 I
had a dream yesterday night, with very unusual contents. It was one of those
dreams that is so strange that you think there should be a hidden meaning to it.
I want to share it with you and also to share the interpretation the Lord gave
me.
I
was somewhere in the West Coast with some friends discussing some news that had
come a few hours ago. The news was that I had been chosen to be the Minister of
Defense of the present administration.
In
the dream, I was excited, but even more than excited, I was frightened -- almost
freaking out. And a lot of questions kept coming as to why and what. It was a
rather highly unlikely situation. Although way back in the past, I was involved
in politics in my own country; so, this seemed to be simply an unrelated, even
weird, dream (especially being in a foreign country).
However, I was asking questions to my friends and to myself. This position would
mean that I would need to communicate in a very special, fluent way, and being
hearing impaired, I was not able to. This was one of the questions. Then another
was how can I be the Minister of Defense of the nation if I am a foreigner?
Someone has made a mistake here.
Moreover, I am a preacher now, not a politician. [I'm] not even qualified as a
defense advisor or the like; so, even in my dream I was aware that there was
something out of picture, as things like this simply cannot happen.
When I thought about it and somewhat accepted it as a fact (still in the dream),
I asked myself another question: what can I offer? Looking at all that I
explained above, there was not much that I could really offer the
administration. So the final question was actually, "Why me?"
I
accepted the position and was getting ready to go, not knowing what was going to
happen and how I was going to cope with it all.
Then I woke up.
I
had been thinking about this dream and praying for revelation all morning, until
a moment ago when God suddenly shouted out
. . .
"THE CHURCH IS THE REAL
MINISTER OF DEFENSE OF THE NATION!
"
I
tuned up my ears to hear all that He was saying, and here it is. I will try to
convey it as succinctly and clearly as I can:
THE UNLIKELY
God always uses unlikely people to fulfill His purposes. And He says that the
real defense of the nation does not lie within the scope of human strategies but
rather in the "unlikelies" of His supernatural power. He says [to] just get
ready because you are the one who He will use.
THE RESPONSIBLE
The Church IS responsible for the defense of our nations. We are
responsible for what we let happen when we do not take our position as
"ministers of defense." However, this is not to be achieved by lobbying physical
capitols, but rather, by lobbying and literally storming the heavenlies in [the]
first place!
THE AVAILABLE
The question I had in my dream about "what I can offer, anyway?" is answered by
the Lord saying, "You have much to offer; you have the actual defense of the
nations in your hands because you can use My power". We do have much more to
offer than we could ever imagine.
The Pastor responsible for the first crusades that lead to the revival in
Argentina was asked what they did to have such a revival, and
he simply replied, "We made ourselves available to God." God is telling you
today, "It is not your power; it is your availability and My power."
THE DESPISED
God says that He is going to use those who have been despised. In fact, this is
not new, as we already read in the Word that "He uses the despised of the world,
what is not to put to shame what be." And who have been the despised in our
nations? They are the native peoples, the foreigners, and immigrants that have
been either misused or mistreated or both. You could add to the list [these]
few: the poor, the disabled, and the no names.
THE OUTCAST
Above all, there stands the big despised: the Church itself. The nation has
despised the Church, but in the end, it is the Church that will stand up and
offer the only possible help: the power of God! The nation that
has "cast out" God and has despised and marginalized the Church will come to
[it] for help. Amidst troubles, it will be like when
Israel was about to leave Egypt: "There was darkness in all the land of Egypt. .
. but in the houses of the Israelites there was light"
THE OUTCOME
In
my dream, I did not have the end of the picture, as I did not see the outcome of
it all. But I can see, in the Spirit, the outcome of the Church taking its
position as Minister of Defense of the nation: "If My people, upon whom My
Name is called, shall humble
themselves, . . . I will
hear, I will forgive, and I will heal their nation."

Steve Shultz: My personal friend, Carl Brettle, who I've done several
conferences with...offers this moving real-life testimonial of the ministry of
Conrad Lampan.
 Having
seen God begin to brood over Wales these last couple of years, it has been a
privilege to see the development of many prayer and pastoral networks from over
Wales. These networks have had input from ministries both locally and
internationally.
I would like, on this occasion, to testify of such a meeting. In a leaders'
breakfast (in the Newport area of South Wales), around 50 leaders gathered for
breakfast together, followed by ministry from Bro. Conrad Lampan from the
Argentine Revival. It was obvious from the outset that God had a special message
to bring, and [He] has mightily anointed Pastor Conrad to bring it.
The Third Day message was profound; only God's presence would do. He wanted a
radical presence-seeking bride and was drawing those 'God Chasers' to Him. His
vision for "Planting the Presence of Jesus" in our cities cannot be recognized
as coming from any other source but than from the Holy Spirit, Himself.
At the time of ministry, I could tangibly feel God's presence, and within
minutes the results were evident. Many leaders were being touched, called
really, to a deeper place -- a place of openness and release. It was powerful. A
friend said he could feel electricity all over him just by standing near a
person who was being prayed for.
Ministry continued powerfully for another 45 minutes or so. By the time Bro
Conrad prayed for me, I was already on my knees in God's presence, but as his
hands came onto my shoulders I felt so hot that I could have died. It was like
the fiery furnace of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego -- a feeling of being
kept safe only by God's grace. Several minutes went by, which felt like
hours, basking in the presence in the majesty of the Lord.
Bro. Conrad started to prophesy -- which actually started with a feeling of,
"he's read my mail!" The prophetic reached deep within my soul and spirit to the
place where I felt physical shifts take place. My God, I'm no longer the same!
I get to see and hear hundreds of ministers within the space of a year, but [ I
] cannot recall a time when the anointing was so strong or deep.
I believe seeing this ministry in action, we are truly within the beginning of
the third day church, where the radical, desperate, Spirit-led people are rising
from the nations of the world, and Bro Conrad is one of the few ignition
switches of this latest move -- as Paul said, "I thank God [for] you, making
mention of you always in my prayers."
