MANY NATIONS, ONE VOICE! - WHAT GOD IS SAYING AND DOING IN KANSAS CITY REGARDING NATIVE PEOPLES. (FIRST NATIONS PEOPLE)

April 8 and 9, Hosted by Wiconi International and Kevin Prosch

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST--THIS IS MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY ABOUT NATIVE AMERICAN --AND FIRST NATIONS PEOPLE RECONCILIATION.
From Steve Shultz, The Elijah List ---

A few years ago, I was in one of the "dryest" places I have ever been in. I was at a pre-Promise Keepers event, but I had no desire to be there. I was not in a good place. During a break, with all these men, I walked around the church and I said to the Lord--- "Please break through here, Lord. I need a Damascus Road experience!! I'm so dry. I don't even feel love for these men."

I went back in----dry as ever. Richard Twiss--a Native American (who I'd never heard speak before) was scheduled for this time slot and he began to speak about Native American Issues and how the white man has not kept his treaties with them. This was NOT my issue. Ever. That was then, but this was now. I had not committed these atrocities so I'd not become at all involved with this issue. I never really thought about it.

But as Richard Twiss talked with such humility, tears began to emerge from nowhere. What was going on? I began to feel intense sorrow for what "WE" had done to the Native American. But why? Where was this coming from? As Richard continued, I was running out of Kleenex. And I eventually ran completely out (and I usually carry a lot). I became a sniveling idiot, completely identifying with the sins of my forefathers on behalf of the Native Peoples of America.

When Richard was finished, men who felt identification with the white mans' sins were called up by the person in charge-- to repent on behalf of America (There were maybe 15 of us, give or take.) I couldn't get up there fast enough. I'm not that much of a "hugger" of other men, yet I couldn't get my arms around Richard's neck fast enough. I stood there and sobbed and sobbed into Richard's neck and heard myself saying over and over, "I'm sorry,. I'm sorry, I'm sorry."--as I wept, almost uncontrollably.

This has been one of the more profound experiences of my entire life! I am not exaggerating here. Out of "left field," God answered my prayer and gave me that Damascus Road encounter I had just asked him for. But I had no idea it would come in THIS package--! More than that--- a few months later, at a "March for Jesus" rally in Portland, Oregon--- I was at least 100 yards away as Richard Twiss began to speak again to the crowds--- with humility and love towards the "white man" regarding this same issue (for which he is greatly anointed).

Even from that distance, just hearing his voice--I began to weep again---just hearing him speak. I have never told this entire experience to Richard before, and if he reads this, he will be "hearing it" for the first time, when you read it. I honestly believe that Richard Twiss has no idea of the level of anointing that is on his life regarding reconciliation of the First Nations People (Native Americans, etc) with those who settled "later" in the land. I would say that Richard's anointing is profound--to completely understate it.

He is only ONE of the speakers at this event in Kansas City. I have not personally heard the others speak, but I would go if I could--if only to hear Richard himself. Not for his profound speaking ability (though I think he is a very very good speaker), but for the intense anointing and the Heart of God that the Lord has put on his life for reconciliation between the white man and the Native Peoples.--Richard is a true "repairer of the breach!!"

If you have the opportunity to go to Kansas City to attend this event, and/or to intercede and repent on behalf of America for the "Trail of Tears" the white man (our forefathers) left behind these precious people,---- please do. You will only be richer for it.

MANY NATIONS -- ONE VOICE April 8 and 9 Kansas City Written by Richard Twiss From: Wanbli@aol.com

For Five Hundred years the Church has been missing the grace, wisdom and blessing of the Host People of the land. Today, many are proclaiming that Native American people will play a significant role in God's redemptive purposes for the nations. Many Nations - One Voice, is a call to the Church to come and join with their First Nations brethren for a time of worship, teaching, and prophetic ministry utilizing the redemptive cultural expressions of the Host People.

Kevin Prosch with his band will lead the evening worship times in partnership with 120 Native drummers, numerous dancers, musicians, and singers. Kevin has written and recorded many songs that are a great blessing to the Body of Christ and are sung in churches around the world. In addition Kevin has a love and great respect for Indigenous people and their sounds.

Wiconi International was founded by Richard Twiss, a Lakota/Sioux. Richard is a national conference speaker for Promise Keepers, author, teacher, and believes that in modern missions, no other people group is so uniquely positioned for world evangelization as First Nations people are today. He is committed to the reality that the next millennium will witness the emergence of Indigenous peoples into their redemptive destinies among the nations.

During the days some of the most respected and anointed Native leaders in the land will teach on; Native prophecy foretelling the coming of the Gospel; Why the Church in North America suffers from the absence of the Native cultural expression of Jesus Christ; What are the distinct contributions First Nations people have to make in the spiritual life of the Church today? How Native people are a key to healing of the land; How to reconcile the wounds of the past with First Nations people; Releasing Native people into their God-given place in the Body of Christ.
