Conrad Lampan's Bio:
Conrad is an Argentine who has been ministering on our staff for over 4
years now.
He has lived and ministered in the great revival that has swept through
Argentina since the 1980's. In fact, as a Bible College student, he was involved
in the initial crusades that led to the revival that started in the city of La
Plata, Argentina, with Carlos Annacondia.
He also worked in the foundational stages
of a church in La Boca, Argentina, which gave us many of the pastors of the
present revival. In that church, he was on staff for several years. When Conrad
came to us, he was a member of King of Kings Church, whose pastor is the Rev.
Claudio Freidzon who recommended him to us.
Conrad has also been ministering around the world since he has been working with
us in Fairborn. He has held services in the countries of Wales, England, Mexico,
Canada, Argentina, Scotland, and Australia. He has also been crisscrossing the
United States with meetings in more than 30 states. He has ministered in single
services as well as being the main speaker for conferences.
Conrad's powerful ministry is drawing people into a new intimacy with the
Father. There have been some tremendous miracles of healing in these services.
Some who had been crippled have not only walked again, but have literally run up
a flight of stairs. In our church, we had a tumor on the face of a woman
physically fall off of her face after praying for her! These are just a couple
of the many miracles that have been wrought by the Lord through Conrad's
ministry.

was just reading some articles on the Elijah List newsletter, and I was "caught
up" by the article "Jesus showed up in my room. . . " (www.elijahlist.com/words/)
because that is exactly what happened to me back in 1993. When Jesus showed up
in my room at 5 PM, it was an experience that put everything else upside down. I
just want to share this testimony which I treasure more than any other
experience with my Lord, even more than the night when I received the anointing;
that night was powerful -- it changed my ministry, but the night when Jesus
hugged me changed my life! Do you think Jesus would not ever become "physical"?

At one point that night, back in 1993, when
Jesus showed up in my room, I felt like I was in one of those science fiction
movies where a body explodes into millions of tiny particles under a surge of
energy or a collision with an unknown force.
I grew as a Christian, as I was saved at the early age of five and baptized at
10, but if anybody would have told me that the Lord could be so personally
involved with me, I would just have dismissed the whole idea with labels like
"emotionalism" or even cultic experiences. No, these things simply do not happen
to good Christians, or so I thought.
All my life, I have been hearing preachers and people in church talking about a
personal savior and of having a personal relationship with the Lord. However,
I found that my whole thing with Him was not a relationship and much less
personal. Salvation was more on the lines of a transaction: I accepted Jesus as
my "personal" savior, and that was it; thus endeth the "personal" part of it.
Until that evening in 1993
It happened at five o'clock. If I was in Britain, then I would have said Jesus
showed up for five o'clock tea.
I had gone earlier that day to my brother's house to visit for a couple hours,
but almost immediately upon arrival I felt an impulse, a tremendous urgency, to
go back to my house to pray. I had never had such a burden, and it somewhat
scared me a bit. I could not explain to my brother and his wife why I was
leaving right after I had arrived because I, myself, wasn't sure of what was
going on.
When I returned to my house, the burden was so heavy that I just rushed up to my
quarters and knelt down in my usual praying spot. However, although the burden
for prayer was so heavy and the Presence of God in that room was so real and so
vital, I could not pray. I simply could not pray. I did not know what to
say or even if I should say anything.
After a few minutes on my knees, with the Presence of God wrapping all around
me, I could only feel the warmth of His embrace. And then at the same time,
while I extended my arms as if to hug someone, I said from somewhere within my
heart, "Jesus, would you hug me?"
As I write this tears come down my cheeks, as I relive that moment. I was not
ready for what happened immediately after; for the very moment I said those
words and put my arms around, I felt a body. I was
touching a real body, and I could feel a head resting on my left shoulder and
the ticklish feeling of hair against my neck.
That was it
I could not say another word. All I could do was cry, and cry, and cry. I was
crying so much that it was like when babies cannot breathe at moments because of
so much crying. And it was then that I felt that this Presence of God, this
amazing embrace, could and would eventually disintegrate my body. The human body
can stand only so much of God's Presence, and then that's it. I felt my body was
about to explode.
But I did not care
I just wanted that hug to last forever. Finally, after some time
(I don't know how long because I lost sense of time. I had left earth;
time was the one thing I couldn't care less about),
I said, "Lord, let me go with you, just as we are now as you hug me, let us go
to heaven."
 He
softly withdrew, and for the first time, I heard an audible voice as He told me,
"I still want you here; you still have a long way to go."
Although He withdrew that amazing physical sense of His presence, I can still
feel His warmth today and His company with me at every moment. Even in the worst
of times, when things seem to go wrong, He is there with me. It is not just the
remembrance of what happened one night back in 1993, no it is not just
remembrances and good memories; He is real today, and that night was just the
beginning of a long-lasting experience, one that started and is ongoing. His
presence is real.
And this is what I am writing about. I do not want to share about the
theological or doctrinal aspects of Christianity; neither do I want to write
about revival for the sake of revival or share clues as to how to achieve our
best goal in life and ministry. No, my friend, all I wanted to share with you
today was this testimony and to tell you that such closeness is not only
possible, but He is waiting for us to come to Him.
Immerse yourself into the depths of a personal, intimate relationship with
Jesus, with the Father, and with the Holy Spirit, and you will find all that you
ever dreamt, expected, or desired will come into fulfillment out of that
relationship.
However, let me also give you a warning: empty yourself. Do not pursue a
relationship "in order to." Simply give yourself fully into that relationship so
that it becomes less and less transactional and more and more relational --
person-to-person for the sake of it. "Let this mind be in you which was also in
Christ Jesus. . . ." What mind was that? The mind to empty Himself for you.
Wouldn't you empty yourself for Him?
