VISION FOR GERMANY

Catherine Brown

20 APRIL 1999 Through Catherine Brown, Scotland Email: CBrownds1@aol.com

(The previous vision by Catherine Brown regarding Germany can be found at: http://www.elijahlist.com/germany120798.htm )

In 1998, the Lord shared a vision with me, which showed white linen over Germany, with an ensuing move of the Holy Spirit within that nation. This year, as I was praying for Germany, again on the day of prayer for the nation, the Lord graced me with the following vision:

THE VIRTUE OF CHRIST

I saw many people working together in the harvest fields of the Earth. They were the Lord's laborers; each person's head was covered with a white handkerchief. This was a sign of reverence to the Lord's Holiness, and of the Lord's promised anointing. The white handkerchiefs also represented righteousness and a dying to self.

I further believe this was a reference to the white linen the Lord referred to in the previous vision for Germany in 1998. The German nation has not been static in the year between each of these visions, the people have humbly moved towards their destiny in the Lord. Much prayer and repentance has taken place within the Body of Christ, and an unprecedented desire for unity has released a further portion of the Lord's Righteousness. The Spirit-led labor of the saints is part of the preparation of the Bride.

"But the wisdom that comes from heaven, is first of all pure, then peace loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness." Jas 3:17-18

"Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)" Rev 19:8

The workers were digging deep down into the foundations of the Earth. I was told this to be symbolic of the preparation of the Body of Christ for the purposes of revival. I was shown there were certain things in the foundations of the Church that needed to be removed including pride, disunity, and lack of love, selfishness, judgement, unforgiveness, and works of the flesh. Once these things had been removed from the foundations, Kingdom principles were to replace them. All the people were a part of this work. It was intensive labor, but I saw that the work was pleasing in the Lord's eyes.

"Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." Gal 6:7-10

"The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. As the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Mt 9:37-38

GOD'S PEOPLE--AND WHAT THEY PLANT INTO THE CHURCH

I saw that once these obstacles had been removed, and the ground had been prepared, the people were planting what looked like numbers one through seven. I was told these represented the seven virtues of Christ. The people of God were planting these into the foundation of the Church:

1. Virtue - such as goodness, humility, meekness

2. Knowledge of God - a heartfelt desire to know more of His ways and His character and His Word and His Spirit

3. Temperance - self-control and watchfulness over fleshly desires and passions, a desire to be separated completely from the fleshly desires of man's sinful nature

4. Patience - a sincere patience with waiting on God, understanding His ways, and a tenderness in dealing with each other within the Body - especially when mistakes were made, or when another's weakness is exposed, a granting of grace and forgiveness in brotherly love

5. Godliness - earnestly seeking after a life of Holiness, a desire to live out a life of mercy triumphing over justice living in, by and out of the Word.

6. Brotherly Love - sincere love for each other, regardless of denominational background, creed or color. This sincere brotherly love would then blossom into . . .

7. Agape Love - Christ's unfathomable and perfect Love that would flow out of each believer, to the extent of laying down one's life, even for a perceived 'enemy'

"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." Col 3:12-14

WEEPING FOR THEIR OWN SINS--AFTER THE PLANTING IS COMPLETED

Once the planting was completed, the people dropped to their knees and began to intercede and call out to the Lord with contrite and humble hearts. They wept out of the depths of their beings for their own sins, the sins of their forefathers and for the lost, and as they wept the ground that had been carefully prepared and planted began to produce fruit.

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise" Ps 51:17

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chro 7:14

Where the virtues of Christ had been planted they grew up into huge pillars that, in turn, supported a Bridge. The pillars represented both the Presence of the Lord and His Truth. The figurative use of pillars is indicative of strength and beauty.

"By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left is place in front of the people." Ex 13:21-22

I understood that the Body of Christ had matured into the Virtue of Christ, and this had created a bridge for the Bride into true Revival. It made a way for people to come close to the Father. The bridge was not just for the Church, but for all those who were lost. The Bridge represents the Holy Spirit making a way to Christ.

"He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." 2 Pe 3:9
