THE DOVE, THE CROSS, THE CHRIST, THE FATHER

My husband and I were taking a drive on Saturday and as we wove along the rugged Ayrshire coastline, I was struck by the harsh color of the sea and it's violent crashing against our car. The wind whipped around us and the sky was grey and ominous looking. I looked up and saw a lone seagull, battling against the elements. It seemed to hover in mid-air, unable to move forward because of the force of the opposing wind.

STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE, THEY WERE THROWING STONES AT THE DOVE

Into this scene the Holy Spirit came with a very profound image. I looked once more at the rugged waves and I could see men and women who were struggling to stay afloat in the stormy waters. They were drowning in the fierce torrents, yet I noticed they had stones in their hands. Even as they struggled for their very existence, these people were still managing to throw stones. They were not throwing stones at each other but at the sky.

I looked up to the sky line and I saw a beautiful Dove appear, which I knew to be the Spirit of the Lord. The stones were hitting the Dove as it hovered above those who were drowning. It would not move away from those whose sought to inflict great damage upon it. I watched with tears in my eyes as Blood began to pour from many wounds inflicted upon the Dove. It began as a trickle and as it flowed the sea turned from grey, to pink to red. It was bombarded from every side by stones which pierced its flesh, yet it would not turn from them.

THE DOVE WAS BLEEDING

I saw some of the people in the sea began to realise the Dove was bleeding and they turned from their wickedness. They threw away the stones and reached out in deep repentance and the moment their arms were outstretched, they were rescued from the stormy waters that would have otherwise claimed their lives. Yet there were others who continued to throw the stones.

The Dove began to change before my very eyes. As the blood flowed from its wounds, the form of the cross appeared behind it and the Dove and the cross became One. The wings of the Dove were nailed to the cross, and as the Dove raised its head I saw the face of our Lord Jesus Christ as He was crucified upon the cross. The Spirit and the Son were in perfect unison and the Father's hand entered the vision and lifted His Son upon the cross very tenderly Heavenwards.

And I heard these words "Embrace My Spirit" and the vision ended.

INTERPRETATION

I believe that the stormy ocean in the vision represents the trials, tribulations and persecutions that the enemy sends upon the earth. I got the strong impression that those who were drowning represented modern day Pharisees, i.e. those bound in "religion" and not free to move in "faith". These people could see the Dove but would not embrace Him, instead they chose to persecute and abuse Him. The Dove in the vision represents the Spirit of God. The stones thrown by those in the sea represent disbelief and denial of the Spirit. This inflicts tremendous pain on the Trinity (represented by the bleeding wounds). The Lord went to great pains to show me that the Trinity exist as one - Father, Son and Holy Ghost (the Dove, the Cross, the Christ, the Hand of the Father) and that the Blood brought deliverance and mercy (to those who repented and were lifted from the sea).

"EMBRACE MY SPIRIT"

The final words "Embrace My Spirit" - are a word to the Body of Christ - a pure and simple message - we must embrace the Spirit of the Lord, to ignore Him will bring great pain to Father, Son and Spirit and will cause us to perish.

Father, forgive us when we ignore your Precious Spirit. We ask for mercy and revelation to embrace your Spirit and not just Your Son. Teach us how to hear from Heaven, to walk in your Ways, to flow in Your Wisdom and Compassion, to be intimate with Your Spirit and to understand that He does not speak on His own authority, but on Yours. Amen.
