 My
nation, Canada, is in need of urgent prayer right now. Earlier this year, we
called for your help in prayer regarding the Same-sex Marriage bill. In spite of
our prayer, the government went ahead and pushed the bill through this summer.
Now, less than six months later, the government who passed the bill is being
challenged by the people in the nation due to many issues. There is a lack of
confidence in the nation towards this government, and therefore, an election has
been called for January 23, 2006.
WE MUST PRAY
We have not stopped praying even
though the bill went through this summer. We are believing the Lord for
righteous government. Christian organizations such as Watchmen for the Nations,
The Miracle Channel, Crossroads Communications, the National House of Prayer,
Faytene Kryskow/Fly High Ministries, and many others are strongly contending for
the Lord to be glorified in the nation of Canada and for His authority to be
established.
This election is a divine opportunity for us, but WE MUST PRAY.
The Lord showed me a vision of scales last spring. Injustice and immorality was
on one side, and the prayers of the saints were on the other. The scales need to
be tipped. Every prayer counts!
LET'S RAISE A
STANDARD IN THE SPIRIT
If a moral government is put
in place, the unrighteous decisions made by the previous government can be
overturned. An outpouring of His Spirit and glory--the presence of Jesus
Himself--is available to the nation, but it must be prayed through. If things
can turn around in Canada, a standard will be raised in the Spirit that will
influence other nations as well. We covet your prayers. Please cover the
following points in your intercession:
1. Pray for the exaltation of Jesus Christ in this election and believe
that honor will be given to His name and ways.
2. Pray that the Canadian Church will stand united and move forward in
faith, fervency, and tenacity in prayer for righteousness to prevail.
3. Pray for many Christians to be elected.
4. Pray that the Christians elected into position will not be afraid to
take a strong stand. Believe for the Lord to release a strong, prophetic voice
in the Christian electorates.
5. Bind demonic agendas that would target the election, in the name of
Jesus.
6. Loose the authority that is in Christ Jesus to prevail over the
natural government (see Matthew 28:18-20; Isaiah 6:7).
7. Pray for the zeal of the Lord to consume the Canadian Church and
government.
8. Pray for a generation of righteous radicals to rise up strong in this
hour.
9. Believe for the Josiah anointing (the restoration of righteous
foundations through the younger generation) to be made manifest during this
election.
10. Call for a reversal of evil mandates that were initiated through the
past government and for an exposure of every hidden, evil thing.
Praise the Lord for His righteous authority!!! Thank you for praying Church!

Christians often pray for an 'open heaven'. In connection
with our ministry earlier this year in the US and in Holland, Jason sensed the
Lord saying that the prayer that's needed today isn't "open up the
heavens".......but rather, "open up the earth". (God has always been available
to us; it is we who have not been open to Him.) All of us at Key of David felt
strongly that significant portions of these "live" ministry times ought to be
made available to the public.......and, in fact, that God had already given us
the title: "Open Up the Earth". Little did any of us realize that in the ensuing
months we would learn very personally what that title was all about.
We began enlisting help, traveling to Nashville and spending money in an effort
to correct the obvious mistakes and begin the laborious mixing process. But as
the weeks and months wore on there was a discontent amongst us with the results
of that work. As we removed the mistakes and seemingly enhanced the recordings
via mixing......the anointing seemed to be ebbing away. Eventually we concluded
that we preferred the raw, off-the-board recordings much more so than the
edited, mixed versions.
Then the Lord brought home the lesson. In the beginning when God first 'opened
up the earth', it was raw: no trimmed trees, no dammed rivers, no tunnels and no
levies. It was just creation in the rough......man had no hand in it......and it
was beautiful! Without realizing it we had for months been working to 'close up
the earth' when what God wanted was the raw, rough 'creation' that arose
spontaneously during those ministry times.
Sometimes excellence results by correcting mistakes and doing what is needed to
perfect the product. But that is not always the case! Striving for
perfection......or making things relevant does not necessarily equate with
excellence. At times what's needed is to just trust in what was done originally
and allow it to stand. That is what we have now done.
As such, "Open Up the Earth" is now a collection of 2 track, off-the-board,
mixed-on-site audio recordings. Then we've added a DVD (a first ever for Jason),
which mirrors much of Disc 1 from Harrisburg, PA. Disc 2 is from Holland with
certain other material added. We are not referring to this as a conventional
"live" project. Rather, "Open Up the Earth" is a series of Holy Spirit-led
messages and prayers, put to song, as caught on tape during these times of
worship. We trust you will enjoy and be blessed by them.
