the tail. (Duet 28:13)

TOKYO LIKE SHADRACH, MESHACH, AND ABED-NEGO

The Church in Tokyo shall be like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego: they shall go through the fires with The Son of God and come out without the smell of smoke on them. (Dan 3:19-30)

I will cause My breath to blow upon your city to counter the powers and principalities that have blown out the fires of revival that I have purposed.

I will send forth My "eagles and hawks" at this hour to bring down the birds of prey that have circled the city feeding upon the weak and dying. (Is. 40:29-31)

BUDDHA SHALL BE TOPPLED FROM HIS THRONE IN THIS CITY

Buddha shall be toppled from his throne in this city. The power of intercession shall punch the stomach of Buddha, deflating his "very life source."

The symbolic spirit of strength, loyalty and sacrifice represented in the Sumo wrestler and Samurai warrior shall arise in the intercessors to take down the powers that have wrestled and warred over your city. Great faith shall be poured out upon God's warriors for this hour. Mighty feats and acts of bravery shall spring forth in their hearts.

You shall step forth and align for war under the banner of the Commander-In- Chief, the Captain of the Host. Your swords will glisten in the sun as you raise them in preparation for the battle ahead. The Anointing oil from heaven shall cover soldiers and swords alike on that day. You will rally and prepare to move forward. With sword in one hand, you will cross your other hand over your heart as a sign of your intent and commitment to the Almighty God to finish the work He is sending you forth to accomplish. As you kneel together with bowed heads, God will commission you as warriors to fulfill your mission of intercession, pulling down the strongholds that have prevailed for centuries in your ancestors from generation to generation. (2 Cor. 10:4)

ANCIENT TRADITIONS WILL BOW TO THE KING OF KINGS

Ancient traditions will bow the knee to the King of Kings. Wisdom will be imparted to your leaders as they call for the troops to enter the war and march forth. Battle plans will be given. Your swords will be so sharp and precise as to split a hair. (Heb 4:12)

Mercy will flow from your tongues, cutting away the demonic overgrowth of fears and deception. Loving compassion will overflow your souls, with the oil of gladness anointing you and pouring out upon the streets as you go. Hearts will sovereignly bow to the Lord, openly bowing before the manifestations of God's loving mercy flowing through His people. The icy hardened hearts will melt in the presence of God's warmth, displayed through loving acts of compassion in His mighty warriors. (Luke 6:20-39)

THE CROSS WILL BE A SIGN

The CROSS displayed over your breastplates and hearts will be a sign to the powers of darkness that God's army has arisen to take the land. Bravery and courage will mark the teams as they lay down their lives and pick up the assignments of the Almighty God who is in their midst.

Be of good cheer for I have overcome the world. I have OVERCOME every obstacle you will face in your path. (John 16:33; 1John 2:13-14, 5:1-5) Speak the word of faith and prophesy to the wind, for it will obey. Be undaunted as you move forth under My anointing. Mountains will move aside and hindrances will be cast away. (Mark 11:22-26) The "Highway of Holiness" will be established as you march upon the streets of "My City." Declare it by name: Tokyo, (like Jerusalem) the city called by My Name - "The City of the Lord." (Is. 60:14) It is a city set apart for such a time as this; called to proclaim My glory to the nations, to capture the hearts of My people of Japan, chosen and called out from the darkness into the light.

A RAINBOW WILL APPEAR IN THE SKY

My glory will rise over this city and My anointing will fall like raindrops from heaven. Righteousness will spring up from the earth and the blood guiltiness on the land will be washed away. (Is 45:8; Joel 3:21) Torrents of My cleansing water, like a rushing river, will wash the streets and flow into the gutters to purify the defilement upon the land. This will happen first in the natural as a sign of My coming spiritual cleansing. A rainbow will appear in the sky as a sign that the Ark of the Covenant (the Holy Presence and Glory of the Lord with His salvation) shall be placed over this city.

The heavenly vision that God places in your hearts as leaders and intercessors will be the catalyst for revival and the "food" for intercession. The anointing will go out upon the streets, causing you to catch the wave of the Holy Spirit and to "surf the turf" with awesome ease under the power of the Holy Spirit.

TOKYO -- A LIGHT TO THE WORLD

I, the Lord, come to bind up the broken hearted and to set the captives free through My people, for the Spirit of the Lord is upon you... (Lk. 4:18-19, Is. 61)

I come to bring the Good News to this nation - Tokyo shall be like a light to the world, a city that is set on a hill and cannot be hidden (Matt 5:14-15)

Out from her loins will spring the laborers who will go into the harvest fields of Japan. She shall lift her holy hands to Me and I will listen. I will hear the cry of My people as they unite in Tokyo for prayer. Their hearts will quickly turn to Me en mass, in corporate one accord, and I will pour out My Spirit upon them. Like the upper room, you shall see My power in your midst. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2)

BE UNAFRAID-- MOVE OUT TWO BY TWO

Dust off your feet and prepare to move out, two by two across the land. Preach the gospel with fierce boldness. Cast down the enemy wherever you go. Establish boundaries and perimeters and take the land given to you. (Acts 4:24-33) "And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. And they spoke the word of God with boldness." (vs. 31)

Be unafraid for I am with you. I will never leave or forsake you.

By wisdom, a city can be won. Seek My face for you shall receive the wisdom needed to reach your city and the cities of your nation. (Eccl. 9:14-18; James 1:5-8)

I will captivate the hearts of My people in Tokyo. They shall lay before Me in prayer and fasting and I will birth My vision in their hearts as they obey. Lay prostrate before Me until you hear the sure word of the Lord. Like for Esther and Mordecai, I will listen and deliver the multitudes into your hands.

CAST DOWN UNRIGHTEOUS TRADITIONS

Oh, My people, do not doubt Me. Give ear to My words and heed My commandments. Walk carefully before Me as one would walk over hot coals, for the fires of hell desire to ignite to consume you. Cast down the unrighteous traditions of your people that would give fuel to these fires. Take your swords and cut away the old ways. Raise up a new standard and bring it before the people of Japan. For surely

goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. (Ps. 23)

Divide into divisions like an army. Cast off any restraints and the sin that so easily besets you, and covenant together to reach your assigned area. Give no heed to the voices of dissention against you for they are not from Me. (Heb. 12:1, Titus 3:9-11, Phil. 2:12-15, Acts 15:2)

I will encourage you and strengthen you. I will give you peace in the midst of difficulties. I will come to visit you in the night watch to build your strength and give you spiritual nourishment for each day. (Phil. 4:6-7)

MARCH AS AN ARMY

March together as an army looking neither to the left or right - except when your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "this is the way, walk in it." Follow those in command and keep focused on your assignment. I will marshal an army that will astound the nations.

Make no room for the enemy in your ranks through infiltration. Discern the times and move at the commands of the Lord of Hosts. Light afflictions will come, but I overcome all that would try to overcome you. Keep your eyes on Me -- the author and finisher of your faith (2 Cor. 4:16-18, 1 Pet. 4:12-19, Heb. 12:2-11)

Mark this day on your calendar, for the countdown has begun. Together we will make war in the heavenlies. Together we will bring down the powers and principalities. We shall speak to the powers and they shall obey. Together we shall consume the dross.

TOKYO -- MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT

Make straight the way of the Lord. Together we shall be victorious. (Is. 40:3-5, Lk. 11:14-28, Eph. 6) My hand is mightily upon you, Oh people of Tokyo. My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. (2 Cor. 12:9-10)

Fast and pray all along the way, for mighty exploits will you do in My name.

Mark off on your calendar the seasons and the days for your campaigns. Set in motion the strategies I give you. Make haste, for the days are evil and the time is now. Call for the mighty men and women. Enlist the troops and set forth the battle plan.

Occupy until I come! (Lk. 19:13) Occupy literally means "to do business with;" an aggressive term of action.

SOUND AN ALARM--A HORDE OF LOCUST IS BEING SENT BY THE ENEMY

Sound an alarm. A horde of locust is being sent by the enemy - it is not from Me. A wall of resistance must be set in motion. A wall of prayer must be raised up in "a day" to counter this attack. Push back the enemy with united, corporate intercession. Lay siege and counter the enemy's plans. You will bring them down in "a day." Corral every demonic host that has been loosed, for He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world, commanding this horde of evil. (1 John 4:4)

You are a people born for such a time as this. Together we will yield our swords to bring down this assignment. Be holy as I am Holy, for on this day I will turn My face toward you and listen. I will usher in the things you pray on behalf of the Japanese people. A holy hush will come over you as I rise up to command the powers over you. You will worship Me at that hour, for you will know that I am God and that I will deliver you from the hand of the enemy. You are born for such a time as this, to usher in My will for the nation.

Count it all joy when you face various trials. " count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience (perseverance). But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." (James 1:2-4)

Make haste to obey.

MANY VOICES -- BUT LISTEN ONLY TO MY VOICE

The hourglass has been set upright and I am giving you the time to bring this nation to repentance. A cacophony of voices will be heard; listen only to My Voice - all else is like sinking sand.

Set a seal over your heart and purpose in your heart to obey. I will raise My Voice over this nation and call it to its knees. For you are, " a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light " set apart for such a time as this. (1 Peter 2:9) Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flows the issues of life. (Prov. 4)

Make way for the King is coming in His full array. Rise up now my little ones. Together you shall see My Glory ushered in upon the land. Be not afraid for I have all things under My command.

The streams of living water within My people shall come together like a mighty river, overcoming all that is in the way. From My throne shall flow the river of the water of life to unite with yours. Together we shall become One. Out from this will spring the healing of the nation(s). (Rev. 22:1-2, Ex. 47:1-12, John 17)

Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty. Like Jerusalem, many shall stream to this place and be healed. Salvation is unto the Lord.

THE FINGER OF GOD WILL BRING DOWN THE LOCUST

#4 Prophetic Strategy for Tokyo Received by Bev Klopp: August 13, 1998

Sound the alarm over Tokyo. I will bring down this "horde of locust" and its commander. By the "finger of God," it shall be brought down. (Lk. 11:14-26)

"You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you. Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you. " (Lev. 26:7-8)

UNITE IN PRAYER AND STRATEGY

Unite in prayer and prepare for battle Assign the army according to divisions Circle the city on all sides Set watchmen on the walls to look out in all directions (Is. 62:6-7) Assign "trumpeters," and gather at the place of need when the trumpet sounds. Establish communication lines so the sound is clear to all who are to gather.

Begin to echo the Word of God over the city - Declare God's Word, believing, " It shall not return to Me void. But it shall accomplish what {He} pleases " (Is. 55:11) and declare God's Will, such as He "desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Tim. 2:4) Establish God's words and scriptures for the city, so there is unity in the declarations! Be steadfast in the declarations, for the powers of darkness will begin to tremble and weaken.

24-HOUR WATCH NEEDED-- BOMBARD HEAVEN'S GATES

Establish a 24-hour prayer watch. Bombard heaven's gates until the answers begin to come. Do not let up, but increase the importunity of your prayer until the doors open. "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you {for} your Father who is in heaven {will} give good things to those who ask Him." (Matt. 7:7-11) Do not come down from the wall, as the distractions and orders come from those outside the ranks. Listen to those in command as they too listen to the Commander and Chief.

While you are unifying and setting the prayer watch in motion, the Church should sidetrack the enemy with acts of love, prayers of compassion, and words of forgiveness. A solid front of continuous bombardment in those areas against the enemy must take place. Be undaunted until there is breakthrough on earth as it is purposed in heaven. Then, maintain and never stop moving in this way.

" walk worthy of the calling with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." (Eph. 4:1-3)

BUT LOVE YOUR ENEMIES

"But I say to you who hear 'Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.'" (Lk. 6:27-28)

Wash the sins of your city with the Word of God. Day and night wash the city. Seek forgiveness of her corporate sins and plead for God's mercy until He hears and answers you with a Word - "this is the way, walk in it."

TIME TO SERVE AN EVICTION NOTICE

Bind the strongman and continue to pray in all the previous ways. Prepare to serve a "Notice of Eviction" to the powers of darkness. Let there be agreement among the leaders and troops alike. One may speak and command, but all shall agree.

Stand firm on that day and do not lessen the prayers, declarations, and godly actions. Increase these things as you increase the numbers of troops enlisted in the battle.

Make haste to seal the borders and declare that the land belongs to the Lord!

EACH NEIGHBORHOOD ASSIGNED

Assign the troops to each neighborhood and maintain a constant vigilance in prayer. Bring the people to repentance as the Spirit of the Lord begins to move upon hearts. Cover them with daily prayer until whole families yield to the Lord in salvation. Establish them in the Word and guard them from the enemy's attacks. Strengthen them until they are able to stand. Close off the strongholds in each family. Bring them to further repentance as they are being sanctified unto the Lord. Waste no time in this process for the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, at this time, seeking to overcome the weak and unholy. (1 Pet. 5:8-10)

Begin the discipleship process with baptisms and the Lord's supper. Teach them the holiness of the Lord and His commands.

ADMONISH AGAINST DIVISIVENESS

Corner those who are disruptive and divisive - admonish them quickly and bring them to repentance. Let nothing raise its head against the holiness of God, for they must "Be Holy as I am Holy." Make no provision for the flesh.

Keep the cycle going. Do not stop the process, but increase the vigilance as more come into the Kingdom, for the enemy continues to prowl.

Wise counsel must be continuously sought, both from the Lord and those placed in leadership. Continue to build the army and keep the momentum going among the different ranks. Gather often to encourage one another. Amass the entire army (the Church) at times for refreshment and to worship the Lord as one. Greater works will come out of these gatherings. Directions should be given to maintain the unity of the vision for the city.

INTO THE STREETS IN LARGE NUMBERS

Workers for the harvest must move upon the streets in greater numbers. Assignments may be given so it is not just random outreach but strategic in purpose. Every highway and byway must be targeted. Move swiftly throughout the city with the Word of God. Saturate every home. Pour your life into the life of the people. Heal the sick, bind up the broken-hearted, set the captives free (Luke 4:18; Acts 26-17-18).

Set a search light, a beacon, over the city, calling everyone to prayer - from the least to the greatest.

THE BLOOD OVER THE BUSINESSES

Seal the doorways of businesses with the blood of Christ and begin to declare the unrighteous mammon to be released to the faithful. Seek the forgiveness of those in bondage and pray systematically for their salvation. Include all the gates of the city whereby the enemy has entered. Leave nothing undone/untouched. Pray for those in authority and for all people by name and area of influence. Keep a constant vigilance here until you see the walls that divide them from the Lord crack and crumble. Be fearless as you wage war over every section of your city.

Mark the places of worship and cover them with continuous prayer. Wage war as the Holy Spirit gives revelation and insight into Satan's strategies. Lay down your denominational and ministry differences. Pray for one another with great love and compassion, for the Church of the city. Determine to allow no division or accusations to enter your heart. Keep the "record" clean with one another and let love cover the multitude of sins Wash one another's feet and plead for mercy until all who have wandered come to repentance.

OBEDIENCE BETTER THAN SACRIFICE

Obedience is better than sacrifice. A religious spirit cannot thrive in holy ground that is washed by the blood and obedient to the will of God.

Man's ways lead to striving. God's ways lead to fruitfulness and victory. Do not cross over in your walk.

Maintain sexual purity before, and in, your marriage. Renounce all impurity and commit to holiness in all relationships and with God. (Book of Ephesians)

Keep covenant with God and one another.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind love your neighbor as yourself." (Matt. 22:37-39)

"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." (John 15:13)
