A special message by Steve Shultz, Publisher THE ELIJAH LIST

It's been literally months. I keep thinking about South Africa. I know a few people from there--but it's more than that. After the United States and Canada, it is the most represented nation on the Elijah List. God's heart is there and there NOW. I can feel it and He keeps confirming that he's "net-working" Africa.

Some of you know Alison Papenfus, who resides in South Africa. She has a prophetic ministry there and is networking Godly prophetic people from South Africa--and all over the continent of Africa.

The Lord has been speaking to me of alerting those on the ELIJAH LIST who are on the continent of AFRICA about Alison's ministry and list. Her passion is to network the prophets in the nation of South Africa--FROM the nation of South Africa--with OTHER prophets IN the nation of South Africa--and ALL of Africa--and with those INTERESTED in Africa. You're all included--and you should ALL (in those categories) get "net-worked" on Alison's list.

(Note: At this time--I am only doing this for South Africa --and the continent of Africa --- as the Lord has confirmed this Word to me over and over. No sooner had I begun to obey the Lord, then suddenly, people from South Africa are writing me several times a day asking how to be networked with others from Africa!!

(Note: Over the course of time, The Elijah List will help other countries who want more networking than they currently have, of prophetic or intercessory people). But for now, The Lord is speaking to me of South Africa.)

Alison never came to me and asked me to help her do this. She has not been ambitious at all in this regard. This has come from the Lord to me. I knew of Alison's passion--so I went to her the other day and presented what I felt the Lord was saying.

I asked Alison to write me a paragraph or two about what she is/will do with the names and email addresses of those who write to her to be networked.

Again--it is my opinion that if you have a burden for South Africa or the CONTINENT of Africa, you should get on her list. God will use it, even if you live in New York City. We are all members of the same Body--after all. Perhaps some of the most profound words for Africa with come from your little hometown.

"What the Lord is saying here through prophecy is that South Africa is the key to the evangelization of the African continent; that the move will come from the South and spread Northwards; that the gospel will be planted in places and spread outwards from the place where it is planted like an African bush fire. We have, I believe, limited time to train people to be ready for this move of God. Once it begins it will change the face of Africa - and then the missionaries will come from the southern hemisphere to the north!

Massive crusade organizations like Reinhard Bonke and Pieter Pretorius already have their African bases in South Africa and drive vast pantechnicons full of equipment into the continent - they minister to Presidents and Government ministers wherever they go; there are some amazing things going on relatively quietly, and it will only take a little wind to fan it into a veld fire ...behind the evangelists need to come those who will disciple people who have been bound in occult practices, poverty and sin ... it is going to take an army of people committed to the Lord! But that is just what he is raising up ...

I have been a subscriber to the Elijah list almost since its inception, and have greatly appreciated the quality of the posts you have provided. The prophetic is in its infancy in Africa, and as far as I know there is no Prophetic List distributing words specifically for or to Africa. This means that often snippets of the prophetic are being passed on in true African style - by word of mouth! With modern technology we can do better than that!

I have come to the conclusion before the Lord that we do need a list to encourage and disseminate words "heard" either within Africa or for Africa. The list is called "AfricaProphecy"
