Christa Elisha: A Different Kind of April Shower

Priests Are Being Positioned as Kings

Word of the Lord received on March 28, 2026:

I heard the Lord say, "April is the month of the open door. It is the season of crossover into the promise. April showers bring May flowers."

When He said this, I went into a vision where I saw golden crowns falling down like rain, landing on the heads of His Davidic priests. I knew in my spirit that this meant we were entering a season of priests being positioned as kings, like David was, after his wilderness season came to an end and he was finally able to take the throne he had been anointed to occupy many years earlier.

The Lord put an emphasis on the words "April" and "May." The word "April" is believed to come from the Latin word aperire, meaning "to open." The word "may" (verb) means "possibility" and "permission" (Merriam-Webster). I believe the Lord is saying that this is a time to be open to new possibilities, because you have His permission to step into the new kingly anointing you have been prepared for.

Pass over from Poverty to Prosperity

Word of the Lord received on April 7, 2026:

As I was praying, asking the Lord what He wanted to share with the ElijahStreams audience, I went into a vision where I saw Donald Trump wearing a coat of many colors. I knew that it was Joseph's coat, but I heard the Spirit of God say, "This is a multi-millionaire mantle that I have put on My servant."

Suddenly, I watched the winds of the Spirit begin to blow over Donald Trump, and I watched as this multicolored mantle began to stretch over the United States of America, specifically over the Church.

The Lord spoke again to me, saying, "This is a season of divine acceleration in the acquisition of great wealth for those who have faith to lay hold of it. It is the hour for My priests to step into their kingly role. I advise My people to repent from the 'poverty is piety' heresy, for the wealth of the wicked is getting ready to change hands to the righteous. I am raising up billionaire Believers who will fund the billion-soul harvest. For those who will receive My wisdom to acquire and steward wealth, I will assign nations in their care.

"Remind My Church that I am the God who gives them the power to create wealth, that I own the cattle on a thousand hills, that those who love Me will lack no good thing as they listen to Me and follow My commands to sow where they want to go. I would that they would buy wisdom and disciple nations through the wisdom that is bought. Money was never meant to be their master but meant to make a way to reveal My glory and My splendor to the ends of the earth. Yes, indeed, I am raising up money missionaries to those who have surrendered all to Me."

The Day of Entry

We are in the month of Nissan on God's calendar. As I prayed into this word, the Lord began to connect the dots of a pattern that stretches from Egypt to Jerusalem to right now.

Nissan 10 was the day the Israelites crossed the Jordan into their Promised Land with Joshua. It was the day the Passover lamb was taken into the home to be inspected. It was the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey to fulfill His prophetic destiny.

The Hebrews call it the "Day of Entry." And the Biblical pattern for this day has never changed. It is selection, inspection, qualification, and a sacrifice that releases national deliverance.

The Inspection Is Not Rejection

In Joshua chapters 4 and 5, we see something remarkable. Before Israel could take Jericho, there was a circumcision at Gilgal, a cutting away of the calloused flesh that had built up over the wilderness season. There was a fresh encounter. There was healing. There was rest. And then the Lord said, "'Today I have rolled away the shame of your slavery in Egypt.' So the place has been called Gilgal to this day" (Joshua 5:9 NLT).

The word "Gilgal" signifies rolling the stone of shame away. It was a resurrection of a word from God that seemed as if it had died in a previous season, when the people of Israel had disobeyed by refusing to enter the Promised Land in the generation before. I then realized that on April 5th we celebrated the day when Jesus rose to life and rolled the stone away.

The Spirit of the Lord says to His people, "I have not forgotten My promises to you. You thought they were dead when in fact they were seeds. This Resurrection Day marked a resurrection in your faith to step out of the place of mourning and into My promises for you. For I am removing the shame of your last season and crowning you as an overcomer."

Then I heard the Lord say this to His people: "The inspection is not rejection. The inspection is qualification. You who thought you were being held back, but you were being held close. You who thought you were under attack, but you were under examination—not to disqualify you, but to prove you ready. Many are called, but few are chosen. And 'chosen' means you went through the necessary preparations to pass the test."

The Suddenly in the Storm

Then the Lord brought the story of John 6 to my spirit. The disciples had been rowing all night into a headwind in the dark, exhausted and afraid, stuck in the middle of the Sea of Galilee. When they willingly received Him into the boat, Scripture says they were immediately at their destination (John 6:21). The Greek word for "immediately" is eutheós, and it means "at once," "directly," and "straightway." This was not shortly after, not when the wind died down—immediately. What took hours of human effort to cover halfway took zero seconds of divine presence to complete.

I want to ask you something. Where have you been rowing alone? What area of your life have you been grinding through in your own strength—ministry, finances, health, your calling—and you just cannot seem to get there?

The answer is not to row harder. The answer is to willingly receive Jesus into the boat, because the moment He enters, the distance between where you are and where you are going is going to collapse.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Engines

Many of us have been in a season of rest. But the week leading up to Resurrection Sunday, I kept hearing the phrase "Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines." And then I heard the sound of race cars revving. I could see the countdown timer. I could see the checkered flag. And the Lord showed me something. He said, "You thought you were in the pit. But you were recovering your strength in the pit stop."

On a racetrack, the pit stop is where they recalibrate, mend what is broken, refuel, and change the tires. He said, "I had to pull you over into a pit stop, and you had to rest so that the acceleration of this next season I have planned for you will not tear you apart.

"You have learned to rest. Now it's time to get back in the race and RECOVER ALL, for April is the month of acceleration—the month of increase, the month of upgrade. You have passed your qualifying lap, and now it is time to take position and possession of the next level of your prophetic destiny.

Run for the Roses

Then I saw racehorses, and I saw the winner's circle where they place the crown of roses on the champion. And the Lord said, "The season of thorns that you went through is now blooming into a field of roses. I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, "It is time for you to come out of the loser's mentality and enter the winner's circle."

The Lord is crowning many in this hour who are willing to buy wisdom. Proverbs says to buy wisdom and do not sell it. Those who are willing to pay for wisdom, to sow into their next season, He is crowning with wisdom in warfare and wisdom to obtain Kingdom wealth.

There is understanding, education, and experience that Josephs have stewarded faithfully in places of obscurity. And this is a season where those in positions of authority are going to be connected to Josephs in order to delegate and steward great Kingdom assets. Your Dreams Are Seeds

The things you hold in your heart, the ways you want to leave a legacy, the ways you want to impact the world, those are not idle dreams. Those are seeds—God's breadcrumbs pointing you to your Promised Land.

He is saying to you, "Those things in your heart? They are My dreams in seed form. You just have to care for them. Water them. Take action. Listen and obey, even into the unknown."

He goes before you and He is your rear guard. And testimonies give you courage to remember that what He did for you before, He will do for you again.

If you have made yourself ready, if you have gone through the process of purification, you are now qualified to level up. It is about to be a brand new adventure, a brand new day, and the shame of your wilderness season is being rolled away.

Decrees for the Season of Crossover:

• I decree that the open door of the Lord stands before me and no man can shut it.

• I decree that my season of inspection has produced qualification, not rejection.

• I decree that the shame of my wilderness is rolled away at Gilgal.

• I receive Jesus into the boat of my circumstances, and I declare that I am immediately at my destination.

• I decree acceleration over my calling, my finances, my health, and my family.

• I declare that the thorns of my last season are blooming into a crown of roses.

• I come out of the loser's mentality, and I enter the winner's circle by the blood of the Lamb.

• I declare that my dreams are God's seeds and I will steward them with faith and action.

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. It is time to get back in the race and run again. In Jesus' mighty name, amen.
