 What
Comes From the Creator is Creative
If we are going to see miracles, we must lay a foundation of truth for the body
of Christ to build upon. Revelation given by the Holy Spirit will reveal this
truth. Revelation isn't something God hasn't already said, it's something we
haven't heard. Revelation isn't something you get, it's "Someone" you know.
The Word of God is the will of God and it is creative because it comes from the
Creator. He tells us in Isaiah 55:11 about
His word, "it will not go out void, but
will accomplish the desire of God." What comes from the Creator is creative.
As
the Body of Christ, we are the vessels of God's creative will. We are to do His
will on earth as it is in Heaven. Signs are to follow us as we lay hands on the
sick (Mark 16:17-18). God doesn't need signs to follow Him, He's God! His
creative power is to flow through His body.
Romans 9:17, "For this very purpose I raised you up, to demonstrate My power in
you, and that My name might be proclaimed throughout the earth."
We have been raised up with Jesus and seated with Him in Heavenly places by the
Holy Spirit that now dwells in us and releases gifts for the fulfillment of
God's will (Ephesians 2:6). One of the gifts is the working of miracles
(1
Corinthians 12:10). The power of the Holy Spirit to work miracles is in us, as we
are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Become Familiar with the Supernatural Realm
If we are going to work miracles, we must become familiar with the supernatural
realm of the Holy Spirit. We can become familiar with the supernatural because
we have been given an anointing that abides in us to teach us all things
(1
John 2:27).
The natural man wants us to determine reality by what we see in this
world. True Kingdom reality is not the natural, but the supernatural realm. The
existence of what you don't see is greater than the existence of what you do see
that is created.
All seen things have come from the unseen realm. Therefore, the
natural realm is simply an expression of the supernatural realm that it comes
from. When the will of God is fulfilled in the natural realm, the supernatural
and the natural become one. This happens when His Kingdom comes on earth as it
is in Heaven.
The supernatural and the natural are linked by the Holy Spirit
that dwells in the believer. As our will lines up with the will of God, we begin
to move in the supernatural as the Holy Spirit is then able to move through us.
Miracles Will
Happen When We Believe
Miracles aren't out of our reach. Jesus said the Kingdom is at hand
(Matthew
3:2). If it's at hand, then it isn't far away. It's at hand because Jesus said
it's within you (Luke 17:21). Therefore, miracles aren't out of your reach;
they're just out of your sight so that by faith, you can call them forth. The
world teaches you "because you can't see it, it isn't there."
A miracle is
simply an encounter with the creative will of God. Miracles are only difficult
when we think we have something to do with them. We are the vessels of authority
that the Holy Spirit is waiting to pour creative power through.
Miracles will happen when
we believe they are possible because with God, ALL things are possible, and we
can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us.
