Freed: "TIMES OF TRANSITION--BREAKTHROUGHS IN NEW WAYS"
 The
Church is in a season of "transition." In the Webster's dictionary, transition
is defined as "moving from one place to another or moving from one position to
another." Also, transition is defined as moving from one CONCEPT to another.
Transition Involves Change and Moving From One
Revelation To Another Level of Revelation
A concept is an idea, principle, or a thinking process. Spiritually, when we
move from one "concept" to another, it is actually moving from "one revelation
to a new revelation!" This implies that during any season of great transition,
we are moving forward with new truth, understanding, and wisdom.
The main purpose of transition and the
receiving of the new revelation, is to EMBRACE the disclosure of the mystery
that was once hidden, but is now revealed to us! We must not treat the new
revelation frivolously; it must be considered a "holy thing" to us. When we are
keeping a new revelation "holy," it means that we protect it, guard it, and
separate it unto the Lord. We cannot allow the new revelation to be defiled by
the old, (old lifestyles, old belief systems, mindsets, etc.) therefore, we must
consider it holy.
When we embrace a new spiritual truth, we are holding it next to our heart.
God is speaking with His NEW SOUND, and we must protect new revelation and hold
it "dear and precious." Do not allow the enemy to defile your fresh revelation
with doubt and unbelief. See your revelation as precious and holy. Protect what
God has given you! It is time to war over what God is revealing!
Mindsets Block Us from Fully Transitioning
Each time we receive new revelation, our mindsets are challenged. Most of us
would quickly deny that we have mindsets. In fact, we have a mindset that we do
NOT have mindsets. Wow! This type of thinking is dangerous! It is similar to
having a blind spot. Yes, we ALL have them; we simply cannot see them. This is
the reason why they are called BLIND SPOTS! During this teaching, we will
discuss the many challenges of mindsets, but for now, I would like to discuss
the most obvious mindset.
Are you ready? By this example, we know we have a mindset--it is when we believe
God will answer us in the very same way as He did before. Though we do not
realize we are doing this, we limit Him to an old pattern, and we cannot clearly
hear His new voice in this New Season!
I have realized that God speaks differently
in different seasons. Too many of us move forth in presumption believing God is
going to move the exact same way in the exact same time frame as He did 10 years
ago. Though He could do that if He desired, the problem is, if He is speaking
and moving upon our circumstances differently, we cannot HEAR Him speak because
we have already closed ourselves to His voice. As a result, we find ourselves in
another wilderness because we are not listening.
Over the years, I have observed the mindsets in the Body of Christ. Too often,
because God did a miracle one way and within a certain period of time, many
Christians locked God into the same type of miracle coming down the same
highway. All the while, God was driving down a different street with a different
miracle, speaking something new, and it went unheard and unheeded. As a result,
Christians become disillusioned and depressed, and ultimately miss portions of
blessing and destiny. Saints, be careful during this time of transition. Do not
put God in a box--remain open to His voice.
The Israelites in the Wilderness
God spoke one way while the children of Israel were in Egypt, then a completely
different way while in the wilderness. During their season in the desert, God
was attempting to prove Himself in a fresh new way. He wanted to prove Himself
as the Healer, the Provider, their Banner, their God of Breakthrough, and much
more. He desired to deliver them while they were IN their circumstances, not
while they were OUT of them!
The Israelites limited God by wanting to go back to what was old; also, they
just wanted OUT. Yet God had breakthrough planned right where they were, and
they couldn't see it. They had a MINDSET as to how God would meet their need and
how He would provide. Unfortunately, it is often the same with many of us. We
are crying out for God to get us OUT of our situations, and God desires to
deliver us right where we are. He has a breakthrough planned in an entirely
new way.
A Season to See and Experience Dreams and
Visions
We are coming out of the wilderness. Can't you see your Promised Land? Saints
of God, we are in a spiritual season when the prophetic seers are to arise! Like
watchmen on the wall, the seers have visions and dreams that speak of destiny
and promise. Supernatural vision is being given to empower us to believe for
miracles, signs, wonders, and breakthrough. It is time to anoint our eyes so
that we can see the Light even in the midst of darkness!
I know that breakthrough may appear too far away for some of you to fully
identify with your promise, but you have got to look and see that your release
from barren situations is on the horizon. It is time for increase and expansion.
God is promising that if you will step forth in mustard seed faith, He will open
the Heavens to you and also expand your borders.
"Enlarge your house; build an addition; spread out your
home! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will take
over other nations and live in their cities." Isaiah 54:2-3
In Numbers 14, they had SEEN their Promised
Land, but they made a mistake, remember? They "saw" it but chose NOT to enter
into what God had declared was theirs? AS A RESULT, THE Amalekites defeated
them!
Amalekites
Oh No! The Amalekites again! Yes, the
Amalekites wait for you to lag behind, they wait behind the camp and seek after
those who don't keep up with the pace of the camp. Are you lagging behind? Well,
what is keeping you from being in the forefront? Is it doubt and unbelief? Is it
fear? Is it a mindset, or could it be just plain neglect and slothfulness? Did
you run away from the hard place just wanting OUT or did you stand for your
breakthrough right where you're at?
Are you weary? Then let Him reveal Himself
as your true strength. We are all in the season where nothing is accomplished by
our own strength. Only through His strength is the victory sure.
Did you "jump the gun" in your race? In other words, work it out in your flesh
or move too quickly when God had not released the time? In actual competition,
if a runner jumps the gun, he must start the race over, or may even become
disqualified. When we have mindsets, we often move too quickly and jump the gun
during the race, or we can lag behind and run too slowly. If this has happened
to you, simply repent for your works of the flesh, release your mind and will to
God, and begin again. Either way, it is truly time to come OUT of your
wilderness and begin to ENTER IN!
Warfare
We will not enter into our season of covenant promise without warfare! If you
are attempting to move forward, then it is time for war. I know that many of you
are tired of warfare, but please remember--God intends for warfare to birth the
fruits of possession! There is NO way to possess your land without warfare.
God's covenant promise insures your victory! But this covenant promise will
manifest only through intimacy. By carefully examining
Song of Solomon 3:6, we see that the bride has come out of her
wilderness because she has been PREPARED!
Song of Solomon 3:6-8, "Who is this that cometh out of
the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with
all powders of the merchant? Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; threescore
valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel. They all hold swords, being
expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the
night."
The smell of myrrh!
Notice she smells like frankincense and myrrh. Myrrh is the same ointment that
Esther was bathed in. However, she did not have a Calgon "take-me-away" bath!
Historians report that the oils were SCRUBBED into the skin. This scrubbing was
so intense, that it literally became PART of the skin! It was not a smell that
would last for only a few hours like our modern perfumes and bath oils. When her
season of preparation was over, Esther WAS the fragrance! This is what the Lord
seeks in us--He seeks the fragrance of the myrrh.
Myrrh was noted for several things. One, it
was an ointment that prepares us for burial--death to self is what the Lord is
seeking in each of us. It is time to embrace His call, His will, and lay down
our selfish self-will. Secondly, it was anointing oil for the priestly robes. It
is our season, like Esther of Old, to realize that we are kings and priests, and
it is our time to step into our governmental robes of authority to bring shifts
to our cities, our churches, and our families. Thirdly, it was an alluring
perfume that attracted the bridegroom. The Scripture says that the Bridegroom
actually sought out the smell of myrrh before he entered into the bedchamber!
Christ is seeking the scent of myrrh upon
each of us. He is ready to manifest His covenant promise because the scent of
myrrh is within us. Have we been anointed for our decision to die to self? If
so, then His perfect will shall find us, and we will fulfill our destiny as His
Bride! Have we surrendered to our call, our destiny? If so, the Bridegroom
knocks at our door!
The Bridegroom is Ready!
He is ready to present His covenant breakthrough and promise to us right now!
But look, what is around the bedchamber? It is the Mighty Men of war! There is
warfare in the bedchamber. This is symbolic of what we must go to war over for
our covenant promises. We will enter into this next season with our
determination to war. In fact, our warfare will be our strength.
The word says that the sword was at the
"THIGH." Thigh represents strength. Once again, our strength will come out of
our determination to war over our promises. The thigh is also symbolic of
reproduction. We must begin to focus on reproduction. It is time to become
pregnant with God's promise and the message of the Kingdom of God. Only through
reproducing His truth concerning His perfect will, will we witness strengthening
within the Body of Christ.
We must be in unity and work together to reproduce quality seed into others. God
will build His Church, but we must be a vital part of the construction process.
The Amalekite spirit hates reproduction; it attacks all potential Aarons and
Hurs. This is our season to war against that Amalekite stronghold that steals
our seed. Aarons and Hurs must come forth to hold up the arms of Godly leaders.
It is time to reproduce into those called to hold up the arms of the five-fold
ministry, so that the saints can become equipped.
Rise up! Get focused! It is time for war. As you war, know that you fight
FROM the victory and covenant relationship. He has already won the battle for
you. Stand in faith and see the salvation of your God!
