We must learn to hear prophecy as just that; a prophetic word about what God intends to do. Sometimes, I put out a Word that some feel is unbelievable because they see too much sin--and they are convinced that a city, state, or Government is beyond redemption. God can do in a minute, what the church has been unable to do in 50 years, if He so chooses. We must allow God to be God. He specialized in the hardest cities just so that we can see that HE is God.
A WORD FOR SAN FRANCISCO--"IT'S TEN TO ONE --PLACE YOUR BETS"

As a native San Franciscan and prayer warrior, I am believing God for a great outpouring of His revival love, mercy, and power in this city. To the untrained eye, this city is full of the outcast, the depraved, the hopeless, and sometimes the very greedy. But to the spiritual eye, these are the ones Jesus died for, and the ones we in the church should be showing mercy.
About a year ago, the Lord showed me a vision of a large container ship weighted down in the water and coming in under the Golden Gate Bridge. The containers were full. Then came along another container ship, also full, and another, and another. I asked the Lord what this meant . He impressed upon me that the blessing He has for this city is "so great that you will not be able to contain it."
More recently, the Lord spoke to me through Zechariah 8:20-23. "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Peoples shall yet come, inhabitants of many cities; The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying "Let us continue to go and pray before the Lord, and seek the Lord of hosts. I myself will go also." Yes, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in San Francisco, and to pray before the Lord.'"
"Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Christian in San Francisco, saying "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you." ' "
And the Lord would say to us today: "It's ten to one, it's ten to one. Place your bets. It's ten to one. Bet all that you have on Me."
I really believe that the Lord is going to do something so mighty that we may become overwhelmed with new believers. Imagine for every Christian, ten new believers to teach, deliver, and disciple. Pray for us that we would be ready to do what God has for each one of us in San Francisco. And I agree with you. Pray for mercy, for those of us who are saved, and for the desperately lost in our city. Lord, give us the lost.
