"President Bush Proclaims January 16th as: RELIGIOUS FREEDOM DAY, 2007"
 From the desk of Steve Shultz:
Prophetically--i.e., Biblically, those who
reigned in their country and made every attempt they could to call their nation
to both prayer and the freedom to worship God, have blessed their nation for
generations to come.
In the USA, we are not a Theocracy, and thus, we have religious freedom--and for
followers of Christ, that means freedom to privately and publicly worship our
Creator. Others, the same.
Please remember to pray for President and Mrs. George W. Bush, their children,
and their generational line. No president or leader is perfect. No one makes
every decision 100% correct--100% of the time.
But we must pray for those in authority--and that means ALL in authority,
whether we agree with each and every decision or not. With God, it makes no
difference. He simply states that we should pray for ALL those in authority. So
for Believers in Jesus, this means Presidents of nations; and in the USA, it
includes ALL congressmen and senators, men and women, regardless of ethnicity
and regardless of political affiliation. They are those who carry authority, and
if they carry authority, our command from Heaven is to pray for them, so that we
may live "peaceful and quiet lives in all Godliness and holiness!"
So again, just as this PROCLAMATION is decreed by our president, let us not
forget to pray--NOT only for our president, but for ALL in authority in every
nation on earth. It's in the Bible, after all:
1 Timothy 2:1-5, "I urge, then, first of all, that
requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone--for kings
and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all
Godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all
men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God
and One mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

President of the United States of America"
 On
Religious Freedom Day, we commemorate the passage of the 1786 Virginia Statute
for Religious Freedom, authored by Thomas Jefferson, and we celebrate the First
Amendment's protection of religious freedom.
Across the centuries, people have come to America seeking to worship the
Almighty freely. Today, our citizens profess many different faiths, and we
welcome every religion. Yet people in many countries live without the freedom to
worship as they choose and some face persecution for their beliefs. My
Administration is working with our friends and allies around the globe to
advance common values and spread the blessings of liberty to every corner of the
world.
Freedom is a gift from the Almighty,
written in the heart and soul of every man, woman, and child, and we must
continue to promote the importance of religious freedom at home and abroad.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, by
virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United
States, do hereby proclaim January 16, 2007, as Religious Freedom Day.
I call on all Americans to reflect on the great blessing of religious liberty,
endeavor to preserve this freedom for future generations, and commemorate this
day with appropriate events and activities in their schools, places of worship,
neighborhoods, and homes.

Hicks: "OPERATION: DIVINE CONCEALMENT--BE WISE AS SERPENTS AND GENTLE AS
DOVES"
"Lions, put your sheep
clothes on! It's time to go undercover."
 On January 6, 2007, I heard the Lord say,
"Tell My people, it's
time to go undercover."
Me being someone, who doesn't always "get it", I responded, "Huh, what? I think I
know what you mean, but just in case, what do you mean Lord?"
He began to show me the following, and I feel it's important for such a "new
time" as this--Spiritual Warfare is not fighting for our God and the Kingdom,
but rather, it's God fighting for us--through us!
Our enemy, satan, steals everything--he doesn't own anything. Everything he has,
he stole, even ideas and plans. If we study our enemy a little bit, we can see
he stole ideas and plans that should be ours, which we need to take
back and use!
In case you haven't noticed, the enemy is always undercover, and he's always in
disguise. Yes, his motive is deception, but ours is truth and life.
Esther went undercover to bring truth and life to save God's people. Jesus came undercover
so much, that when He was
asked to perform the first miracle, He told His own mother,
"Woman, My time has
not come yet." (John 2:4)
Lions of God--Put Your Sheep Clothes On!
Have you ever heard or used the term, "You gotta' watch out for the small quiet
folks; they're the ones that you don't mess with." That statement is true.
There are too many big lions running around the battlefield, and satan sees
every move and knows exactly what's coming his way.
 "Where are all the small
quiet sheep? Ha! Lions, put your sheep clothes on! It's time to go undercover."
The enemy will not know what's coming at him. He will let the quiet little
sheep in his camp, because he thinks he will, in turn, devour them. But what he
doesn't know is--there's a lion under those sheep clothes!
Lions of God--put your
sheep clothes on, and let's head to the enemy's camp. We can't just sing about it
any longer. It's time to go undercover, so we can actually get in there and take
back what was stolen.
The Slain Lamb is Really a Living Lion!
In John's revelation, he wept because he thought no one was worthy to open the
scrolls, and an angel said to him, "Behold, The Lion of
the Tribe of Judah has prevailed to open the scroll." (Revelation 5:5)
John turned around and looked at the throne, and he saw a
"Lamb." The angel saw a
Lion, but John saw a Lamb. The time is here for us to walk this earth as Lions
in Lamb's clothing!
 Operation: "Divine Concealment" has come to the church.
It's Time to Shift to Offense
It's time to shift into offense--the means and tactics used in attempting to
score.
The enemy has had the ball long enough! It's
our turn, and we are to be, "Wise as serpents and
gentle as doves" (Matthew 10:16). Think how
effective we will be when we lineup with that command and be gentle as doves, but
wise as that old serpent, satan. His wise strategy is concealment of his
identity. He is always undercover! If we could just think about that for a
minute...
Let's find ways in our own lives to remain as gentle as a dove, but take
back the strategy of being undercover, then the enemy wouldn't be able to see what
is
truly coming. The time of defense is over. Our enemy is serious about what he is
doing, and now is the time for offense! Lions of God, put your sheep clothes on!
Sheep are soft. You can bump into them and be absorbed. You can rub them wrong,
and they remain a cushion. Can you hear that? Sheep are absorbent to all
things that run into them! They are not hard, and they don't hurt things when they run into
them. They provide warmth, cushion, and comfort. The sheep's clothes are for those
around you in your life. And the Lion underneath is to destroy the enemy in your
life, as well as in the lives of those around you.
We are Called to
Those in the World
"Holiness is the divine
God-given ability to be around sin, but not be affected by it, nor partake of
it."
I love and condone transparency. I try to be a transparent person, as many of us
do. We love people and life, but now is the time for us to adopt the strategic
plans of the "Kingdom Warrior" and go undercover! We can't separate ourselves from
people, we are called, anointed, and told to come out from among the world.
God is referring to sin in this direction. Jesus doesn't want us taken out of
the world, He just told us to not be "of" the world.
(John 17:14-15)
Scripture says that the shepherds were in the field by night
(Luke 2:8). We are
called to this field we call "the world." Holiness is not necessarily a perfect look,
like standing
up tall with nice clothes on. Holiness is the divine God-given ability to be around
sin, but not be affected by it, nor partake of it. With that said, it's time for
a divine concealment where the enemy can't see us coming!
When they came to
arrest Jesus in the garden (even after all the fame from the miracles that Jesus
did), they had to send someone that walked with Him everyday to point Him out!
They paid Judas to do this, otherwise they wouldn't have known which of these
guys in the garden was Jesus. (Matthew 26:47-56)
There was a Day when a Lion in Sheep's Clothing
Entered the Enemy's Camp
 Jesus allowed
Himself to be crucified on the cross for us, like a helpless
slain lamb. The enemy watched in delight, proud of his "victory" in defeating this
"Lamb"...so he thought. I wonder what satan thought when Jesus took His last breath, and His
sheep clothes came off?
The LION came out and kicked in the gates of the
enemy's camp and took the keys from him--blindsiding his own plot! An
undercover Lion just crumpled satan's entire kingdom of darkness, and took back the
keys of death, hell, and the grave.
As I said above, I'll say again, "Come on,
let's head to the enemy's camp, and not just sing about it any longer, but lets go
undercover." Satan will let us in as quiet little sheep, then we can actually get
in there. Our sheep clothes come off, and the lions rise up to take
back what is ours--just like Jesus did.
It's time to go into undercover mode. Its time for operation Divine Concealment.
Lions of God--GET YOUR SHEEP CLOTHES ON!
