PRAYER ALERT: CURSE ON BIRDS

As the world has become aware of bird flu, in the month of November I received three strange emails in regards to birds. I had not sent anything out to my lists in regards to birds and these emails were not related to one another. I felt the Lord had sent them to me to highlight that the enemy had cursed the birds of the air.

In the first email, a lady on my list said that a literal bird fell from the sky, falling right at her husband's feet. The bird's head had been cut off.

In the second email, another writes: "This afternoon, as I got out of my van and was walking toward my front door, two worms (about 3" long) fell just past my head, FROM THE SKY ABOVE. Yes, I know it's weird. One fell just in front of my face and one fell right behind my head . . . both slithered (like worms do!) as soon as they hit the ground. My very first thought was that they looked like (represented?) serpents . . . and FALLING FROM THE SKY????"

In the third email, one saw in a vision that birds of the air were defecating over property, people, and worship services.


HOW TO APPLY WHAT IS SEEN/ HEARD:
 
Often seers will see into the second heaven, which is the demonic realm. It is our place to learn to discern between the holy and the profane, and not focus on the demonic intentions, but the Lord. The downfall happens when people start having faith in what they see in the demonic realm, not understanding that it IS the demonic.

There are many ways to discern what we see. However, these three Scriptures are an easy way to distinguish between them:

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." -Philippians 4:8 KJV

"Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." -James 1:16-17 NKJV

"If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" -Luke 11:11-13 NKJV

On the other hand, there are also authentic giftings where some are like spies seeing into the demonic, in order to shed light on the intentions and then bring strategic prayer against the intents. It takes a special kind of warrior to be able to see into this realm, shed light upon it, but not breed fear and doubt or faith in the demonic power, but instead turn it into God's perspective and how He sees it.


ANTIDOTE IN PRAYER:

There are many strategies in warfare prayer. One of the best strategies is to always pray in the opposite spirit of whatever is seen. Here are some strategies in praying in the opposite spirit:

1. We can release God's blessing over the birds of the earth. He created them as good and with purpose. We can speak into creation and bless it in Jesus' name.

"Then God said, 'Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.' So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, 'Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.' So the evening and the morning were the fifth day." -Genesis 1:20-23 NKJV


2. We can pray a hedge of protection over our birds and wildlife.

"What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen -- even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!" -Psalm 8:4-9 NKJV


3. We can dedicate them to return to their God-given purpose, which is to praise and glorify God.

"Let every created thing give praise to the LORD, for He issued His command, and they came into being." -Psalm 148:5 NLT

"For everything comes from Him; everything exists by His power and is intended for His glory. To Him be glory evermore. Amen." -Romans 11:36 NLT

"But we know that there is only one God, the Father, Who created everything, and we exist for Him. And there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through Whom God made everything and through Whom we have been given life." -1 Corinthians 8:6 NLT


4. We can take our places of authority as sons and daughters of the Creator. The earth is waiting for the manifestation and results of our taking our rightful places in the authority of the Lord. It is our place to rule and restore and bring His kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.

"For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now." -Romans 8:18-23 NKJV

"In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." -Matthew 6:9-10 NKJV

Sandy,

Last night, I was surfing TV, and at one point (don't know what channel or program that was on), there was the severed head of a bird (looked like a chicken) lying on the ground near the body of a murdered girl. I felt the presence of evil strongly and clicked immediately onto another channel, then to "Off," and began to pray. It was such a disgusting picture that I can picture it even today. My first thought was "witchcraft."

There is so much evil on TV this season. I am not going to be watching much TV.


NOTE FROM SANDY: Yes, I immediately thought that the headless bird at the feet of the husband in the first email to me was a curse of witchcraft. I took authority over it and commanded it to be broken in Jesus' name.

I'm glad you reinforced all this with the Word. It seems I had a dream some time back about an old van being covered with white bird poop and I didn't give it much thought at the time, but just wondered what in the world it meant, and forgot about it till now.

Sandy, I have to tell you, we have had a little bird for about three days making itself at home on the wreath of our door. Twice it got in, and the second time, it pooped on our TV. I knew there was something of a spirit nature happening, but this just confirmed it all. Thanks for the post.
