Steyne: "THIS GOSPEL--WILL BE PREACHED TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH SO THAT
EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW"
Glorify Jesus, Not the Events
When we experience profound revelatory
events in our lives, it is easy to become distracted by those events and lose
focus of the main intents of our hearts! Jesus mentioned this very thing to
seventy-two of His disciples after they returned from a ministry trip.
"The seventy-two
returned with joy and said, 'Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.'
He replied, 'I saw satan fall like lightning from Heaven. I have given you
authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of
the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits
submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in Heaven.'" Luke
10:17-20
The focal point of everything we do, must always be to glorify Jesus, not the
events, not the signs, not the wonders--they are simply road posts for our
journey. It is wonderful when these events happen and God makes Himself
manifest. He has always ratified His Presence with power and signs, but it is to
ratify Him, not men, not movements, not prophetic words, not churches, not
regions--nothing but Him!
In days to come, the increase of healings, miracles, and signs and wonders will
be exponential, and we must realize this is always about God endorsing His Son,
and the work of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The intent of the pouring
out of His Spirit is to lavish on us His Awesome Grace and Love as was fully
demonstrated through Jesus. We must keep our focus on the intent of the Father's
Dream!
The Gospel--Every Knee Shall Bow
"Your attitude should be
the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not
consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being
found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to
death--even death on a cross!
Therefore God
exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in Heaven and on earth and
under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the
glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:5-11
A number of years ago, after reading the above passage, the Lord spoke to me,
saying I had only known that passage as a "final reality," that one day every
knee will bow to Jesus. He spoke so clearly to my heart that this was to now
become my mission--to bring every knee to bow to Jesus! The goal of my Father's
Heart, His Dream, is that "everyone, everywhere, falling in Love with His Son!"
In the upcoming days, there will be increased signs, notable miracles, and
profound revelation. But we must always remember, it is "This Gospel" that will
be preached to the ends of the earth. The Gospel is where hearts are turned to
fall in love with Jesus. The Gospel that was given to a young Slovakian woman
(at the Resort where we held our conference), who fell in Love with Jesus! It is
this Gospel! The Gospel of gas stations, grocery stores, sidewalks, schools, and
places of business. The Gospel that makes hearts realize, "He is what I have
been missing in Life--I want Him!"
As we begin watching the "shock and awe" of God in a powerful demonstration of
His Glory coming to this earth, we must realize it is to open the doors for us
for "effectual service" (1 Corinthians 16:9),
not simply for us to "do it again" the next time we have another conference!
My Father's Dream
I will never forget a powerful message by
Rolland Baker, who has been a part of an ongoing revival in Africa, where at
least 8,000 churches have been established, and where signs and wonders and
healings are becoming as common as daily bread! I heard the heart of a man who
understood the Dream of my Heavenly Father, "At the end of the day," Rolland
said, "we must never forget, we preach Christ crucified, buried, and risen
again!"
"By this gospel you are
saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have
believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance:
that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried,
that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he
appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.
After that, he
appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of
whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to
James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to
one abnormally born." 1 Corinthians 15:2-8
It is this Gospel that will open up the Harvest throughout this nation, and
the world! My Father's Dream is to see every knee, everywhere, bow to Jesus!
That won't happen with simply our conferences, summits, and meetings. It will
happen as we herald "This Gospel"--this GREAT NEWS throughout our land in all
the places we walk today and tomorrow! It's Harvest Time!
Visitation from a Heavenly Messenger
On August 24, 2006, I was awoken by the
Lord at 5:55 am (5 is the number of Grace). I went into another room and was met
there by one of His messengers. He spoke one sentence to me, "It has started
throughout the Nation!" Then there was a flash of lightning, a huge boom of
thunder, and this Heavenly messenger was gone!
Bob Jones reminded me that this is the atmosphere of the Throne Room of God.
This is the new canopy or covering of the throne. When lucifer rebelled, he left
the throne uncovered. The Lord covered it with thunder, lightning, and the
shouts of the saints (Revelation 4:5, 19:6).
So the body is going to have to do the shouting! The shouting we must do is not simply for personal effect--not to make our
meetings more lively. But rather to shout out this powerful message of This
Gospel until-- EVERY KNEE BOWS!
It is
Harvest Time! It has begun!
"Shout! For the LORD has given
you the city!" Joshua 6:16
