 2007--A YEAR WHEN MANY
"CLASHING" RELATIONSHIPS WILL BE FULLY RESTORED AND FORGED
INTO "TWO-EDGED" SWORDS "FLASHING" IN THE SPIRIT! Proverbs 27:17
Proverbs 27:17, "You use steel to sharpen steel and one friend
sharpens another."
In the coming year, I see many relationships that are now clashing, that will become
flashing "two-edged" swords forged together by the Spirit to do exploits and
bring great devastation to the camp of the enemy. I saw relationships that
seemed totally against each other, being welded together as God's love was
dealing a fatal blow to their egos. And "the way I see things," God is forging them into
'two-edged' swords to sever roots of the strongholds of division over families,
churches, cities, and nations!
FRICTION BETWEEN OPPOSING RELATIONSHIPS WILL CREATE SYNERGY IN THE KINGDOM THIS
COMING YEAR!
"Get ready--the person
you don't like right now may become your best friend!"
Synergy: the interaction of two or more agents or forces, so that their combined
effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects. Synergy is
the result of two people working out their differences together.
Through unparalleled troublesome times, many opposing relationships will be
challenged to synergize together, forging relationships similar to "Jonathan and
David" and "Ruth and Naomi" to experience covenant relationships that will
affect the course of history!
Those in clashing relationships that differ in their convictions like day and
night, but are willing to continue to walk together in love, will ultimately be
the ones who discover the many facets of truth in God's word, and learn what
truly pleases the King of Kings. I am not talking about what is clear cut in the
word of God regarding sin. I am talking about those many gray areas that have
been splitting churches and dividing friends forever.
Those who hang out with
friends who seem to see eye-to-eye on everything and who never disagree, will not
grow much this coming year. There is going to be a shaking and sharpening in all
of us! Get ready--the person you don't like right now may become your best
friend! The person you don't like may have the gift of healing for your sickness
or affliction. As a result, the command to "love one another" will become a
matter of life or death for some churches and individuals.
Have you ever met a person who seems to have an edge to them? Again,
Proverbs 27:17, "You use steel to sharpen steel and one friend sharpens
another."
IRON SHARPENS IRON, STONES SMOOTH STONES AND PEOPLE GRIND PEOPLE!
God may call the person who seems to grind you the wrong way
to sharpen you. In reality, this person IS your friend! He knows they are destined to help conform you into
the image of Jesus Christ--God's goal for your life!
I sense the enemy has been working overtime trying to convince many that you no
longer need the irritation and grinding of certain people in your life. Be
careful, the Lord may still be sharpening you. The person who is least like you
and sees things so differently, may be your best asset for your future purpose in
God's Kingdom.
The grinding may not take so long as your glaring differences
clash and cut away at each other's views that are usually at best, a little off-centered from the Lord's perspective.
Isaiah 55:8, "I don't think the way you
think. The way you work isn't the way I work. For as the sky soars high above
the earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is
beyond the way you think."
AGREEING TO ALLOW EACH OTHER TO DISAGREE IS A MAJOR STEP TOWARDS UNITY!
In many conflicts, I have found that the longer I was willing to stick it out
during disagreements and personality differences, the easier it became to
understand the person and why they are the way they are. The grinding, slowly but
surely, gave way to a binding in the Spirit, where God could actually use us
together "with" our differences more than if we were left by ourselves and our
own convictions.
MANY RELATIONSHIPS THAT ARE NOW "STRAINING" ARE ACTUALLY IN
"TRAINING" FOR
FUTURE SPIRITUAL WARFARE! Ephesians 4:2
Ephesians 4:2, "With all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing
one another in love." To forbear means to hold oneself up against; to put up with;
endure; suffer.
This picture of forbearing one another may look at first, like two people are
standing up against each other in opposition. But they are actually holding
themselves up against each other in order to hold each other up! Their body
language is saying:
"I'm not going to let you go. You are not getting away from
me just because we disagree! Even though you may be causing me to suffer right
now, I know God is somehow using you in my life to grind me and sharpen me for a
purpose. I am going to keep putting up with you, and forgiving you until I find
out God's purpose in all of this."
Have you ever wondered how long you have to put up with someone who strongly
opposes your convictions and disagrees with most everything you believe? God
clearly tells us how long. Ephesians 4:13,
"Until we all come into the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the
Son of God unto a perfect man unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of
Christ!" That is just how long we need to forbear one another in love
endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Many in difficult relationships, who realize their "straining" is being used for
"training" for "reigning," will endure and become razor-sharp fatal weapons in
spiritual warfare.
THE "JOHN MARKS" WHO HAVE BEEN REJECTED WILL BE WELCOMED BACK INTO MANY
MINISTRIES THIS COMING YEAR! Acts 15:36
Acts 15:36-40, "And some days after Paul said to Barnabas,
'Let us go again and
visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord and
see how they do.'
And Barnabas determined to take with him John, whose
surname was Mark. But Paul thought it was not good to take him with them,
who departed from them from Pamphylia and went not with them to the work.
And the contention was so sharp between them that they departed asunder one from
the other; and so Barnabas took Mark and sailed to Cyprus. And Paul chose
Silas and departed being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God."
As Paul's life drew to a close, he writes to Timothy concerning Mark who he
rejected. In 2 Timothy 4:11 (4-1-1 is the number you call or dial for information
to find a person who you want to connect with), "Only Luke is
with me. Take 'Mark' and bring him with you, for he is profitable to me for the
ministry."
MANY MINISTRIES AND SPIRITUAL LEADERS WILL BE DIALING 4-1-1 THIS COMING
YEAR...THE PHONE LINES WILL BE REALLY BUSY! 2 Timothy 4:11
Many ministries and certain spiritual Leaders will be discovering that some
people in the past, who they thought were not cut-out to work along side of them
in their ministry, will now be awakened to find out that these "John Marks" are
profitable after all. These leaders who have been sharpened, and were being
humbled by the
Lord Himself through difficulties and hardships,
will now be very willing to "call" for the "John Marks" to help them.
IN 2007--EVERYTHING IN YOUR MINISTRY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE!
"Overlooked and unseen
members of the Body will become the cornerstones in the coming move of God"
As with Hurricane Katrina, catastrophic events will continue to cause churches
and fellowships to merge together. As these events increase, many in church
leadership will be challenged to surrender their titles and positions preferring
one another in servanthood. This kind of servanthood spirit coming upon
leadership, will impart new life into the corporate Kingdom Body as the charisma
is lifted off of the leaders resulting in every member of the Body becoming
highly anointed and activated to do the work of the ministry.
Overlooked and
unseen members of the Body will become the cornerstones in the coming move of
God. As earth shaking events increase, churches will be shaken more and more
like "salt shakers," as God's hand shakes the "salt of the earth" into the world
for a great harvest! Some churches will be forced to move out into the streets,
as sidewalks become their pulpits and gutters become their altars, and as buildings
become less available while the shaking increases.
I SAW DIVORCE PAPERS BEING SHREDDED UP IN THE COMING YEAR!
Some marriage relationships that had separated and had even divorced, were still being
grinded and dealt with by other people God was using in their lives. As these other
people continued to grind down egos and selfishness, those in separated and even
divorced marriage relationships, were awakened to
their need of their forgotten love for their spouse. Their characters were
sharpened to an "edge" that enabled them to shred up their divorce papers and
return back together again!
