Cindy McGill: "A SEASON OF CLARITY AND VISION IS UPON US"

OUR FOUNDATION OF HOPE IS JESUS

"A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn, fall on your knees, oh hear the angel voices, oh night divine, oh night when Christ was born."

These words rang in my spirit as God began to speak to me about the hope that is before us and within us.

When we see night, we are assured of a new morning that follows. Morning is coming and with it is new light for new days. Things become clearer and paths are defined when light is present, and disappointment and discouragement begins to fade away.

God is revealing a new hope and a future for us if we have our anchor in Him. The world will never satisfy us. Any happiness we find in circumstances and what the world can offer is temporary at best.

But in Jesus, is a foundation that is solid, unmovable, and filled with hope, and His foundation is unchanging. There are two foundation stones to stand on to keep us balanced as we enter into this new year. The first and second commandment--Love the Lord and love each other.

GOD CAN FIX US

"Jesus is the answer to every life path."

Without Christ, we are virtually powerless at fixing ourselves or our circumstances. Oh, there are wise choices we can make that will relieve certain pressures, but ultimately, God is our "fixer" and the "fixer" of our lives, families, and circumstances. We must learn to see Jesus as Lord in EVERY situation life offers. In doing so, Jesus reveals Himself in a new way that we haven't seen in Him before, and He becomes Lord there.

Jesus IS the answer to every life path, and He offers us counsel, comfort, joy, peace, understanding, and strength to make it through. He is AT WORK on our behalf. We might not see it, but He is "fixing" things that pertain to us, our circumstances, and our well being, when we call on Him.

Jeremiah 29:11 says that we are assured of God's intention and ability to keep us on the right path and of the HOPE that is in our future. His plans are to prosper us and give us a future and hope. THAT IS A SURE PROMISE WITH A GUARANTEE OF FULFILLMENT.

Today is designed to get us ready for tomorrow. There is also a promise about our children in Jeremiah 31:16-17 which says, "Thus says the LORD, 'Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears; for your work will be rewarded,' declares the LORD, 'and they will return from the land of the enemy. There is hope in your future,' declares the LORD, 'and your children will return to their own territory.'"

JESUS SAID, "I AM THE LIGHT"

"Present pressures and disappointments fade away when light is shed on our situations."

This is a season of clarity of vision. What has seemed out of focus is now coming into focus. God is streamlining our walk and purpose for this season of "extravagance" and destiny in God. We have the LIGHT OF LIFE to guide us.

We must know His light in order to tell others about it. In His light, we see LIGHT. Darkness doesn't have a chance when Light is present. Present pressures and disappointments fade away when light is shed on our situations. Hidden things are exposed, and we can see clearly what the truth is. The Holy Spirit leads us and guides us into ALL truth, and the truth sets people free. We have freedom from lies, deception, hurt, pain, and everything that would try and discourage us and steal our hope.

The truth is, if God is for us then NONE can be against us. God actually causes men to be at peace with us, and His favor gives us favor with men. This is true LIGHT; that we see God the way He really is and don't fall into believing false things and ideas. God fully intends to intervene in our lives, but we must let Him and not take matters into our own hands.

THE PREPARATION HAS BEGUN

"We are compelled to move out in perfect love."

God is getting all of us ready for the greatest work yet. We feel a refining going on in us. Sometimes it hurts and we are reluctant to give up certain things, but we know we must if we are to be fully effective in this season. There will be unusual and powerful displays of His presence and power for the assignment He has given us to do.

Evangelists of today are arising with a tenacity and passion that drives them to push through barriers, overcoming anything that would stand in the way of seeing the Great commission accomplished. These "fishers of men" live on the edge and are not afraid to enter into arenas where God is directing them to go. These are God-focused soldiers with a developed listening skill that gives them the ability to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd and not listen to other voices.

We are compelled to move out in perfect love that casts out fear. We can possess the same compassion that motivated Jesus to heal hurting people and deliver them from the oppression of the devil.

THE SPECTATOR SECTION IS "CLOSED"

"New emerging leaders will lead armies of people with boldness and humility."

Everybody will participate in this harvest. Diverse giftings, personalities, skills, and anointings will direct this massive army into every walk of life. From streets, marketplaces, media, sports, and politics, God is opening unbelievable doors and ushering in those who He has appointed to redefine the status quo.

We will be occupying the place we are planted and releasing God's presence that changes everything. Keeping our eye single and fixed on our Redeemer, we will continue to release the standard and power of Heaven in the places we are sent. Many miracles will take place as Jesus reaches into the hearts of those He is drawing to Himself. New emerging leaders will lead armies of people with boldness and humility.

The Josephs and Daniels of our day will stand in strategic places and deliver the Word of the Lord that will save regions and countries. These newly appointed ambassadors have endured the refining fire of God through much tribulation and hardship.

Their character has been developed as their relationship with God has become the center focus of their lives. Having learned to come under leadership, they are now being promoted to leadership themselves, yet not forgetting from where they came. They have come through many trials and testings, and a dependency and humility has been formed in them that surrenders to a God whose strength is always made perfect in their weakness.

TRANSFORMED HEARTS

"We'll look back and see why God allowed some of the challenges He did in our lives."

Let's lift our vision higher. In this season of God's preparation in our lives, our hearts will be transformed and changed to fit the assignment we are asked to do. We find our hearts start to burn with passion for Him and His Kingdom. We are drawn to Him, more and more. We are falling more in love with Him, deepening our dependency on Him, learning to hear Him and follow Him better, and we become increasingly secure in His love and commitment to us.

His "fixing" us becomes realized as we move forward. We'll look back and see why God allowed some of the challenges He did in our lives. We'll see that these very difficulties were the honing tool in the hand of our Daddy to shape us and refine us.

We are a "team" with God. We will see that He was walking with us, and was supplying strength and hope all the time. Spiritual muscles are now developed that might have never been strengthened if we had chosen a different way than the path of God.

Galatians 6:9, "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
