PROPHETIC BULLETIN:
Powers Just Transferred From Israeli Prime Minister Sharon to Vice Premier Ehud
Olmert After Sharon's "Significant Stroke"
Significant
Television, Internet and Media outlets are reporting that Powers were just
transferred from Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to Sharon's deputy Vice
Premier Ehud Olmert after he had a "significant stroke!"
We may have a new ruler in Israel!
The AP, for instance, is reporting that the 77 year-old Prime Minister was
receiving breathing assistance while under a general anesthetic, but minutes
later, Dr. Shlomo Mor-Yosef explained that tests revealed he had "massive
bleeding and was being transferred to an operating theater." Power has been
transferred to Vice Premier Ehud Olmert.
We, as a prophetic people of the Kingdom, are called to Partner with our
Creator; the Father; and His Son, Jesus Christ; and the Holy Spirit at just such
times (and of course, always!).
"Pray
for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure. May
there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels." For the
sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, "Peace be within you. For the
sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity."
--Psalm 122:6-9
HOW THEN SHOULD WE
PRAY IN LIGHT OF THIS EMERGENCY CONCERNING ARIAL SHARON?
While the above is true, there is seemingly
an increasing EMERGENCY concerning Israel and its surrounding enemies. So, we
must then do at least these two things:
1) Pray like never before for the Peace of Jerusalem and that its leaders would
be given supernatural wisdom in this very hour.
And:
2) Pray like never before for President George W. Bush, that HE would be given
supernatural wisdom that comes only from Heaven and not from the mere counsel of
mankind.
The thing is, God prophesied in Scripture this immutable truth:
"And in
that day, I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone . . ."
--Zechariah 12:3
It was prophesied that until the time peace
comes, that Jerusalem would be "a burdensome stone." This is why we must
pray for its peace.
"WHY PRAY AGAINST GOD'S CHOSEN WILL," YOU ASK?
One of my favorite sayings is
this:
"God will always act exactly the same.
. . unless HE acts differently!"
Until God chooses to no longer
honor our prayers for the peace of Jerusalem, we must continually pray for its
peace, even though the same God has promised the opposite of peace for those
who mess with this "burdensome stone."
The problem with burdensome
stones is that. . . well, they are "burdensome" (full of burdens).
As modern-day,
2006-oriented Believers in Jesus Christ and supporters of Israel and Her
capital city (from Heaven's viewpoint), we must pray for the PEACE of
Jerusalem.
Oh, and by the way, this prayer
INCLUDES NECESSARILY all those who live in Jerusalem, both Jew and Gentile,
male and female, and Arab and Jew--"ALL MEANS ALL"--We must pray that ALL
live in peace in this city of Jerusalem and in the State of Israel.
Why?
Because we are told
prophetically this is how we must act, how we must prophesy, and how we must
pray for this burdensome stone called Jerusalem and Israel.
Sound like a contradiction?
Well, it is!
Nevertheless, if I were you, I
would pray for Jerusalem's peace, Arial Sharon, the new leader of Israel,
President Bush, and the leaders of every single country that may come against
Israel.
Why is that again?
Because even if we are seeing
enemies of Israel coming against her, our prayer (at least as individuals)
should be just as the prayer of the very Jewish Jesus, whose country
was occupied by the enemies of Israel when HE taught us to act like this. . .
"But love your enemies,
do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back.
Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High,
because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked."
--Luke 6:35
Now presidents, kings, and prime ministers often
go to war. And sometimes, they simply must go to war.
But our prayer, as people of the Kingdom, is to
pray for peace.
Don't ask me to explain this command, but God
does ask us to obey this command.
So, let us PRAY!
