YOUR CITY OR COMMUNITY: IS GOD SEEKING YOUR INTERCESSION?

I woke up this morning with this Word on my heart. I'm not claiming this is word-for-word from the Lord. But this is what the Lord, I believe, gave me:

Today, there are assignments by the enemy against your city, your town, your community, your village, your block.

The assignments, among other things include rape, murder, incest, wife-battering, destroying of the self-worth of children, fatal accidents, and well . . . you get the picture.

You are among those called to interecede TODAY against these very assignments by the enemy. He, the enemy--- hopes you don't . . . intercede, that is. The reason is that he wants to do what he wants to do--and he's afraid---yes AFRAID that YOU will prevent him.

He hopes you, once again, will not realize that Christ lives in you, . . . that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit . . . that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places . . . that you have not--- because you ask not. He really desires that this information seem obscure to you.

Oh, and one more thing. The more unworthy you feel, the better for his cause. He tries desperately to make you forget that the Blood of the Lamb is sufficient for your sins . . . in fact, he'd prefer that you forget altogether that ---as simple as it sounds---Christ DIED FOR YOUR SINS!!

You can, however, choose to remember what God says--- and if you do, you can seek the Lord in humility--asking him to STOP the planned rapes (or at least some of them) in your city today--and the other things the Lord puts on your heart. You, today can help to stop a "planned" broken marriage from getting started or going awry. You can ask Christ to intervene before a child is molested today.

The truth is, unless some believers intercede, some of these things WILL happen IN YOUR COMMUNITY and they will happen today.

Sure, you could feel so guilty about your own sins that you don't pray. But just what if . . . your prayers kept one woman from being raped. Wouldn't it be a shame if you didn't pray them?

I hope you'll pray.

By the way---the Lord recently showed me how to pray when I feel quite unworthy. It involves humbling yourself but it's not rocket science. It goes something like this:

Kneel down alone where no one is in the room. Could be the bathroom for all God cares. And say this, "Lord, I humble myself before you today. Be merciful to me a sinner." Now you're ready to pray whatever the Lord puts on your mind.

The day may come when someone will see you on the "other side" and say to you, "Thank you for praying for me. It was me that was saved from attack that one day. And you were the one who prevented it. The Lord showed me your leaning over the commode and praying for our community that day. Thank you for what you did."
