Robert Ricciardelli for Jeanette Reed: "POSTURING FOR THE?POSITION OF HUMILITY"

Joyce and I are blessed to have Jeanette?as a part of our team. She hears from the Lord and most importantly, obeys what she hears from Him. The Lord pours forth much confirming revelation through her life. Below is an example of God's truth coming forth, exhorting all of us to prepare for the days ahead. The Lord is waking up His church, and there is a continued Kingdom shift as His glory pours out through the lives of His beloved.

Jeanette currently serves as armor bearer/strategic intercessor for Robert and Joyce Ricciardelli, their ministry Visionary Advancement Strategies, and the Northwest region of Equip. Jeanette is also the prophetic intercessor advisor for the organization Heart For Africa.

Jeanette Reed: "Posturing for the Position of Humility"

"For My glory shall be made known over the whole earth. I will comfort those who mourn and bring relief to those who hunger."

God is gracious and mighty to save. What comfort we have in knowing He is sovereign and all powerful. He is kind and just. He holds us in His embrace as a mother hen gathers her chicks.

In the midst of times of trouble or times of prosperity, the same God holds all things together and gives us His peace. God's comfort is true and present, and it brings glory to Him, the One worthy of our praise.

In this word below, that I feel God has asked me share, I do not see an absence of His comfort, I see the embrace of God's goodness and His work to reconcile all things to Himself. My prayer is that we will seek the Lord about the seasons and times, His plans and purposes, but not for our comfort, but for His glory.

Awake and Take Courage

"Awake sleepy church, awake! Though the earth would tremble and the sea will roar, your soul will not fear. Indeed your soul will sing praise to Me, your God and King! Blessed is he who hears My words and obeys."

"Return to Me, oh faithless nation. It is I who gave you abundance, yet you have put your trust in lifeless things. You have covered your ears to the cries of My people."

"How long will My people be deaf to My voice? How long will they hide from Me? I cry out through the poor, and they do not listen. They hear the sound of their own desires and lust after false gods. I have longed for them yet they are proud and defiant. I have warned them, and they do not listen."

"Prepare for the day of calamity. Take courage. Do not mourn. Stand and watch for the signs. Cry out to the people when you see it coming. Be a light to the city. Now you come and go without thought. Soon you will face struggle in staying and struggle in going."

"I am bringing a new way that will remove the things that deceive you. I will remove the things that bring you comfort until you seek Truth and seek My comfort."

"I will take down the high places of the enemy and from this mountain, My glory will be made known over the whole earth. Out of the rubble, I will reach out My hand of mercy. I will come with healing and life. I will give signs and wonders. Miracles will flow for My Name's sake."

"I will raise up My church; the people with My name, that all will know I am the Lord who is mighty to save. Do not fear. Reach out with love and serve as I served."

"Prepare the way to the hill country where you will hear My voice and know the way to proceed."

Defining "Victorious"

What we are seeing today is but birth pains of what is to come. As God cleanses, corrects, transforms, and makes ready for the harvest, we will see a time of great difficulty. It is not a time to fear, but a time to humble ourselves before the Lord, and seek Him with our whole heart.

Everything God does is holy and just. We are not able to define what is holy and just as we live in the now-and not-yet of the Kingdom. While we long for Christ's reign, and we speak of the victorious church for which He will return, we must be seeking God for the definition of "victorious."

Long ago, the Jewish nation longed for a Messiah who would come in power and redeem them as promised. The picture they had was that of an earthly victory and earthly power. Many did not recognize the Messiah who came in humility, grace, and mercy, whose love was a power to overcome sin and death.

When we think of the victorious church, why are we able to see this as anything except: being broken before the cross, on our knees before our King? God did not ask us to carry banners of the triumphant church, but of the triumphant King. He leads us in a triumphal procession in Christ. Our victory is a gift through Christ Jesus. His gracious victory given for His glory.

All for His Glory

We must be alert to the temptation of pride or arrogance in these days. We are not above God's justice. We are part of His kingdom, and the transformational work of His Spirit is still at work to unite all things through Him.

As God calls us to pray without ceasing, let us remember that we pray for that which glorifies the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We do not receive the glory for praying. God receives the glory when we pray.

We do not get the glory for having wisdom in days of trouble. We give glory to the One who gives wisdom. We do not receive glory for worldly success. We give glory to the One who brings His kingdom of Light to reverse the curse upon this world and reconcile all things to Himself.

Posture Ourselves in Humility

We are not to posture ourselves for position in His Kingdom, except that we would be poor in spirit, hungry for righteousness, pure in heart, peacemakers, persecuted, and merciful.

It is time to humble ourselves and seek God. It is time for obedience. Without delay. Without agenda. No more chatter. It is time for us to listen for the voice of our Shepherd and obey.

1 John 2:5-6, "But whoever keeps His word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may be sure that we are in Him: whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which He walked."
Matthew 20:28, "Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many."

May this be the posture of our hearts in this season.
