The Resurrection and the Life
One of the names of Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. In John 11:25–26, Jesus, on His way to raise Lazarus from the dead, declared to Martha that whoever believed in Him would live, even if they died, and whoever lived by believing in Him would never die.
"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in Me will never die. Do you believe this?'" (John 11:25–26 NIV)
Many are being delivered from spiritual death into eternal life when they come to believe in Jesus. Even untimely, physical death was defeated, as Jesus raised those who had died, like Lazarus in John 11.
Resurrection from Physical Death: An Awakening Behind the Gravestones
I believe, along with spiritual resurrection, there is an awakening from the Lord that is longing to be quickened so that many who have physically died in an untimely way—where their destinies were not fulfilled—will be raised back to life.
Several months ago, the Lord gave me a dream where I was taken in the spirit to a burial ground. I saw many gravestones of those who had died. As I stood there, I began to think of the mandate of the Lord to raise the dead. My heart was filled with great compassion, especially for those whom the enemy had taken out prematurely, who had not fulfilled their full destinies.

When I woke up, I thought of John 11:33, where Jesus had groaned in His spirit before calling forth Lazarus. I believe the Lord wants to breathe on the mandate to raise the dead and release faith in us to do so.
"When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled." (John 11:33 NIV)
I believe the Lord wants to quicken His mandate to raise the dead today. Faith to awaken those who have prematurely died is being quickened in hearts, and some resurrection stories of the dead coming back to life have happened as a result of the faith of the Believer—the gift of faith and the resurrection power of our Lord. I truly believe the Lord wants to release more of this in this season. As we activate this mandate by faith, the anointing will increase to see the dead raised.
Resurrection from Spiritual Death: Your Destiny Is Mandated to Live!
I believe my dream also spoke of many real-life dreams, mandates, and destinies that have prematurely died. The Lord wants to awaken these.
Your destiny is mandated to live and not die.
There is a diabolical plan of the enemy to see destinies unfulfilled. For many, the immense battle you have faced has been a plan from the enemy of your soul to stop your God-given purpose from producing fruit.
Your destiny will be redeemed in the following ways:
• The release of your faith-filled decrees will stop and halt the enemy's plans to destroy destinies.
• The incoming power of the Lord will crush delays and setbacks so that your destiny can be fulfilled.
• Determination to obey your God-given mandate in a timely manner will see your purpose fulfilled.
The apostle Paul was focused on fulfilling his purpose. His obedience and resilience in the face of setbacks caused him to fulfill all of his God-given purposes. He declared that he had run the race and finished the course before he went to be with the Lord.
Run your race with eternity in mind. Be obedient to fulfill all that the Lord has called you to.
Resist the Temptation to Self-Abort
The Lord gave me another dream about a woman who had a sudden desire to abort her baby. In this dream, I saw that she was associating with another woman who had a similar demonic desire to self-abort. I discerned that the spirit influencing her friend started to influence her to give up and let her baby go.
I woke up with a revelation that some people—because of hope deferred and long delays in seeing their God-given dreams come to pass—had decided to give up. Instead of the life-giving words they had been speaking, they got so discouraged they began to speak death over their own dreams.
The main woman I saw in my dream represents people who have been surrounded by those who have also given up on seeing the manifestation of God's promises in their lives. In my dream, I discerned that a demonic spirit was influencing and releasing words into their hearts to give up and abort their babies. I believe both of my dreams are interrelated. In fact, some of the gravestones I saw in my dream belonged to those who had self-aborted their own destinies and purposes.
Many are going through intense battles that seem insurmountable and have given up hope that their God-given dreams will still come to pass. They have given up to the extent that they are submitting to a demonic influence that wants to kill their hopes and dreams.
Have Hope: Jesus Is Calling You Forth!
My word of the Lord to you is this: If you are in this seemingly insurmountable situation, hold on to Jesus with all your heart, abide in Him, and worship though this season. Surround yourself with those who would speak life into you. There will be a sudden shift and breakthrough for those who wait on the Lord. Wait on Him, for He will not fail you.
Today, in the name of Jesus, I decree a binding of every death-causing spirit that has been sent to influence you to abort your own destiny and purpose. I speak the wisdom and discernment of the Lord into your heart that will cause you to come out of alignments with what would cause death to the destiny and purpose you are carrying. I speak encouragement to your heart, soul, and mind to hold on, for He is faithful who has promised (see Hebrews 10:23). I pray for everyone who feels a "deadness" or a "dying" in the womb of their spirit.
Beloved, God wants what He has put in you to come forth. Will you put your hands on your belly as I come in agreement with you for a coming forth, a birthing, and an awakening to life all that the Lord has for you?
I say, let there be a gushing forth of living waters into the womb of your spirit, releasing your long-awaited dreams and destiny!
