THREE DREAMS -- A word through Alison Papenfus, South Africa

To write to Alison Papenfus: eap@icon.co.za

Three men found themselves in a dungeon. Joseph son of Jacob, Pharaoh's Butler and Pharaoh's's Baker. All three lived in hope of release. All three had a dream.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM?

I believe God is speaking to those who find themselves in dungeons, locked behind bars with apparently no chance of escape. You live in hope that God will release you. But the Lord says - what is your dream? What do you see beyond release?

To the Baker came a dream that weighed him down. He had three baskets on his head, the things which he had produced in the past were being stolen from him. His dream caused him to fear. He was unwilling to share it. When the interpretation came he was told that he would leave the dungeon to die.

. . . .THE LORD WOULD SPEAK TO THOSE WHO LOOK BACK---

The Lord would speak to those who look back to the past and are weighed down. He says "Do not allow your past to weigh you down in the present. Do not allow your past to dictate your future. No matter what you have done - give it to Me. No matter that your past caused you to be put in this dungeon - give it to Me! For to live in the past - whether it is good or bad - is to loose out on the future! Just as the baker lost out on the future - he came out of the dungeon to die - so it is with My people who live in the past. You will loose out on the New Life I offer. Let Me cover your past with My love, My forgiveness - move on My children."

SO MANY ...WANT TO CARRY ON AS THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE!

The Baker had a dream. As Joseph interpreted, he came out of the dungeon to do what he had done before. The Lord says "So many of My children just want to carry on as they have always done! The honor of serving Me as they have done in the past is enough for them. My Presence with them as it has been is enough for them. But they have forgotten the treasure that I showed them in the dungeon. They have forgotten the revelation that came to them. They have settled for comfort, they have embraced ease and safe tradition when I have so much more! Remember the revelation that you have received! Bring out the Treasure that you found in the dungeon and know that I am more than you have ever known or can ever understand - and I want you to come out of the Dungeon changed, transformed and with a new vision!"

"WHERE ARE MY JOSEPH'S?" THE LORD WOULD SAY

Joseph had a dream. He dreamed that his brothers would bow down to him. Yet he was locked in a filthy pit with a bunch of criminals. He did not look back to the treatment of his brothers and let it weigh him down, he did not seek the favor of Potiphar in order to return to what he had before. He sought the ear of Pharaoh's's. When he came out of the dungeon it was not to pay for the past, nor to return to what he had before - it was to plan for the future of the Kingdom. The Lord would say to His people "Where are my Joseph's in this age? Who will pick up the Vision of the Glory of God covering the Earth and work with Me to it's fulfillment? Who will sense the urgency to bring in the harvest and force those on the outside to come in? Who will leave the comfort of the present to labor with Me for the fulfillment of the promises I have given at the end of the age? Where are my Josephs? Where are the men and women who have seen visions and dreamed dreams of the Glory of My Son and My Church - who I can call to work with Me to establish the Kingdom? Those who have laid the past under the Cross and forsaken the present to toil with Me for the future I have planned. Where are my Josephs? Who can I call from the dungeon to this task?"
