Your Wall of Protection
The Bible is a revelation of one man, from cover to cover, and that is Jesus!
Build a wall around yourself this way. Your protective wall is made up of knowledge—an unshakable knowing that trumps all your feelings or anything anyone could ever tell you to the contrary.
Jesus and What He Accomplished
Here it is:
• Jesus Christ was and is the spotless, sinless Lamb of God!
• He was born of the Virgin Mary.
• He grew up the spotless, sinless Lamb of God. He was not a sinner, never committed a sin; there was no guile found in His precious mouth!
• He died the death of a sinner, with our sin, not His! He who knew no sin was made to be sin with our sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him!
"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV)
• When He died the death of a sinner, with our sin, He descended into Hell to pay the price for our sin.
• After three days and three nights, God called into that pit and said, "Let all the angels of God worship Him... Your throne, O God, is forever and ever" (Hebrews 1:6–8 NKJV). (Photo via Piqsels)
• God raised Jesus from the dead.
• Death and Hell could not hold Him, because it was not His sin, it was ours. Therefore, He came out, and the sin stayed. He paid the price forever!
• He ascended to the right hand of God the Father, where He ever lives to make intercession for us.
• It is Him and only Him and His blood sacrifice that you must receive to go to Heaven. To do this, you must accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior!
Knowing These Truths Is Your Protection!
This is your wall! This is your protection to study deep. If anything you study bumps any of these facts, it must be thrown out immediately! If something you're studying in the Bible does not bump one of these facts, then it's probably not dangerous; it's just something you haven't heard before.
