Gwen R. Shaw: "Loving Greetings from Jerusalem!"
I was so blessed to read the wonderful prophecy recently posted by Kim
Clement about Jerusalem on The Elijah List. (Click
here to view this word by Kim Clement.) Thank
you Elijah List and thank You Holy Spirit!
I recently spoke at the Feast of Tabernacles and over 4500 people are attending the
Feast. It is the biggest group of tourists in the entire year. "The Evangelicals,"
as the Jerusalem Post calls us, are surprising and blessing all of
Israel.
I spoke on Building the Wall and the City in troubled times. We all have
to do that. All of us have demonic opposition from devils and even sometimes
from those who call themselves Christians; but we must not give up. We must keep
the vision and, "Never, never, never give up," as Winston Churchill said during
WWII!
Love and blessings from the City of the Great King!

Reuven
and Mary Lou Doron: "TABERNACLES--REHEARSING FOR THE KINGDOM"
This is the week of the Feast of Tabernacles, the seventh and the final of the
Feasts of the Lord. Its primary emphasis is the return of the Messiah with His
glorious Kingdom to rule and reign upon the earth. All the beautiful elements
and traditions incorporated into this great celebration--the booths, the
multiple sacrifices, the harvest, and the Temple water ceremony, all point to the
nearing of the end of this age and to the launching of the age that is to come.
THE FULLNESS OF HIS PRESENCE
Speaking to the Colossian disciples about the supremacy and preeminence of the
Messiah compared to all created things, Paul stresses that
"...no one is to act
as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new
moon or a Sabbath day, things which are a (mere) shadow of what is to come; but
the substance belongs to Christ" Colossians 2:16-17. As many Jews and
Christians celebrate or reflect on Tabernacles this week, their obedience and faith declare with
authority the truth of God's Kingdom and His soon return.
We joined intercessors and worshipers in Minnesota this past weekend for a
regional Tabernacles celebration. As hearts arose in worship and adoration to the
King, the message that His Spirit breathed upon us was that God desires to dwell
among His children in the fullness of His presence at the closing of this age.
The world around us, according to the prophetic word, will grow darker and more
troubled each year by divine decree. Yet, by the same decree, those who walk
with Jesus will shine brighter than ever.
For surely, "...the LORD said to Moses, 'Stretch out your hand toward the sky,
that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even a darkness which may be
felt'...and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three
days...but all the sons of Israel had light in their dwellings" Exodus
10:21–23. This last weekend, as the congregation entered into His gates with
thanksgiving and into His courts with praise, the Lord confirmed His purpose
with attending miracles and healings that impacted many among us.
In fact, the same verb form of the Greek that is used to translate the Hebrew
word for "tabernacle" (Sukkah), is used in John's gospel saying,
"And the Word
became flesh, and dwelt (tabernacled) among us" John 1:14.
Take courage then,
and stir up your most holy faith. It is the Lord's pleasure to lead you higher
in vision and deeper in fellowship with Him no matter what the enemy is
whispering or what your circumstances say. Let us drive away all unbelief and
doubt, and fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith!
THE KING UPON HIS THRONE
The prophetic word indicates that a day will come when a righteous and a mighty
Kingdom of peace and prosperity will settle upon the earth with King Jesus
ruling from Jerusalem. Many of the ancient prophets described that Kingdom in
both the old and new covenant inspired writings, but Isaiah described this
glorious vision as he saw it emerging from the preceding purging and cleansing
that must first wash the earth from her filth.
In Isaiah 4:2-6, Isaiah declared,
"In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and
glorious, and the fruit of the earth (will be) the pride and the adornment of
the survivors of Israel. It will come about that he who is left in Zion and
remains in Jerusalem will be called holy--everyone who is recorded for life in
Jerusalem.
When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and purged the
bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the Spirit of judgment and the Spirit
of burning, then the LORD will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over
her assemblies a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire
by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy.
There will be a shelter to
(give) shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and
the rain."
On that blessed day God's ultimate tabernacle, the
divine Sukkah, will shelter all who call upon His name.
Not only that, but the Feast of Tabernacles also points to the time when all
nations will come up to Jerusalem bearing tribute to the Messianic King and
worship the God of Israel. Not only the Jewish nation, but the entire
International community will also pass through God's judgments and purging
before the Scripture is fulfilled.
Throughout Zechariah 14 it says,
"For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle...Then the LORD
will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of
battle. In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in
front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its
middle from east to west by a very large valley..."
"For it will be a unique day which is known to the LORD, neither day nor night,
but it will come about that at evening time there will be light. And in that day
living waters will flow out of Jerusalem... And the LORD will be King over all
the earth; in that day the LORD will be (the only) one, and His name (the only)
one...Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went
against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of
Hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths..."
No wonder the Jewish people call the Feast of Tabernacles the Feast of Feasts!
This seventh celebration embodies the culmination of all the previous Feasts
which point to the Lord's great work of salvation. His perfect life, obedience,
suffering, death, burial and resurrection, all find their fulfillment in His
return as King reigning over a glorious Kingdom. Take courage, then. No matter
how flimsy, frail, and temporary this life may seem, it soon will be swallowed up
in His victory as we rise with Him and join the final Tabernacles celebration.
THE PRIESTLY BLESSING
As part of the ceremony to come up to Jerusalem three times a year to worship
God, a special practice takes place on Temple Mount during the week of
Tabernacles as multitudes of Jewish worshipers gather to receive the priestly
blessing. Not since the liberation of the Temple Mount during the Six-Day War in
1967, has there been such a large crowd as assembled in the overflowing Western
Wall Plaza this last week.
Hundreds of Kohanim (Jewish individuals who trace their lineage to Aaron, the
first High Priest), were positioned by the Western Wall to take part in the
special blessings. So large was the assembly, the police force had to close the
gates leading to the Western Wall Plaza as it filled to capacity with thousands.
According to one of the presiding Rabbis, many of those packing the plaza were
not observant, but rather secular Israelis' who were nevertheless moved to make
their own pilgrimage to the Western Wall in search of a touch from God. The
blessing they seek is the one recorded in Numbers 6:22-27:
"Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 'Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying,
thus you shall bless the sons of Israel. You shall say to them: 'The LORD bless
you, and keep you; The LORD make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace.' So they shall
invoke My name on the sons of Israel, and I (then) will bless them.'"
Increasing numbers of Israelis' are growing in their awareness that something
fundamental is missing in their personal, as well as national experience. The
recent war in Lebanon serves as an irritant wake-up call to
those who have ears to hear. Those are the poor in spirit who seek God's healing
touch, though they do not know His Son yet. Will you agree with us in prayer for
a powerful Heavenly harvest of souls, as many in Israel hunger and thirst for the
Rock who is still hidden from their eyes? Only God can remove the veil over their eyes.
Remind Him of His promises. He wants many to partner
with Him in this great work of redemption.
USA & ISRAEL SEARCH FOR NEW ENERGY
Last July, the "USA--Israel Energy Cooperation Act," was passed through the House of
Representatives, and has now moved to the Senate where it is expected to roll on
a fast track to ratification. Under the terms of the bill, the United States
Department of Energy is authorized to invest up to $20 million annually (through
2012), in joint energy projects between American and Israeli businesses,
scientists, and academics. The focus of this bill is research, development, and
commercialization of alternative energy sources.
Leading advocates compare the current race towards American energy independence
to its race towards nuclear technology during World War II. Given the enormity
of the task, Israel is taking the lead in the effort to attain energy
alternatives to oil, and a new research initiative was launched at Israel's
Weizmann Institute.
Developing alternative energy sources as well as sustainable and affordable
alternatives to oil, is essential in dealing with the emerging global energy
crisis.
Israeli scientists are working on several approaches to alternative energy. One
is the production of methanol, which is now extracted from fossil fuels, from
the sun rays instead. If this process works, it will provide a clean, renewable,
and environmentally safe fuel. Can you imagine extracting enough energy from the
sun to not only warm, but also run our world? Is anything too difficult for God?
Why not this way, through an American--Israeli cooperation? And why not now, at
the Feast of Tabernacles, the time of fulfillment and of the final harvest?
Even as you read these words, research groups are focusing on energy conversion,
storage, and conservation. One Israeli team explores ways of utilizing plants
and biomass as energy sources. Others search for processes to enhance the
capacity of researchable batteries, and are developing new direct-oxidant fuel
cells that far surpass hydrogen fuel cells and traditional internal combustion
engines.
As it is written, "So shall they fear the name of the
Lord from the West, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy
comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against
him" Isaiah 59:19.
God holds the keys of wisdom and knowledge, and He will confound the enemy's
plots. Let us intercede before Him for these breakthroughs during this season of
harvest, victory, and fulfillment.
In His grace,
Reuven and Mary Lou Doron

"The Healing" Scarf (Red):
There are 2 elements: The wine, speaking of HIS BLOOD (which removes our sin);
and the bread speaking of HIS BODY (which has healed us emotionally and physically).
"The Song of Song" Scarf (Purple):
There are many interpretations of the Song of Songs. Some are calling this the "Bride" scarf. Often this verse is used at weddings and even engraved on wedding rings. Our ultimate joy will be when the Lord makes us His Bride! Let this be a reminder to draw closer to Him, and stay pure and holy so we will be ready.
The Celebration "Peace" Scarf (Royal Blue):
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper that love thee," is not just a suggestion but a command from God's Word to all of us whether we are Jew or Gentile. This scarf was designed to Celebrate: Israel as a Nation, 50-plus
years in the land, and God's everlasting love and mercy to His chosen people.
(Isaiah 66:8, Jeremiah 31:3);
Gentile believers who are "grafted in" and have a love and commitment to Israel
and the Jews. (Romans 11:17-24, Isaiah 49:22);
and God's Word, and that it will not return unto Him void, as we "pray for the
peace of Jerusalem." (Isaiah 55:11, Psalm 122:6).
"The Light of the World" Scarf (White):
Yeshua said, " I am the Light of the World; he who follows Me shall never walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life."
(John 8:12) Yeshua also said to us, "You are the light of the world.
(Matthew 5:14) Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in
Heaven." (Matthew 5:16) As disciples of Yeshua, we are now the Royal Priesthood.
(I Peter 2:4 & 9) Just as the Levitical Priests were required to care for the menorah or lamp stand in the temple, we must follow the same directions for our "lamps," in our "temple". Daily we must trim all the sin from our lives,
(Psalm 51) renewing our minds and hearts through the washing of water by the Word.
