He Took Courage
"When Asa heard this message from Azariah the prophet, he took courage and removed all the detestable idols from the land of Judah and Benjamin and in the towns he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. And he repaired the altar of the Lord, which stood in front of the entry room of the Lord's Temple." (2 Chronicles 15:8 NLT)
"When Asa heard this message... he took courage..."
Prophetic voices are reawakening courage in leaders. In a time of spiritual complacency, the prophetic word is rekindling boldness. Asa didn't just hear and feel convicted, he acted. The Ekklesia must move from passive agreement to prophetic action. This is not the hour to sit on revelation, it's the hour to respond in courage.
The Call: Courage is the first fruit of a real prophetic word. If your altar is broken, courage is the hammer to rebuild it.
Purify the Altars of Influence
"He removed all the detestable idols..."
The Ekklesia must confront idolatry in all its modern forms. Idols today aren't golden statues; they're platforms, personalities, compromise, political idols, financial dependence, and cultural relevance at the expense of Kingdom purity. The prophetic word calls us to purify the altars of influence.
The Call: The spirit of Asa is rising on leaders who will cleanse the land, not just entertain the crowd. The false altars are falling.
Govern What You've Gained
"In the towns he had captured..."
Authority must be exercised in every area we've been given dominion. This wasn't just about the temple; it was about the entire territory. Asa went back to every region he had conquered and ensured alignment; likewise, the Ekklesia must govern what we've gained. That means our homes, our churches, our cities, our regions. The Call: Revival isn't just for the sanctuary; it's for the suburbs, the streets, and the systems under your authority and Kingdom governance.
Repairing Altars
"And he repaired the altar of the Lord..."
God is raising up altar repairers, not just platform builders. The altar is the place of sacrifice, intercession, and glory. In many churches, the altar has become symbolic, neglected, or removed entirely; but Asa understood if the altar isn't right, the temple has no power.
The Call: This is the hour to rebuild the altar in your church, your family, and your city. No more performance-based pulpits. God wants fire-fueled altars.
Entering Revival Through Consecration
"Which stood in front of the entry room..."
Access to God's presence begins at the altar. Before entering the inner place, there must be cleansing, repentance, worship, and sacrifice. The Ekklesia must stop trying to enter glory without honoring the altar; the entry point to revival is consecration.
The Call: The front door to God's presence is paved with sacrifice and purity. Rebuild the altar and the glory will return.
The charge to the Ekklesia is rebuild the altar, remove the idols, take courage, govern your territory, and let the fire fall again. The Spirit of Azariah is prophesying again, and the Spirit of Asa must rise to respond.
